I had to let him go

I couldn't leave her like this

"I just don't love you anymore"

The way she told him, he couldn't figure out why. Why did her voice sound like she was lying, why did everything seem so unreal?

"That's not the truth. I know you Miyoung. Did my parents tell you anything?!"

A tear rolled down her cheek.

"Look Kikwang. You're 20. I'm just 16!" She screamed. She was loosing her calmness

"what's wrong with you oppa? You're getting married. And with someone meant for you. AJ, we are not for each other!"

She took a step back, ready to run

"Miyoung, I love you. I will marry you someday"

Kikwang extended his arm pulling her into a hug. 

Tears poured down like water falls

"forget about it oppa. We are not meant to be. You're getting married and maybe now that's the reason, it's better this way than one of us falls out of love"

She kept sobbing on his chest. He pulled her closer, more closer, wrapping his arms tightly and genty

"i don't want to let you go" he said

"but you have to" Miyoung answered pushing him away

"oppa" She said placing a hand on his cheek, gently caressing it "Don't ever forget about me okay?"

Miyoung placed her hands on both sides of his face, pulling him down, giving him a kiss on his forehead.

Kikwang remained frozen gazing at her.

Miyoung politely bowed "annyeonghikaseyo oppa. Saranghae. Mianhae"

she turned her back against him and started to leave.

It was painful, ofcourse, but what is not meant to be, can never be. her tears kept flowing nonstop as she walked away

He didn't even call out for her nor did he ran after Miyoung, but it was better that way. It was better that I left now she thought. It's all better this way. I can't promise not to love again, that would be dumb. That would be against the law of nature. Everybody loves.

Yet in every relationship, there will always be good bye
