The practice room was almost empty. Everyone had left to find some form of relaxation. Everyone except Yesung. He couldn’t help but feel like staying there, alone, forever. The recent events have created a huge wave of confusion and for him, it is too much to bear. He would love nothing more than to say that he had nothing to do with it. But here he was, stricken with guilt, unable to move, unable to think. His thoughts were interrupted by a man who came looking for him.
         “Hyung?” It was Siwon, his best friend, almost like a real brother. “Hyung, you said you’d be downstairs in a minute, but 15 minutes have gone! What are you doing here?” His tone full of concern.
-“No-nothing Siwon-ah, just…*biting his lips*…nothing”

-*again asking concerned* “Hyung, you ok?” *Yesung nodded* “Come downstairs. Everyone’s having Gelatin! Kyu and I got Black current and he wants you to try it with us!” *Siwon smiled like a 5yr old*
After a long pause, Yesung looked at his best friend, the man who has shared his every emotions with him; The man who trusts so much in his ‘hyung’. It’s time, the hyung trusted in him too. “Is Kangin there, Siwon-ah?”

-“Of course he’s there! He’s been trying to tell me to sit away from Kyu!” He added darkly, “even though he says he meant it jokingly, I don’t think so”, he pouted, gaining a small chuckle from his hyung. All became quite, while Yesung stared at the floor and Siwon couldn’t help but look at the older man, who seemed to be in a mess. “Hyung, is everything alright?”

-*still looking at the floor*

-“Hyung!” Siwon couldn’t bear it any longer. The older man had something going on and he needs to know it right now.

-“Siwon-ah… it was supposed to be just a stupid plan…” The sentence catching Siwon off-guard. Yesung looked up to his adresser. “Just a plan and nothing else…”

-“What are you saying? Of course it was a plan..” Siwon trying cautiously to calculate the situation at hand.

-“Then why did everything go wrong?” Ok, this sounds really bad, and the younger man could just feel it. “I mean, this was supposed to be about keeping him away from Kyu…But he was already away for 2 years; you have Kyu and everything…What was the need to do all this?” The tone was so sad, Siwon could actually feel it, and somewhere down the line, he also felt a pang of guilt.
                   -“Well he’s back now, hyung and he’s trying his best to keep what Kyu and I have, away from the public eyes, but he tends to rather separate us, in order to achieve it. Hence we need this plan to go on, right?” all the while, Yesung was looking at the floor.

-“What if I tell you *he looked up to meet the taller man’s eyes* that this is way harder than it was before?” Complete silence from the taller man’s end. “Things have gotten much harder, Siwon-ah…I dunno what to do…”

-“Hyung, is something wrong?” Siwon panicked as Yesung seemed to be on the verge of tears.

-“Siwon-ah, I’m in trouble…*sharp intake of breath before continuing* I’ve fallen in love with him” He closed his eyes while the other one’s eyes almost popped out. “WHAT?”

-“Yeah…these two years, I kept thinking of him and now that he’s here, my world has flipped completely.”

-“But, you’re not….gay.” Siwon couldn’t help but feel a sudden deja-vu taking place. He remembered the time when he came out to his hyung and the latter was shocked to hear it. He tried his best to make his best friend see where this would lead to, but failed to convince him. In the end, he was the one who promised to protect the young boy and help him get the love of his life. Now the shoes have exchanged themselves somehow.

-“I don’t know…and I don’t care. Would you care?” -“Hyung, surely, it’s not about me, but about you. Have you told him?”
-“Heck NO! Why would I tell him? You’re the only one I’ve said this to!”

-“Um, okay…Listen hyung, you’re saying that because you’re lonely. You just need a girlfriend that’s all.” Siwon is unwilling to comprehend. This conversation had happened before but it was the other way around.

-“Siwon, listen! *voice shaking in desperation* now I know exactly how you felt, okay? I don’t think I need a girlfriend now. I need him.” The man in question knew exactly what was going on right then. But that would mean a lot of trouble, for everyone.

-“When did you find out…that you’re…?”

-*after a long silence* “You remember what I used to do, to keep him away from guarding Kyu? *Siwon nodded* I used to hug him, try and talk to him, and even joined SJ-Happy with him… At first it was all great. The plan was working. We never thought what we did was fan-service, cuz what we did, was usually in the dorm. We had become close friends… But that one night, Siwon-ah…That one night changed my life. I never thought we’d end up doing it…Really doing it-“  Yesung could no longer go on.
                     Siwon was panicking now. Somewhere he blamed himself for his hyung’s condition. Neither would he have asked Yesung to keep Kangin busy, nor would that thing have happened. Four people had lost their ity that one night. It was a long time ago.

- “But Yesung hyung, what if he doesn’t remember it? You had said you guys were heavily drunk! You can’t possibly think that had some feelings??”

-“That’s the thing, Siwon-ah! We were drunk, and curious. And I also needed a way to keep him busy so that you and Kyu could have your first time…I know it was inocent, it was supposed to be so…If I can remember the pain and everything, then why can’t he?”  

-“But you didn’t have feelings at that time.”

-“I know but, I kept thinking about it all these years. Without an inch of feelings, how could we end up on bed like that?”

-“But what if he’s not into you?” He tries his best to persuade his hyung.

-“I dunno…I dunno…” The older boy slump his head low.
                      It’s not that being gay was bad, but the fact that being gay in a society which doesn’t look too good upon it, is considered bad. Add to that a mounting crown of Stardom. Both of the boys know full well that the WonKyu issue has to be kept as quiet as possible. Now if Yesung joined, it would be double the trouble. But Siwon also knew his hyung’s feelings. They were as genuine as they come. Thus it was then that he decided…

-“Hyung, are you sure about this?” His hyung nodded to the floor. -“Siwon, I don’t know how to face him.”

-“Um…*exhale of breath* hyung, let’s try our best to make ends meet…” Yesung looked up to Siwon, with an admiration that was never this strong. “You mean it Siwon?”

-“Of course hyung! If you love him, then we must figure out how to proceed.” He continued, “Look, you’ve done so much for me. So I’m gonna try my best to help you. We’re on the same boat.”

-“Siwon…ah! Thanks!” A smile spread on Yesung’s wet face. He knew that the one person in this world who’d understand him, would be his little dongsaeng, his best friend, his Siwon.

-“Let’s go downstairs, okay?” Siwon looked at his hyung one last time. “Hyung..?”  -“hmm?”

-*after a short pause* “I hope for your sake he remembers that night.”

-“I hope so too, Siwon-ah, I hope so too…”

Ga-ah! First ever drabble on my need for 2woon! And Kang’s not even in here! This was mostly YeWon friendship, trying to analyze the future. I promise he’d be here next time! ;)
