Cliche stories:

Kingka doesn't like the girl, girl likes kingka they end up dating.

Kingka likes girl, girl doesn't like the kingka, they end up dating.

Arranged marriages.

Living with my favorite band!!!!!!

Male doesn't like girl, girl likes male, they end up dating.

Girl dresses up as a boy for her brother(or something) and goes to all boy school and her crush thinks shes a guy and almost revels her ies to him etc.

Vampires!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lord I could go on but tbh i'm brain dead but you all know what I mean when I say cliche!

Cliche simply means something that's ... not original to say. Something like.. "oh that's been said because but I'll do it anyways."

Here I googled the definition. So basically the lack of originality and it's boring because it's already been said/used before.

Here's the thing. You can have a story that is cliche and make it a bit more orignal. How you ask ? Well look below~

So how do I fix these mistakes?:

My story idea is cliche but i love the idea, how do i make it more original?; To make things more original adding twists to characters, killing people off, adding diseases, tradegies, and making your characters unlike any others allows your story to be more original than cliche.

What do you suggest to help us have less cliche stories?; Start with the idea of your story and start brain storming. Know what I do? I have the mainnn concept of the story I want to write then think how I want the story to end. After I write those down (i must write them down or I'll forget, yay short term memory) <---- suggest you write it down too | anyways after you write or brainstorm the main concept and the ending -ie. who is getting with who, who might die, who will become enemies/friends, then start thinking about the gooey-ness thats inside. The stuff leading up to the then down to the ending. Typically when you have all these great ideas you can branch off those ideas and the more original your story can be as well as help you avoid writers block. It'll help you start up new ideas once you write down those new drama scenes you want to make sure to incorruprate into your story!

How do I make up ideas that aren't cliche then?; that's a hard question to answer mainly because even though you may think your idea is so awesome and different that no one else in the world could have ever thought of it! You're wrong. There are 7 billion people out there. What makes you think someone else hasn't thought or writen it? The only advice I give you is to look up at question two, "what do you suggest to help us have less cliche stories" and brainstorm.
