________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

In a few minutes she will be free, she can handle it.  Just a few minutes more and she can leave this hell and all will stop. She is resisting, she will be finally fine. Someone stretched out a knife to her but she won’t take it, she doesn't want to. She rather dies than be like her. Just a few minutes, just a little more..., she can’t give up now, even though she is encouraged enough to do so. She hears the clamor of those who surround her. "DO IT!". She covers her ears and closes her eyes, she needs to stay sane. "Please make it stop" are all the thoughts in her head right now. "Make them shut their mouths, everyone". All those voices... They kept oppressing her. She just wanted that to stop.

How old were we when we started to remember what we were living? Was it a sort of blank out stage where we stay white until the memories start to be published on our conscious paper? As if there were no cartridges until then. But when we start to remember, we know there had been "something" before. Maybe it's because it MUST have been something that we think is similar to this. Or, maybe we actually can remember before this "stage" but our memory was washed out; rather similar to a washing-machine. Our memory is surely the stain. But too violent memories mark us as indelible stains. In Yuri's case, she didn't remember a lot from her childhood. She just recalled never feeling loved in her family and that is the stimulus that brought her to the orphanage she is in now. With almost everything nearly forgotten, some short flashbacks still remained with her. The little girl that she is can't help but look around herself. In front of her, she sees her mother's profile. She's talking to someone; her friend most likely. She tries to look at her by turning her head slightly but the edge of her bassinet prevents her from doing so. Both of us kept talking without stopping.
Her mother is beautiful, a fine face emphasized by magnificent brunette hair. She's quite young, she is smiling. Yuri then hears those words which marked those indelible stains. Until now, her memory had stayed mute but now, she could understand them far better than she did before. She has grown enough to understand.

"And he left like this?" the first voice asked. Yuri recognized the woman whose voice belonged to.
"Yes, he got scared with this baby thing. I can't understand why he forced me to keep her since he didn't want her either and left anyway".
"Seriously, why did you listen to him.."

The mother turned her face to her daughter, her eyes changing, her expression almost full of hatred.

"We all make mistakes".

"We all make mistakes?". Ever since she were able to understand these words, they repeatedly played on her mind. Is that what she was then? A mistake? Eleven years had passed since this mistake had been made. The more she observes the dirty walls of the orphanage, the more she thinks it’s true and wasn't meant to be there. She lays down on something too hard to be call a bed whilst looking at the ceiling. She then begins to raise her arms and fingers only to start imaginary drawings with them; it made her busy since she already had nothing to do. When her arms become numb, she stands up and goes outside to the playground and her look wanders. She hears a few hushed up noises similar to when you hit a sack. Someone is being bullied again. She looks over at a group of girls further away in the distance. It’s none of her business. Besides, caring about other peoples' problems only brings more problems. The brunette girl let a sigh escape and decides to make her way back into the building. The air here is rotten; it smells the insignificant of the existence. In this orphanage, only the rare are adopted and most of the time, five years old passed; nobody wants you. Dates pass and like expired food, you're left out; these kind of things can make you sick. Most of the time, it’s more to exploit the children than give them a real family. In actual facts, it’s almost like this all the time. The brunette girl came to terms with it. She only has seven more years to handle before this hell could end. If someone came to take her by then, her answer would not be no. She is lucky though, all the other girls in the orphanage know that it’s better to not mess with her so she's relatively solitary and quiet. Well... Was.

A new girl had arrived. She is a bit older than Yuri and in only a few days she had made everybody respect her. Realistically, the switchblade knife that she keeps in her pocket helps a lot. The brunette girl didn't know what she did to obtain it as she had surely stolen or meticulously hidden it when she came to the orphanage. As soon as she makes the blade shine under the sun of the playground, everybody shuts up and stops moving. They are too afraid to talk and the guards let her do so. They are supposed to keep an eye on us but they never do. They royally do not give a . Come on, less of these parasites who spoil their lives can only benefic. They would even enjoy it. This bloody fantasy which made them obsessive each night of their insipid existence. And this girl who never really used her knife to kill after all. There's really not a lot to complain about. But when she suddenly wants to, her team mates can grab one of the girls and we can be sure she will be back with some stigma. So there you have it; thats what the orphanage became. A dictatorship with its little tyrant, its Milice and its population composed by passive imbeciles who take pleasure in their slavery. Yuri is far from all of this or rather tries to be. It’s the others who keep provoking her because her passivity amuses her.

"Hey Kwon you burn out! I'm talking to you" Shouted a blonde.

She kept playing jokes on darker colour skin than hers and it’s what she often did. Nonetheless Yuri didn't care either and she had gotten use to it and thought it’s too stupid an insult. Yuri kept a blunt look on her face as GyuRi blocks her way. Even though she is older, Yuri isn't afraid. She really didn't care the same with everything else.

"Are you trying to mess with me Kwon Yuri?!"
"Not specifically".

She looks away beyond GyuRi. You don't look at dogs in the eyes unless you want them to be even more pissed off. Here we go; she takes out her switchblade knife which flaps as it is opened.

