Sadly, running isn’t your best ability. After chasing for the robber across some streets, you gave up. Your minds at loss and you’re in the brink of crying and breaking down.
You collaspe on the floor, knees on the ground, “my phon-ne” you mumble.

“Hey miss! I supposed, this is yours?” A man asked while panting hard.

You looked up with tears in your eyes. Words that reads –LEE DAHAE :D- is printed on the cover that the man is holding.
“IT’s MY PHONE!” you exclaimed, “THANK YOU SO MUCH!!” while vigorously shaking the man’s hand.
“erm, you’re welcome. Are you okay?” The man asks, “Let’s take a sit over there”
After several uncontrollable tears of joy and repeated thank you(s), you finally managed to calm down.
“Sit here. I’ll get you a drink” The man who helped you said before leaving.
When he returned, he handed you a cup of hot chocolate. Best companion in this cold winter. Both of you then look up in the dark sky which soon began to be lit up by fireworks l
Ever since you’re young, you will often make a wish when you see the fireworks. Hoping that your wish will ‘explode’ like those fireworks, letting it come true.
You close your eyes and starting to make you wish.

*This year, firstly, I wish that my loved ones will continue being in good state of health. Secondly, hopes that our family’s burden regarding financial problem will be lightened and let everyone be happy. Lastly, I hope to meet my prince charming… Or I had already found him?*

You slowly open your eyes and turn towards the man’s direction, admiring his side feature as he looks up in the sky. You gave a smile before facing the sky again.

“I’m Jung ByungHee. What’s your name?” He asked.
“Lee Dahae.” You replied shyly.
“Nice to meet you and Happy New Year!” he turned to you, giving an eye smile
“Me too. Happy New Year to you too!” you blushed.

After the fireworks parade, he turned to you again. “It’s getting late, so hurry up and go home. It’s not safe for a girl to stay out so late. Do you need me to walk you home?”
“It’s okay. I can go back myself. I was thinking, can I have your contact info so I could call you next time so I could treat you to a meal to show my appreciation to you for helping me get back my phone?” you asked with hope.

“If it’s destiny, we’ll meet again! So, see you soon, hopefully.” Byunghee said before leaving.
Although, half disappointed that you didn’t managed to get his number, but you are happy that you didn’t have to spend New Year eve alone this time
