Chanyeol’s POV

Today was the day I was going to tell him how I felt. I finally worked up the courage and got Kris to set out an outfit for me, which looked good on me. He said it would be a little difficult because I look creepy and lanky and all these other things in pretty much everything. That’s what he said, I don’t believe him though.

“Ok, you look…you look good. Just don’t stuff anything up. Or get food on the clothes.” Kris says as he pats my shoulder softly.

“I-I can do this.” I say with a nod before I leave the room.

 I find Baekhyun sitting by himself slurping at a drink. He looks up at me and smiles brightly, I was a girl – I would be squealing with delight at the attractive guy sitting in front of me.

“I-I uh…Baekhyun I-I was wondering if you’d go out with me?” I ask quickly, my eyes closing as I do. The slurping sounds stop and it’s silent.

“Chanyeol, could you open your eyes?” Baekhyun says; I can hear the amusement in his voice. I do as he says and I look down at him, he’s still sitting there. He stand slowly but I’m still looking down at him, damn my height sometimes.

“Could you repeat what you just asked?” Baekhyun asks and I nod.

“Will-would you go out with me…on a date?” I ask quietly – looking down to the floor and my shiny new shoes, well there Kris’s but still – shiny.

“Yes.” Baekhyun says and I have that feeling, you know that weird feeling as if there were butterflies in your stomach? Yeah that feeling but I’m pretty sure if there were butterflies in your stomach you’d either be in real trouble, dead or they’d be dead.

“I-I…thank you.” I whisper when I look up at his smiling face.

“I was kind of waiting for you to ask. You’re not as subtle as you think you are.” Baekhyun says with a slight chuckle and I feel my face heat up.
