1994
Kim Yong Joo (Myungsoo’s father) and Park Yoon Soo (Jihyun’s mother) fell in love. They began dating but due to the discontentment of his father, Yong Joo ended, abruptly, his relationship with Yoon Soo.
Two years later (1996)
Yong Joo and Yoon Soo followed different paths. Both married and of these marriages both obtained only one child. Park Yoon Soo and her husband had Park Jihyun and Kim Yong Joo and his wife had Kim Myungsoo.
No more enduring the distance, Yong Joo and Yoon Soo decided meet. Everything seemed perfect at the time but it all ended in tragedy.
When Yong Joo and Yoon Soo met, decided to run away but in the way of the airport, they had an accident resulting in death of Yong Joo. Yoon Soo survived this accident, but Yoon Soo was kidnapped by Yong Joo's father and she died, that night.
16 years later (2012)
Park Jihyun and Kim Myungsoo met and fell in love, yes, the history repeats but Myungsoo decides that he won’t give up of his love, like his father did.
But when they found out the whole story (that their parents have died due to his grandfather), they decided to end their relationship.
But the history repeats again…
Myungsoo and Jihyun can’t follow their lives and decide to meet, past few months after they separate.
Will it end in tragedy again?