"You are made out of mouth".

She comes closer and leans onto the brunette girl to intimidate her, sticking the frozen blade onto Yuri's cheeks as she gently traces it down. It slightly cut into Yuri's skin making a red streak across her cheeks until her jaw. GyuRi only looks for the fear in her victim's eyes but Yuri stays still. Why should she be afraid? Violence she knows already. She already had felt the pain of what a mistake she had been. It some how made the blade to her stomach seem without a doubt much sweeter than what she was living. A pissed off GyuRi pushes her and places the knife back in her pocket. She didn't enjoy it today. Perhaps another time..

"You're lucky" she added before leaving.

Yuri restarts walking back to her room whilst wiping the thick trail of blood left smudged on her cheeks. She approaches her bed and lifts the mattress to make the base appear. There, in one of its corners, she takes an mp3 player that she had kept since she stole it from the people who sometimes came to see her as if the children were animals to adopt. All the songs were deleted besides one. Among all the American rap and other findings, she found one which succeeded in cheering her up and so she listened to it repeatedly, preserving as much as she could of the battery since it was hard to find or steal.

“Up in the sky, you can fly
You will make it if you try
In the sky you are far away”

She loves the rhythm; it's lively in contrary to the gloomy grey walls here.

“Up in the sky, you can sing
And you can do everything
And no matter what they say it’s true
I’m going to the blue”

Loving these lyrics meant no limits. Still, limits still applied since she would have to suffer inside the railings of the orphanage due to no choice. And to think, just in a few years she could leave. She just has to let patience overcome her before she could one day have the choice.

“I wanna live in the sky”

She wishes to be free from this prison as soon as possible. The blue sky in the song; she wants to see it. The sky is a dull grey here which is the equivalence to the people's mentalitiy. Sometimes she would think that the building is surrounded by a thin layer which bounded the sky to be only grey close by. It is really due to the walls' colour being faded. It can only be because of that.

A few weeks passed and she is called to the director's office and when she gets in, another smiling man was there already. He was smiling at her; a sweet smile.

"You will be adopted" announced the director without even looking at her.

This late? her hell will end sooner than it really should then? He seemed kind. For the first time, she will have a family. At that moment in time she really didn't think of what others said about adults coming to pick up children which were over five years. The man begins to rest his hand on her shoulder still smiling.

"I hope you will enjoy being with us".

The departure date is fixed for next monday.

[]

The following Monday was cold. Yuri had prepared her bag without forgetting the mp3 player that she is good at hiding. She is well dressed for once; she has to look presentable infront of her new family. She leaves for the principal's building to wait alone. Yuri's gaze turns to the clock which sits imposingly above the door frame and to think in fifteen minutes, fifteen little minutes, she leaves all of  this behind and she is free. It is crazy how the hand takes such time to travel accross the face's perimeter on the clock. Suddenly she feels arms which are grabbing and pulling at her. They throw her at the blonde girl's feet as she holds her knife, playing with it, opening and closing it, ultimately causing the blade to slam in an incessant way.

"You will leave us? How awful.."

The brunette girl stood back up wiping her knees.

"I wanna play with you at least once more" declared GyuRi as a smirk spread across her face.

She slowly comes closer and throws her fist straight at Yuri's jaw making her lose her balance hence making her dizzy. Yuri steps back holding her jaw whilst stumbling. She wipes her split lips in attempt to get her senses back. During a second, she tries to understand the point of such violence and concludes with still not wanting to fight.

"We will finally know what you're made of".

This time she keeps the knife open. Yuri casts a glance at the clock. In a few minutes she will be free, she can handle it. Just a few minutes more and she can leave this hell and all will stop. She is resisting, she will be finally fine. She muttered things to herself to hold on, sings inside of her head the lyrics of this song that she knows by heart. Someone stretched out a knife to her but she won’t take it, she doesn't want to. She rather die than be like her. She felt as if she were in a dog fight except that she were the dog and all the others surrounding her are making fun of her distress and they are all henchman to the tall blonde girl. Even the bullied individual had joined the brouhaha's excitation. Violence engenders violence. Why were they doing this? Yuri had never done anything to them... Instead of attacking their tyrant, instead of this they prefer aggress the minority, the recluse. No, she's not like them, or at least, she hopes that she's not. The blonde slowly approaches with blade in hand and threats her. The tall brunette girl begins to look for a way around, a flaw which enables her to runaway -not because she is a coward, but because she simply doesn't want to fight. All she wants is was to meet her new family. Learning what Christmas is, tasting birthday cake.. . how sweet it must taste a birthday cake... Suddenly the blonde attempts to slash her and Yuri steps back slightly as the weapon cuts thin air. Someone is grabbing Yuri's arms, forcing her to take the knife by closing her fingers onto it. Yuri, convinced enough to escape reality, continues to sing her favorite song in her mind.

