Flying Helicopter
Description
"Sungyeol, I'm sorry I broke your helicopter."
"Sungyeol, I'm sorry I said that I didn't want to be your friend anymore. I lied."
"Sungyeol, I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye to you before you left."
For the fourth time that week, Myungsoo dialed an unused number, hoping that Sungyeol would pick up, knowing that he wouldn't.
"The number you've dialed is unavailable, please leave a message after the tone."
"Sungyeol, I miss you."
Foreword
Have you ever felt jealous when your best friends spent more time with others? Had that weird feeling watching your best friends with someone you didn't know? That was exactly how Myungsoo felt when Sungyeol began spending more time with the rich kids who just moved into town rather than with him, and he didn't like it one bit.
"Is Sungyeol around?" Myungsoo asked as he stood at the door in anticipation, holding a beach ball in one hand.
"He's out with Woohyun and Sunggyu. I heard that they're going to this newly-opened toy shop."
Myungsoo squeezed out a smile and said, "Oh I see. Thanks auntie."
It was the third consecutive day something like that had happened.
As he walked away, Myungsoo scoffed, "Who am I kidding? Maybe he only made friends with me because he had no choice. Maybe he's my best friend, but I am not his. Maybe-"
He choked and then realised that he was sobbing.
After some time, things still didn't return to the same as before - before those kids came and snatched away Sungyeol, his one and only best friend. He cried, he flared up and he refused to speak to Sungyeol.
But after it all, Sungyeol is still his best friend.
A/N: Absolutely no . Just pure friendship :)
This is an entry for The Sky Is The Limit writing contest :D
