Ever since Haejin Jung was a little girl, she had a dream: to be a dancer, and to be a good one.

It was her passion in life. She had grown up surrounded by unhappy people, living as business partners or lawyers, or doctors or surgeons. All of them were unhappy.

So, Haejin thought, "Why not do something I love and get the most out of it?" And thus she travelled down the road to her personal success.

However, her family had different plans for their daughter

Her family replaced her biggest dream with their own to fulfill their duties as "good parents", ensuring that Haejin would be successful and important in life, not caring whatsoever of their daughter's opinion. They had an image to uphold as one of the wealthiest pairs in Seoul.

They were determined to do the same for their daughter. 

Haejin became cold, and heartless, and with a plastic smile moved on with life with all the other lemmings, thinking her life of happiness was over...

Until she met him.

The boy who turned her life around.

Jung Haejin. Almost 17 years old, she has a bright future carved out for her... literally carved out for her. She enjoyed dancing and music, but her parents forbade it, telling her she was no good, that she couldn't become successful. She lost control of her emotions after that, as they became a tangle of feelings that she could not express any longer. She appears to be okay, accentuated with a pair of ice-cold eyes and a plastic grin, but on the inside, she's a crumbling wall that she can't repair. 

Enter Kim Jongin, A.K.A. Kai. Kai is in the same class as Haejin. Wins the heart of almost every girl in his school, and is very friendly and popular. He decides to get to know Haejin, sensing her passion for dancing. Socializes with only a select group of people, and they call themselves EXO. He dances his heart out, shamelessly living his dream.

Kim Miyoung, Haejin's close, bubbly friend. Always in a good mood and knows how to cheer people up. Has a passion for learning and wants to excel and impress people; she wants to use her ability to make people feel better.

And EXO, of course; a group of friends who love music. and are very musically talented. Consists of 12 boys, Kai included.