“I never want to die

I wanna live in the sky”

Her neither, she doesn’t want to die finally. She thought she didn’t care but she does in real. She wants to find this “sky”, after she could die but not before. Her grip grows stronger on the knife’s handle. She feels a adrenalin boost submerging her, she lost the control of what she’s doing, the only thing she knows is that she doesn’t want to die anymore and that’s what make her body moves. She throws herself on GyuRi, knife’s blade ahead, and then this point encounters the matter. The blond girls stand up only for few minutes; it’s just the proof that without her knife, she’s nothing, only weak, only as the others. She demolished on the ground, a dark red stain appears as soon as she does. The brown-haired girl look at her bloody hand without realizing what she just does. She drops the knife. Everybody stopped shouting and screaming. That’s what they wanted! They should be satisfied now! Instead of this they are looking at her, shocked. Yuri would have wait eleven years for her “heaven” to arrive, it would have taken a fraction of second to lose everything. The clock rings out.

[...]

Seventeen years on and we can say she has gotten use to the detention center. It was here that she felt she could have been the main target for GyuRi. She thought that nothing worse than the orphanage did exist but well... boy was she wrong. Everything is filthy here and in order to pay debt to their society, Yuri had to work by taking out the rubbish all day. It made the brunette girl laugh slightly. Was it meant to be like this then? A human's life wasn't worth the price of two empty cans, an old newspaper, used cigarettes, old handkerchief.. she felt like she could go on forever with the amount of useless junk she could compare her life with. These tasks all exhaust her, but at least she had something to do. No more time to lose. Miraculously, she had saved her mp3 player and the song of her choice still accompanies her everywhere. The sky is still grey here. She had no choice but believe that every unpleasant place came with a dark surrounding. A signal rings out; its the doorway opening. Yuri curiously lifts her head to see what had made their way here. It was probably another girl. What did she do? Regarding Yuri, no one knew she murdered someone and like all people who knew about their flaws, she preferred to keep this one to herself. A variety of young delinquents can be found in this place; some being robbers, aggressive vandalizers and even the rare homicidal one or two. In other words, a trashcan where you shove all your unwanted rubbish, best describes this place. Yuri knew that she was being totally dehumanized. She is just like the cans she cleans; empty. Once her chores have concluded, she makes her way back into her room. Indeed however, there was one positive point about the rooms. In these pig-pens labeled "rooms", no more than two people are placed in the case of one turning insane hence resulting in less victims if they harmed the latter. When she finally reaches her room, Yuri notices that a new bag had been placed on the bed in front of her. She was going to dorm with the new girl; great. The brunette begins to lie on her bed whilst resting her head peacefully on her arms behind her, crossing her legs nonchalantly. She closes her eyes and after a few minutes, opens them again when she hears the door shutting.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up" apologised the new girl.
"I wasn't sleeping" Yuri coldy follows.

The new girl stays quiet and goes to bed for a lie. The tranquility ends for Yuri. Her mp3 player could not be risked seeing now. The girl begins to turn on her side to get a better glimspe at Yuri; she seems to be looking intensively at her.

"And what are you looking at?!" Yuri has been pissed off.
"Nothing".

She quickly turns her front to the other side. Both of them didn't dare talk anymore till the bell rang for dinner. Well "dinner" is a strong word shall we say, to qualify if the stuff being served was even edible. The new girl sits beside her. Wasn't she ever going to get time alone again?
the brunette shortly finished her plate of "dog food" (even commonsense would drive an animal away from this crap). Yuri hurriedly makes her way back to her room in hope that the latter loses direction and doesn't continue to invade her living space but sadly this doesn't last long. She has gotten use to many things, however she wasn't about to let anyone share her room. She casually changes clothes and lies down on her bed again. The new girl does the same. As soon as the light switch off, the new girl's voice can be heard as she mutters quietly in order to prevent her voice from being heard anywhere outside the thin walls. She isn't hesitating at all; its actually quite the opposite.

"You don't talk a lot".
"I dont need to".
"Where do you come from?".
"Somewhere".
"What have you done to be here?"
"Something."
"How could I get to know you if you aren't saying anything?"
"I dont give a ".
"Can you atleast say sentances more than three words long?"
"What would it be of use to here?"
"Good! you've done it."

Thats it, go ahead and laugh at me...

"You'll learn soon enough that you have to shut your mouth here and do as you're told".
"So I am not aloud to know you? we can be friends".

Friends? that doesn't even exist. Its nothing but a derisory notion used to reassure the human mind that he/she isn't alone. The only thing you can do is count on yourself. Its the only useful thing she learn whilst at the orphanage.

"Do you still believe in Santa Claus or what?"
"What about you?".

She feels that the newbie is making fun of her. Pissed off at this thought, Yuri clenches her teeth.

"I've never believed in him. He never came to my place".

'My place'. Another derisory concept since she technically never had one.

"Thats too bad. What would you want to ask him?"

Yuri begins to think that the girl is plain stupid.

"I just want to sleep".
"Ok, see you in the morning then".

