"what is it, hyung? jongin let out a small smirk when he's asking about a medium size box in chanyeol's hand

"none of your business, jongin-ah.."

chanyeol attentively wrapping the square box in blue polka dot paper

"aha, tomorrow is wufan-hyung's birthday, right?

"this is not for him, sorry.." chanyeol's tone sounds cold and in jongin's ears, the younger boy tries to become more careful with his words

"oh, sorry i thought that present was for him, then it's for who?

"my friend who has the same birthday as wufan-hyung's.."

"well, i understand that accident between you and wufan-hyung, i see everyone admires him, he is such a hardworking man, charismatic, has a look like a game character, very tall, friendly, a dork, and he's got a leadership aura.."

"yeah..yeah..i know! he's got nice personality, so what will you give to him, jongin-ah..?"

"i don't know, maybe i'll show him my new dance.."

"you're weird, you cause me to lose concentration, can you go back to sleep? tomorrow morning we have to get up early and attending the party.."

"..aww chanyeol-hyung wants to confess to the exo-m leader and he will get rejected for the second time~.." jongin wiggles his body in girly manner,

"go to sleep KAI, i won't and will never make another mistake" chanyeol is really annoyed with jongin's attitude

" hyung, good luck with your confession.." jongin giggles and pulling the blanket to his head

"i don't love him anymore.. and shut up"

6th November, SM Building

the next morning, everyone is giving their blessing and presents for the handsome and tall man aka wu yi fan, he doesn't stop bowing and thanking to everyone.

jongin shows wufan his new dance steps, and everyone watches in astonishment and they're flooding jong with applause

chanyeol is feeling shy to approach wufan, and he keeps his present behind his back, next to him is baekhyun who notices a strange behavior from his best friend.

"chanyeol-ah, are you okay?

"baek umm..can you give this to wufan-hyung, this is not mine, it's from the shy girl who passed this to me.."

"a polka dot-box? look eccentric..why don't you approach him?  and give this to him?"

"pleasee..do you forget about that accident? wufan-hyung is avoiding me because he still thinks i like him in that way?"

"ookay..."

Baekhyun is rolling his eyes and giving the box easily to wufan,

"thanks.." wufan smiles brightly at the short man, and quickly removes the paper.

"it's not from me.."

wufan stops opening the box and looking at baekhyun who's standing opposites him

"so this box is from who?

" a mysterious girl.."

wufan frowns, "who? " i dunno" then he continues taking out the lid from the box, he smiles when he sees the thing inside "a scarf?"

he grabs the scarf and his eyes are wandering over embroidery in amusement and he notices some words written on the scarf.

"even you don't see me the same way i see you, i always think you are special to me"

chanyeol holds his breath when he's watching the taller man's reaction from far away, what will wufan think about his failed handmade scarf, will he like it? will he think it's weird? winter is coming soon, it's not a bad idea to give a scarf as a birthday present

wufan smiles and happily wearing it around his neck, "hey baek, doesn't it look good on me?"

"yeah, you are now more handsome than you were.."

chanyeol relieves, and a smile curls on his lips.

he keeps standing in the corner, watching his long-time crush wearing his hand-made scarf.

'so wufan-hyung, are you still avoiding chanyeol? 

" it's the only way for not giving him too much hope.."

wufan takes out the scarf and put it back in the box, chanyeol sees it, and the smile's gone from his lips, then he walks away, texting baekhyun to meet him outside.
