The Benefits of Having a Dumb Best Friend
Description
Zhang Yixing is your average high school student, bar him not being all that great at chemistry. He also has a not-so-slight-actually-pretty-obvious thing for his friend Kim Joonmyun, and a dumb best friend called Jongin.
Yixing sat in his room, attempting to study. He would emphasize the word attempting, because like every other time he and Joonmyun would try to study together, the latter would up achieving that but Yixing would find it hard to concentrate when his face – his perfect face was so goddamn close, and he could see every line, hair in perfect clarity and not to mention those lips. It made Yixing just really want to kiss him, but he couldn’t possibly – Joonmyun was one of his best friends and he was straight. The idea was something out of the question.
Yixing could easily say this was a big problem of his. The close proximity meant Joonmyun was breathing down his neck whilst teaching him something about science and it shouldn't have been that y – but God it’s Joonmyun and Yixing was finding it really hard to pretend he was thinking about balancing chemical equations instead of what chemicals he'd put into Joonmyun if he were given the chance.

Please forgive my awkwardness and lack of anything that actually makes sense about here.
This is my first full actual fic, and it's my baby ^^ originally I wasn't going to upload it (I just needed to get it off my chest), but some of my friends read it and they thought I should upload it, so I'll give it a shot c:

2016 EDIT OH BOY
There comes a point in time in your life that you realize no amount of editing will ever be enough - I've reached this point.
I wrote this in 2012 ( ripe old age of 14) so a lot of it makes me cringe. I've edited it quite a bit now to prevent that, but I must apologise because I'd never delete this or change it heavily because there's only so much of the story you can change before it's a completely different one. It is my baby a bit (like that one that's a lil embarassing at times) so I'm going to leave it here and even so people seemed to enjoy it so I hope if you do decide to read it you do too! There isn't much Sulay in the world so I'm happy to provide.
