You could feel the bitterness in your mouth.

How the aura tasted and felt.

Everything felt real for a second.

To hear those words was like getting stung by a bee.

It’s too late now.

He’s already fading away.

You felt unloved and unwanted at this moment.

Listening to sad songs was the only cure.

You promised yourself that you’d move on.

But, the memory of him was all still replaying in your head.

Just at that moment, your mum knocked your door.

“I got this from the mailbox. I think it’s yours” she said as she passed you the neatly folded letter.

“From: America   To: You” you read aloud.

You slowly peeled out the contents.

-          Hi, do you still remember me? Do you still love me? How are you? –

It was from him.

You knew it was. You could tell by his scrawny yet cute writing.

You continued reading.

-          I miss you. I miss walking with you, talking with you. I miss making you smile. I miss looking into your eyes. I miss cuddling with you. I miss your hugs. I miss your kisses. I miss everything. Within those 11 months that we’ve been together, I just wanted to say that you made me really happy. I’m sorry for saying those terrible things to you. I really didn’t mean them. You really mean the world to me. Without you, I wouldn’t have felt love. And when you get this I won’t be here anymore. I’m suffering from cancer. -

At that exact moment tears began to fall.
