After the succsess of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, SDN48, Nogizaka46, HKT48, JKT48, SNH48 and TPE48 . Aki-P as the producer of those girl groups decided to debut a koren sister group of AKB48, This is :

SEO48 will promoting AKB48's Songs in  Korean and of course they will perform in South Korea. The producer working with South Korea's biggest talent agencies such as, SM Entertainment and LOEN Entertainment. Their 1st Generation Member will have 20 members. Just like their sister, they have their own theatre in Hongdae.