Both of them close their eyes. Come tomorrow, Yuri will get rid of this girl for the day resulting in working in peace. Atleast thats what she thought, but a day later and the girl is still following her. What does she seriously want?
she picks up one of the cans and chucks it into the garbage bag. Finally, her curiousity out-does her.

"What is your name?".
"Yoona, what about you?".
"Yuri."
"Do you know why you're called that?"
asks a curious Yoona.
"My 'mother' didn't know which name to give me so she opened a book about names and decided to give me the first name that appeared on the list; Yuri. Its just random."
"Then if it was really random, you were lucky since its pretty".
"Yoona is pretty too".

It takes a few minutes for Yuri to realise what she had just said. It had come out by itself. Without a doubt for the first time in her life, her cheeks blossom with pale red and it wasn't for the reason of getting beaten.

"You think so?" asks the other girl with a smile.
"Well... I-I mean I've seen worse".
"Right."

Yuri keeps cleaning floors as the younger girl came to a halt. It was probably the first time that the brunette had talked this much. Nonetheless, she knew that conversating whilst cleaning the floor wasn't the best time to socialise. She waited till the end of the afternoon till they were back in their room. Like every evening, Yuri continued to lie on her bed and stare at the ceiling.

"What would you like to do?" questions Yoona again.

Does she ever stop with her questions?

"Nothing. Nothing that I am allowed to do in any case".

A silence settles in.

"What about you?" adds Yuri.

She didn't really know why she asked this as she knew it wouldn't change anything in her life if she knew the answer. She probably felt the need to talk; an unconscious need that had been repressed for too long. Most of the time you wouldn't talk to the others over here due to them viewing it as an insult so it was best to avoid speech. It all must have been Yoona's fault which caused her questions to rub off onto Yuri.

"I like to read. But you? you really dont seem to like anything. I mean even things you can't do here count".

The taller girl hesitated abit. If Yoona knew that she possessed a forbidden item, she would probably be told on, and in place, Yoona would be praised by the director. Thats how it had always been around here with the others. On the other hand, saying she loves music wouldn't make Yoona guess that she was the owner of an mp3 player.

"I love music".
"I've listened to that before. You can say I miss it. Its too quiet here. But I'm lucky to share a room with someone kind."

Kind? Yuri clearly felt that she was making her feel uncomfortable, and here she was being complimented as kind? well it was quite true if she wanted to compare sharing rooms with some of the worst people here, who would have probably smashed her face already for asking so many questions.

"Goodnight Yuri".

It was the first time that Yuri recieved such formal greeting.

"Goodnight Yoona" was her reply.

The darkness of the room is hiding Yoona's smile.

The following days are no different to all the other days; armed by javelins with a pick at the end to stab rubbish and to help them restart clearing floors. Sometimes Yuri feels like she was picking up things from the day before. As if they had spread on the ground what they had already tidied just to make sure their full days were occupied with something to do. The only altered part of the day were Yoona's questions which accompanied the chores she never lets go of. Once they are back in their room, her incessant questions continue to be asked. Was she this interesting? It doesn't bother Yuri anymore. Actually, its Yuri who starts talking. It seems like she was finally enjoying the regular exchanges Yoona and herself made and when they weren't talking, she felt a lack of livelyhood and communication. The problem is that now shes use to this, her dependence has grown and if ever those exchanges were to stop, she would feel lost. On the other hand, she would be free for a year or more but this is less true for Yoona who had arrived not so long ago. It would mean being alone, again. Yuri could feel herself hoping to stay longer around the younger girl and since no matter what she thought, Yuri knew she liked her even if it was only a little bit -its enough to make her suffer with her absence.

[...]

Once again whilst they were working today, a guard passes by like a sergeant, hand behind back in order to check if everyone was doing their jobs correctly. Yoona straightens up and looks at Yuri as a mischievous smile graces her lips.

"Come"
"Why?"
"I said come".

The older lets the latter drag her behind one of the buildings. Yoona checks if the coast is clear then takes out a cigarette and lighter from her pocket.

"What the heck are you doing with that?!"
"I took it from the director's office"
replied a smirking Yoona.
"Do you know what we risk if they catch us?"
"Come onnnn, you're no fun. You're too strict. Its just a cigarette. It could have been worse"
"If you knew why I'm here, you wouldn't say that I was too strict"
"Tell me then".

Yuri suddenly stops and turns away.

"I don't want to".

She's especially afraid that the younger girl would see her differently if she told her. No, she shouldn't ever know...

"As you wish".

She lights up the thin stick of nicotine and brings it down to her lips to drag in the contents before turning to face the brunette.

"Want some?"

Yuri grabs the cigarette attempting to copy her. She coughs as the smoke fills her lungs making Yoona laugh sending Yuri to hand it back to the younger girl.

"Thats Filthy"
"Nope, its just you who doesn't like it".

She sticks her tongue out at Yuri before taking another drag.

