The Next Morning
Gets awakened by loud noises coming from outside**
Jeez, it's only 8 a.m. Let me sleep in peace.
........ Never mind, I'm not that tired anyway.
SO.MUCH.NOISE. OH MY GOSH WHAT IS GOING ON OUT THERE?
I walked outside in my pajamas, hair all over my face, and barefoot.
As I stepped out, I saw a massive moving truck, and people carrying furnitures into the house that got sold.
Pffttt, please. BEAST wouldn't move to this neighborhood, it's so... peaceful?
Aahh, Hayoung got all this stupid thoughts in my head. I'll get her for this!
I walked back into my house, and got dressed. I was assuming people were moving in today.
In Korea, it's a 'tradition' to greet the new family with rice cakes to welcome them.
I made myself look better than usual, having a small hope that it is BEAST who is moving in.
I did my hair all pretty, makeup flawless, and even spritzed some perfume on.
... I looked like a China doll. Ggggrrr......
I wiped off some makeup off my face; 2 cm of foundation probably just came off.
I kept my hair the way it was, and walked over to a grocery store near me, and got plenty of rice cake.
Probably enough to feed 6 people... Ugh, who am I kidding? BEAST isn't moving here. Impossible.
I got back to my house, and put the rice cake in a pretty dish. I was attempted to eat it, but I couldn't because they were for BEAST.
Errr, I mean the new family who's moving in.
AT THE NEW FAMILY'S HOUSE
Rings the doorbell**
Is it? Could it be? Was Hayoung right?
Well hello young lady! What do you have in your hand? Wow, are they rice cakes? That's so nice of you. Wanna come in?
I was slightly disappointed at this point. She was a... 55ish year old looking woman. Strage enough, she looked farmiliar...
Actually, I should probably get back home. I live across your street, 2nd one from the left.
Ah, I see! Step in for a minute !
I don't think it's nice to turn such a nice offer down... Meh, why not?
Look! Someone has come to greet our boys.
At this point, I wasn't listening to what she was saying. There were 5 more women sitting on the couch... So much for living on the same street with BEAST.
