“Two missions accomplished~~” you happily ruffled Luhan’s hair

“Neh. Success. How about us?”

“What do you mean? Do we need some progress? We’re happy and that’s what’s important”

He sighed “You don’t miss me?”

“Of course I miss you. Wae?”

“I just noticed, these past few days, we’ve been too busy planning to fix their relationship and we didn’t have time to date”

You chuckled. “Nampyeon, why should we go for a date if we’re always together? And remember, this is for all of us’ sake”

He just nodded

Luhan’s phone rang

Luhan’s POV
“Set-up, huh?”

“What are you talking about?”

“Don’t pretend to be stupid Luhan. I know you planned all that happened last night”

“What? Last night? What about last night?”

“Aish! Remember this Luhan, I will never stop on taking Hyo Jin away from you” then he hung up

Nerve-wrecking Sehun again. Tss. Just let it pass, anyway, you can’t take her away from me

“Nampyeon?”

“Hmm?”

“Is that Sehun?”

“Yeah”

“What did he say?”

“Hmm. Nonsense”

She remained silent as she tried to reach for me. I went near her and held her hand “Wae?”

“Nampyeon, just stay here” she clung her arms on mine

“We won’t be cupids today?”

“Hmm… Sometimes, Cupids rest. I thought about having a date. What do you think?” I can see in her face that she seems eager to know my answer and I don’t want to disappoint her

“Sure anae. You know I’d love to”

We went to an amusement park.

I don’t care if we received so many looks from people. What’s important is we’re enjoying.

I fastened her seatbelt on the bump car. My face is just inches away from her.

“I love you” I whispered and kissed her lips softly

*bell rang*

I started to drive and bumped all the cars that our blocking our way. “Oh!” I looked at her for a while then a car bumped us. I moved backwards to hit the car

In short, no car will be safe from me. Once you bumped me, be ready for my revenge. And even you don’t bump me, I’ll just bump you *evil grin*

I removed her seatbelt and lead her to the horror house. It doesn’t matter anyway. All she needs to do is to hold tightly.

“Waaah~~! What’s that sound???!!” her hold gets tighter than it was before

“Hey, anae. Here” I pulled out my earphones and connected it with my phone and put it to her ears. “Ssh. Baby, I’m here”

She just nodded

We walked in peace.

We ride other rides and eat. She’s so happy and I’m happy seeing her smile. Still the same smile that I loved, still the same her that made me fall in love

We sat on a bench. We talked about funny things. It made her laugh so much and same to me then all of a sudden, she embraced me “I miss seeing your smile” she sniffed.

I caressed her cheek and pressed my lips onto hers. I removed her shades and saw tears flowing. I wiped them using my thumb. “Baby, don’t cry”

She smiled. “I love you so much, nampyeon”

“Wait. Is that Shinyeong and Sehun?” I pointed. “I can’t see them” she replied. “Oh, I’m sorry. But, I think it’s them!!”

“Then, let’s follow them”

I slowly led her to where they are.

Sehun’s POV

“S-Shinyeong?”

“S-Sehun?”

 I saw her at the amusement park walking alone

“Hello” I waved. I shouldn’t feel this in front of her. Remember Sehun that you don’t love her anymore!

“U-Ugh. Hello” she smiled awkwardly

I cleared my throat “So maybe, we can discuss about some… things?”

“Sure. About what?”

“About the past”

“Nice idea. Maybe we should grab some snacks while talking about that”

We bought cotton candy and sat on a bench near the carousel

“Shinyeong, I just want to tell you that the past doesn’t matter anymore.” I looked at her at the side of my eyes, she’s smiling “We should move on already because past is past” I faced her. “Forget about how I loved you before and act like you don’t know me, araseo?”

“Boys will always be boys. Let someone fall in love for you, huh? Then afterwards torn her heart into pieces? Do you think it’s worth it?!”

“YES, IT IS! You’re the first one who tore my heart! Now, let me tear yours!”

She started to cry “Can’t you understand that it wasn’t meant to happen. I already explained that to you! Why can’t you get it?” she held on the bench tightly

“Because I don’t want to fall on your trap again. We’re officially over”

“NO” she held my arm

“I still love you Sehun, please forgive me about everything”

“Forgive you?! Do you think that’s easy?! I don’t know, but it’s just too hard to forget everything you’ve done” I unlocked her hold

“Please Sehun. I’m sorry” I heard her pleading while sobbing

I swallowed hard “No Shinyeong. No”

I ran away and headed back home

Luhan’s POV

Bad ! I can tell that she still love Shinyeong but that pride is pretty too high

“Stupid Sehun!” Hyo Jin shouted that made Sehun turn to us

“Why are you here?!”

“Are we restricted to go here and have a date?”

“Tss” he walked away

“Do we need to act Cupids again?”

“No. Let them decide on what to happen. Sehun, he will soon realize that he can’t lose Shinyeong”

I looked at Shinyeong who’s still crying on the bench. I sighed.”Shall we comfort her?”

“She needs space. Let’s go” she heaved a sigh as I carried her on my back

We’re currently sitting on the couch with her legs resting on my thighs and her hands holding mine

I switched the television on and the news suddenly appeared

“Breaking News.

A girl’s body was found floating a river near the market just a while ago. The fishermen stated “We found her body floating around while we are resting on the boat. We also found her belongings inside a waterproof bag” Her name was Kim Shinyeong and now she’s in a critical condition. In case you’re a friend or relative, she’s in **** hospital.—“ I turned the TV off

“Kaja” I held her hand and headed to the hospital

I saw Sehun walking back and forth while facepalming himself. “Ugh! Don’t tell me I sinned once more!”

“If she dies, I can’t forgive myself for all the sins I’ve done. If she dies, I’ll admit the true story to… them and let myself suffer in jail”

“What are you talking about?” I asked while I put my hands on his shoulder

“N-Nothing! I-It’s none o-of your b-business!”

“Why are you stuttering?”

“Don’t mind me”

“Hmm. By the way, I see that you’re too concerned with Shinyeong” I ruffled his hair “Good job, bro. We’ll leave”

He just gave me a poker face then we left

“Nampyeon… I’m really worried about Shinyeong. I want to know what happened to her”

“Hmm… No one can tell. Let Sehun take care of it, ok?”

“Uhm… Ok” she hesitatingly said as she rode on my back

I hope Sehun will realize Shinyeong’s importance especially now that something came up

That pride…. I hope it’ll disappear and remove the barriers

I just hope for the best…