"You're not at all who I thought you were" states Yuri.
"What do you mean?"
"The first time I saw you, I wondered why you were here, you seemed so..."
"Angelic?"
Yoona finishes the sentance.

The younger girl still has the same smile on her lips.

"Thats it"
"People often tell me that"
"Who?"
"Why do you want to know?"

She really likes to tease the taller girl.

"J-just to know..."
"Boys"
specified Yoona.
"Oh... so I see..."

Yuri didn't really know how to feel but it was like having a knot made deep inside her; a really unpleasant feeling.

"Are you alright?" asks Yoona.
"Not really. I feel... weird. We should get going until the guard comes to check on us soon".

Yoona nods and scratches the cigarette on the wall to put it out before putting the lighter back in her pocket.
On their way back, Yuri softly nudges Yoona's elbow with her own.

"You know, you're crazier than me".
"I know"
replies the proud younger girl.

She's smiling as she answers; a timid smile that slightly shows off her inner teeth by moving the corner of her lip only; a smile which makes Yuri's heart jump in her chest.

[...]

Winter came a little faster this year and its the first one Yoona is going through at the center. She will quickly understand that the heater is an option here. Working is now a real chore, even if it already was. But to work under the sun is clearly better than when you work at -10°C. Even in their rooms, the occupiers have to wear scarves and sweatshirts to survive at the peak of winter. The cafeteria is like a freezing storage room. Their paltry blankets were having a hard time fulfilling their jobs at night for sure. Yuri attempts to curl up under hers. She already had lost the feeling in her fingers and toes and anyone could tell that winter this year is particularly cold. She coughs a bit before hearing a noise almost not perceptible; she's gotten use to waking up to little noises when she was at the orphanage. She had stopped counting the times GyuRi had sent one of her team mates down to her room. GyuRi... -she has to put her mind else where and besides, its never good to repeatedly think about the past due to how much regret it brings.
The noise continues behind her back. Yuri attempts to hold her breath so she is able to hear more efficiently; ready to move at the speed of a reflex if need be. A blanket suddenly falls above her. Someone is shaking in her bed. Yuri can feel two arms hugging her waist as their head rests on one of her shoulders. The warm breathing of the youner girl can be felt the nape of the brunette's neck. A shiver travels the full diameter of her body whilst her heart beats faster due to such immense shock.

"Yoona?"
"You won't be too cold like this, I heard you cough, two blankets are better than one. I dont want to be cold either, its a team effort"
she explains quickly.
"Team?"
"Ofcourse we are a team! a YoonYul team! by the way, I have a mission in mind; to get out of here before the end of the month"
"Out? but how?"
Yuri asks blanky.
"We escape ofcourse. See? you're too strict. I dont want to stay here for too long. Its smells and moreover I don't like it. They don't even care about us. The worst that could happen is that they follow us before letting us go and that won't take too long since they're too lazy to move".

Yuri is almost free anyway and doesn't need to go ahead with this. It would be useless... meanwhile, she still wants to follow Yoona.

"How? the only way out is over the pricipal's railings"
"Trust me"
Yoona mutters.

[]

It was almost December and just a few days remained of the month. Yoona had not mentioned anything about her mission since the night she told Yuri, but the brunette perfectly knew that the idea continued to blossom inside the younger girl's mind; she does not let ideas like that slip away so easily. They wouldn't even know where they were going to go, however what mattered the most is finally being outside. Yuri has the most to lose in this situation with the fact she only had a year remaining here, but meanwhile, what she fears more than losing her freedom is losing Yoona. She fears feeling dependent on Yoona when she will leave; thats why she plans to follow her -she has nothing to do anyway; no where to go, nobody to go to. Both of them lie down to sleep for the night.

In the middle of the night, Yoona awakens and slightly nudges the elder girl's arm in attempt to bring her back to conciousness from sleep.

"We're leaving".

Yuri nods then stands up to pick up her prepared bag from a few days back.

"We need money" states Yoona.
"Where do you think we'll find that?"

The usual mischievous smile had crept up onto Yoona's face once again.

"Follow me".

Yuri does as she is told and follows the younger girl to the corridoor plunged out by the darkness of the night. She needs a few minutes till her eyes can adjust to the obscurity around them. They reach a door well familiarised by Yuri.

"The director's office?! Are you crazy?!" she shouts in hushed tones.

The latter puts her hand to Yuri's mouth before whispering a "shhh" in return as reply.
Yoona then takes out a pin she will shortly put to use.

"I think you've seen to many movies" mutters Yuri.

Yoona leans on the keyhold and slides the small piece of metal into it.

"You don't know why I'm here either"

She smirks hearing the noise she expected. She pushes the handle smiling as the door reveals whats behind it.
They enter inside and push the door leaving a gap against the frame to disguise the fact that they were in the room then start to search between desks until Yoona discovers a locked drawer.

"Bingo" chants Yoona observing it.

She uses her pin again.

"Yuri, look out into the corridoor incase anyone is coming".

