chapter ten |
Catching Snowflakes
“Sunshine, we’re here.” I felt a nudge on my shoulder as my eyes fluttered open. The first thing I saw was Daehyun’s face smiling softly as me.
Oh god. The butterflies. I turned red as I looked away quickly. “We’re here. Let’s go.” Daehyun said again.
I nodded, before standing up, trying to find balance since my legs were still numb from the sleep. It was around 5 PM now and we decided to spend the rest of our day at Seoul’s Namsan tower. Part of it was to go to the love padlocks tree, but Daehyun also said there was a really good restaurant here so I honestly don’t know which one is his main purpose.
We had been riding the Namsan cable car up the mountain and I feel asleep on Daehyun’s shoulder along the way. Couldn’t blame me. I spent the whole day with this child and I was already kind of worn out.
We got off the cable car and walked towards the tower. Daehyun insisted on piggy back riding me until we got to the restaurant, but I refused. I didn’t want to look like a spoiled girlfriend and I’m pretty sure Daehyun is tired himself.
While walking, his hand found it’s way to mine as he held onto it, our fingers locking perfectly into place. I turned to look at him before seeing him smiling in my direction again.
Oh god. Doesn’t this boy realize that he’s killing me?
“You’re really cute when you’re sleepy sunshine.” he suddenly commented, making me turn dark 5 shades of red. He chuckled before giving me that award winning smile of his again. I groaned mentally on the inside.
Jung Daehyun, you will be the death of me.
• His smile.
