The Way to Winning Seo Joohyun's Heart

Everything had been normal until they started showing the rebroadcasts of WGM.

It was a normal Saturday night. All of the members, except Seohyun, were free of schedules and the eight of them sat in front of the TV, watching whatever was on at the moment. Free time was rare for them and for such an occasion, they had ordered tons of snacks for the night, ranging from pizza to chicken to Chinese food.

Everyone had been eating normally, cracking jokes and making fun of one another every so often, when suddenly, a rerun episode of Seohyun and Yonghwa's WGM started playing. It was from when the two of them had gone to meet Yonghwa's mother. 

"Look how cute and young Seohyun-ie looked," Hyoyeon remarked with a laugh, as a shot of Seohyun with round glasses on popped up.

"She was such a baby back then," Sooyoung agreed. "Remember when we all freaked out about her going on the show?" 

Jessica rolled her eyes. "Don't remind me. You guys acted like her goddamn mother."

"She was only 20 years old when she filmed the show!" 

From beside the two of them, Tiffany suddenly slammed her can of soda down onto the table. 

"I don't get it."

Silence fell in the room and Taeyeon eyed the other members in confusion, before cautiously probing her with a question. "What's wrong?"

"Why the hell didn't they end up kissing even once!?" She demanded, glaring at the TV, as if that would do much.

Taeyeon raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Yeah, why are so mad?" Sunny added with a snort.

"How are you guys not​ mad!?" Tiffany snapped. "Look at the TV! Why can't Seohyun be more comfortable with Yonghwa-sshi? The KhunToria couple and Adam couple have no trouble kissing or hugging, yet Seohyun always acts weird about it! She's not a teenager going through puberty!"

​"It's a scripted show," Yuri reminded her. "Besides, isn't it obvious that Seohyun would be awkward? She has no experience with men and all of it was new to her. She has her own pace to go at."

 "That's why, our maknae needs to meet a man. She's already 25 years old! I thought her disinterest in men was going away when she started to film WGM with Yonghwa-sshi and speak informally to Jinwoonie, but I was wrong! She still ignores them! Even last year, when we saw Won Bin at the film awards, she was the only one that didn't care! It was THE Won Bin! This is a huge problem, girls! At this rate, Seohyun might just end up with no one!" Tiffany yelled.

"Fany-ah, don't you think you're overreacting-" 

"I am not overreacting! This is serious. We need to get a guy for Seohyun. You guys already know that she'd never pursue a man on her own, so we've gotta find her one! One that all nine of us approve of."

"I suggest Leeteuk-oppa!" Yoona piped up with a sly grin.

"You're joking, right? He's way too old for her and he's already dating someone!" 

"Well, how about Minho?" Taeyeon suggested. "He's good friends with Seohyun."

​Hyoyeon shook her head with a disappointed sigh. "Minho's dating that actress he's working with. Park So-dam or something?"

"Wait!" Sooyoung exclaimed. "Let's do it this way. For the next week, we'll take a look at the men around us and pick the top five men that are most suitable for Seohyun. Then, we'll try to match them up with Seohyun."

Taeyeon and Jessica glanced at each other in alarm, clearly sensing that this didn't sound like the smartest idea. 

"I don't think that's - " Jessica began to speak, but she was cut off.

"That sounds like a good idea!" Hyoyeon agreed, before adding. "And we have to make sure that these guys do have some interest in Seohyun! It can't be some random person, that we're not even sure is trustworthy!"

​Sunny rolled her eyes. "Duh! We don't want to hurt her!"

​While Taeyeon and Jessica looked on helplessly, the other six girls locked gazes and nodded firmly in determination.

"From tomorrow on, we'll be starting our plan to find Seo Joohyun, our maknae, a man!"

​A/N: A Seohyun-centered story! ^^ I haven't decided which pairing will be the final one yet, but I assure you, that there will be lots of SeoKyu, YongSeo, ChangSeo, SeoRi, and SeoHan. This is meant to be a light-hearted, funny, and cute story, so I hope no one takes it too seriously. As you can see from the foreword, SNSD plays a large part in the comedy. Hope you enjoyed reading the summary/foreword and the first chapter will be up sometime tomorrow.