The brunette girl walks to the door and slips her head until it is hanging outside through the opening of the doorway whilst the latter attempts to open the drawer. The silence over-rules the very sinuous guts of the center until a footstep can be heard; the noise resonating through the thin walls.

"Someone is coming! Hurry up!"
"I'm working as fast as I can".

She is still moving the pin in the keyhole. The footsteps grow louder and louder until a silhouette emerges from the dark. The tall and large figure that it is, Yuri instantly recognises.

"The director is here!"
"Almost..."

The man continues to approach them and inexorably, in a few seconds he will be standing at the foot of the doorway. A clicking sound can be heard behind Yuri. The brunette turns to face Yoona who was successfully holding a wallet which she then props in her bag. The door opens but both girls had already made it outside via the window -they can hear the man gasp in shock when he notices his door was unlocked.

The younger girl points to a diminutive building of some-sort besides the railings.

"Against the wall" orders Yoona.

She sticks her back to the frozen lining and slowly progresses to reach the installation before signalling to Yuri to join her. Looking through the window was obvious that the guard was still asleep.

They open the door quietly.

Yoona conscientiously moves her hand in front of the guard to test the depth of trance he is in. She turns the door which creakes slightly and at that moment, she deeply fears that the Cerberus will be awaken but luckily was too deep in sleep for this to occur.

"We have to go".

They are just about to leave when the alarm suddenly chimes out at its loudest.

This time, it isn't to announce dinner.

The director was probably not too impressed to find his drawers had been emptied. The guard rushes frantically about having heard the signal ring.

"Hurry up!" shouts Yoona.

She hurriedly grabs Yuri's arms and pulls her outside. The guard finds it hard to comprehend what is going on but nonetheless, pulls close the doorway with a control after seeing it snatch open. The girls narrowly pass it but successfully manage their escape within seconds to spare.
Behind their backs, guards could be seen being blocked by the harsh-closing doorway.

"Run!"

Yoona is still holding onto Yuri's hand as the latter can't think straight anymore; she's just doing whatever she is led on by -her legs are moving by themselves.
Adrenaline can be felt running the rims of her temple.

"And no matter what they say, it's true
I'm going to the blue"

They leave the path only to throw themselves into the woods which surrounds the center they had just escaped. The doorway is now open; guards, piling out the builing as if to their own escape, whilst armed by flashlights. They are displaying light on the grounds trespassed by the girls. It's harder to track them after they had both penetrated the greenery hell.

"Faster!" Yoona urges.

Yuri hears the boots belonging to their intruders smashing on the ground with each step. With breathless respiration, she starts to get tired from all the running. Yoona still pulls her, her hand holding on, forcing her to keep going. She needs a break, the younger girl can surely tell. They can't continue to run like this. Their stamina is the issue. The younger girl then pulls her elder behind a tree hoping to not be caught. She presses her back against it then pushes her body onto Yuri to make use to the already limited space.Yuri's heart skips a beat; Yoona is close enough as to blend their breathing. Their intruders arrived; they stop and check around them clutching onto their flashlights. The trunk is big enough to hide both of the girls. They hold their breaths. It doesn't take long before the intruders restart to run without knowing where they were. They are ok now. Yoona leaves her hiding spot with Yuri and leaves to the opposite direction. They begin to run within the first few meters then start to walk when they realise running was useless. They make their way back to the path. Yoona lets out a shout due to a freedom she takes back.  Yuri wishes to do the same but she doesn't, she's too withdrawn into it and busy admiring the other girl's success at victory. Yoona runs for a little while; just a few meters more far than Yuri and as Yuri reaches her, she starts again, her laughing filling the emptiness of the mundane night. She brings life to where there is temporary death; the one relating to sleep, the one which vanishes when the sun scorns the landscape with his sunlight. Sadly, the death that Yuri caused some years ago won't leave her mind. She dismisses this and looks at the younger girl again and the more she looks at her sparkling eyes so drunk with freedom, the more she convinces herself that what she feels is more than friendship. Its something else, something stronger. She is unable to say exactly what it is yet its something special. Yoona waits for Yuri one more time but unlike before she stops when the brunette reaches her. She begins to slide her warm hand onto Yuri's which is freezing whilst she warms it up. Yuri's heart begins to burn too; from a transcendent fire lit by the glowing embers of Yoona's action. She loves feeling her hand in hers. She loves not feeling alone anymore. She loves Yoona's smile, she loves feeling her heart beat at its fastest pace ever experienced.

"See! Nothing's too complicated for the YoonYul team!" shouts Yoona triumphantly.

Both of them continue to walk along the narrow path which shortly passes a large farm. There is a barn further down the garden. They cross to reach an old and deteriorating building to discover the doors were already open. In order to be protected from the harsh wind, they enter, walking to the wall to rest their backs. Luckily they are hidden in a safe place; behind some ancient furniture incase of any trespassers. Yuri is the first to take pleasure in leaning her back against the wall; she is shivering. Yoona s her bag and takes out a stolen blanket to cover her elder then continues to also rest her back on the wall; sliding down besides Yuri and shuffling underneath the blanket's interior which isn't very effective when it comes to warmth. Yoona unties the scarf around her neck and ties it around Yuri's in order for the two to share as the younger leans her head onto Yuri's shoulder. Again, there's the feeling of her chest exploding, a cardiac bomb, an emotional assault. Yuri rests her cheek onto Yoona's head. Her silky hair has a pleasant texture. Soon enough her breathing, regular and peaceful, can be seen moving her rib cage up and down slowly in time with every breath take. Yuri shuffles backward and glances at the angelic face she would describe it as. Nonetheless, the younger girl did look like an angel with eyes shut in unison, and thats what she was; the angel who helped her escape the rat-hole full of scumb. She is the one who taught her how to communicate. She leans back onto her, her lips brushing mildly accross the surface of her forehead. Yoona is as sweet outside as she is inside. She could stay like this forever. Finally, Yuri's eyes closes by themselves.

"What am I doing here?"

Her head hurts. Everything is strangely big, excessively huge even. Chairs, tables, the couch...she feels small. And what is she doing walking on all fours? she looks around more. Her hands; they are so petite; it belongs to a child; almost a baby's. The floor starts to tremble as she turns her head and glances at a woman with brunette hair; tall; perhaps, too tall. She can only see her back until the latter turns to her and then she saw her, she recognizes her own mother. She is approaching her; a somewhat evil smile stuck to her lips. Desperately, the child tries to stand on two feet but to no avail, fails this simple task. It is then decided to crawl with as much might as she can. But what can she do?

Her is the size of a giant. Each of her steps is the equivalence to ten of Yuri's. She has the option to hide under the coffee table due to her perfectly compact size whom her body fits perfectly under. Half of her body is already underneath before she feels someone pulling her outside of her comfort zone. She is then lifted high above the floor only to see a carnivorous smile belonging to no one other than her mother. She can feel the fear and anxiety build up in . She tries to scream and somebody responds by helping, but the only thing that escapes from are cries; the holler of a brutalized baby.

"You never shut the up right?"

Little by little, she begins to feel the vise around her releasing. Her mother's hands escape the grip of her body,
nothing is catching hold of her through her fall as she falls into the emptiness of the floor appearing far away.

Yuri suddenly awakens with tears in her eyes before letting out a cry; one whom she wasn't able to make a few years ago. Memories are never good, memories only hurt.. especially when they are painful. But when they are good, they only bring nostalgia and regret, they sentence your heart into a blender until nothing is left; even the factor causing the pain. Yuri is only still here today due to her mother's weak guts to complete the work. Yoona shortly awakens also and holds Yuri's tearful face in her slender fingers, pulling it softly to the front of her own. There is infactuation in her eyes as she stares at Yuri.

"Shhh" Yoona's tone is soft in attempt to calm her elder down.

The brunette instantly calms down, her shoulders reaching a to the amount of spasms she was recieveing. Tears stop rolling down her cheeks as the fear is swept away. Yoona hurriedly wipes Yuri's dense cheeks as the tears still captive in her eyes dissapear. She smiles reassuringly at her elder. The silence continues to lurk around the room just as it was before the cry. The only thing that can be heard is the beat almost un-perceptible of Yuri's heart. Nonetheless, the cause of her heavy pounding heart was not because of memory, but because of herself. She stops counting all the times her heart beats faster, all the times it beats because of Yoona's delicate smile, all the times when she wished those winter nights with Yoona's embrace would last forever. Exactly like right in the moment, when she wishes tje hands on her face would never leave her.

"You'll make it if you try"

She feels herself hesitating to kiss her captivated by the smile that graces her thin lips. The latter must think Yuri is insane to stare so intrigued at her -what is more surprising is that she has not reacted yet.

"And you can be capable of anything"

Consequently she has nothing to lose; to live without telling Yoona would be impossible; she could lose her regardless. Yoona slowly releases the touch on Yuri's face. It appears to the older that the pounding from her chest is not only occuring from her own heart. They continue to exchange wary looks. No need for words in this situation for both of them to telepathically communicate. The taller girl extends a hand to clear away a strand of hair hanging loosely from the younger's face by sliding her fingers until she reaches the latter's cheek. Yoona simply gazes to what is happening. Yuri's hand then slowly makes a transition from her hair to her burning cheeks. The younger disguises it with her own hand, closes her eyes and treasures the latter's soft palm whose feeling is pleasant. Yuri's thumb slightly caresses the edge of Yoona's thin lips; gently tracing their contour. She finds herself obsessing with their sweetness in her mind; their tender touch. She desperately feels the need to make her lips meet the latter's as she leans closer towards Yoona until takes care of the rest of the natural reflexes that were overcoming Yuri's body. She begins to close her eyes to help savour every moment, to keep every memory locked within herself of this time lapse. A warm and dense new feeling is taking over during Yoona's cherishable encounter with Yuri's own lips. Yoona slightly parts her lips to welcome the latter into her. Even warmer. The younger girl releases and the sensation comes to a halt. There is no doubt now that her heart isn't the only one with an abnormal beat. Yuri's hand makes a swift transition to Yoona's shoulder, pushing her slightly in order to incite her lying on her back; her look, lost in desire. The brunette lies on top of her, her arms resting on the either side of Yoona's head. Their act is disguised by the thin blanket. Yuri's fingers begin to trace the lining from Yoona's shoulder to the rim of her shirt and un-does her buttons one by one under the latter's heavy breathing. This new experience totally infactuates her to the limit. It is the first time a sensation as sweet as this has hit her. She doesn't really know where to begin, she would wish to posses Yoona entirely now; curious about the new feelings she can bring her, she wants to compare her past to this beautiful present. This is what she hopes. So, she experiments. She rests her burning lips to her chest feeling the skin shivering which shortly accompanies with a whimper. The whimper can compare to throwing embers in a fire that would devour her and the breathing which fans its flames belongs to the younger girl. It is becoming heavier second after second. Yuri leans in, teasing the sensitive area under the latter's ear whom moans again. moves back on the latter's to kiss her, to capture each groan of contentment as to not lose any. Yoona smiles and plays with Yuri's lips, nibbling them gently between her small teeth. Yuri burries her nose into Yoona's neck; it is the best place to savour her reassuring fragrance which ultimately teases her more and as to mark her territory, leaves a hollow red mark in place of . Yoona's arms finally detatch the floor to slide around Yuri's slender wait as she her hips before making a transition to her T-shirt. Her hand finally reaches its destination on top of the older girl's head in order to incite her to not stop. The taller girl swiftly moves onto the collarbone of the younger; her tongue tracing her lips once again. The latter's husky moans satisfy her. A sweet melody is being uttered from the lips of a person she loves, as if they were the last words escaping . She slowly pulls down her trousers. They are almost through the polar cold which stops them from going any further but nothing can control them now. Neither the past's stigmata, neither the present's uncertaintly, neither the future's unknown; they are in a world in which time only stops for themselves. It decides to wait for them for once as it stops; the ineluctable race of the hands around each face. Then we have two people; without a past, nor future, who are only living fully at each fraction of a second in the present. They have no more stories; they are writing one. Yuri's caresses are the calligraphed curves that spread onto the book of her life. A book which is composed of a title with five letters; Y.O.O.N.A. The nib are her fingers which draw lovingly upon the body of the person she desires most. She wants slightly more than a moan. The pleasure is making Yoona's body grow more and more tense. The pleasurable feeling continues to Yuri's delight whenever she brushes the younger girl's smooth skin. Yoona is biting her lips uncontrollably in order to disguise her moans. But why is she doing this? Yuri places her body between Yoona's thighs without letting her lips escape the younger girl's skin, slowly sneaking her reflexing hands onto her inner thighs. Yoona releases a slight scream from being pleasured before arching her back inwards. It is delirious how much the human body is capable of squirming due to too much or too little satisfaction. As soon as something happens upon this matrix; it displays it. Surely Facinating. The younger girl glances to the latter's face and at this moment, the angelic or calm face she once saw was no longer there. She adores the fact that her gestures are because of her. The older girl teases the sweet skin that her extremities meet forcing Yoona to flex outwards as a mischievous smirk travel's the diameter of Yuri's lustful face. She is thinking negatively due to her undying unsatisfaction of the scream; the pleasure it needed to deliver has not met it's yet. What she wants is to clearly hear what the latter feels even if it isn't through speech. Yuri shuffles back hesitantly to look over at Yoona who pants for air. The pleasure is marking her face calmly. She looks back at Yuri's facetious smile. She, by all means, can understand when Yuri vanishes into a field of her own. A new sensation is now overruning her entire body which sends successive waves of too much pleasure around her making her tremble until it can be felt touching her soul. It is similar to hanging on a cliff's edge where the pleasure that Yuri makes her feel is the invisible wall which pushes her closer into the gap. And the closer she is, the deeper she digs her nails into the older girl's shoulders. A sweat bead is seen rolling down her temple in spite of the Siberian coldness whom surrounds them; their thermal bodies contrasting to the air which covers them enough to make their senses turn blind towards it. Yoona is still getting inevitably closer to the "gap" as a few centimeters are the only thing distancing her with fate whilst the invisinble wall continues to push her.her body falling to the freezing ground. Yuri lies besides her, sliding her arms under Yoona's head before resting her forehead against hers. The two of them close their eyes. She pushes back a brown strand of hair behind the latter's ear, stopping her hand on her cheek. Yuri kisses her closed eyelids then delicately pecks her lips softly, brushing her cheeks with her free hand. The younger girl feels content in the brunette girl's reassuring arms; protected from the wilderness. They end up sleeping just the way they intended to before they drift into a soundless slumber with Yoona snuggling close by to Yuri, feeling her body heat emit; their noisy breathing blending into unison; trying to find each other.
