Background information:
This story takes place in modern South Korea but with a twist. It holds roots to the olden world where a monarchy controls the country and a government besides the monarchy does not exist. The technology is up to date and may be advanced. Any forms of genetic engineering is frowned upon, and life is thought to go ahead naturally with no interference e.g. If you catch a lethal disease, you can not use treatment to cure it but use treatments to make it less painful.

Characters:
You (Kang MinHye)
16 years of age. Quite Naive about the true evil in this world. Wants to believe everyone is good.
Princess. Daughter for the King (Kang Taehyuk) and the Queen (Kang Dahae).
Only Child. Social skills are quite awkward. Never attended a real school before.
Kai (Kim Jong In)
18 years of age. Loyal. Intelligent. Quick on his feet.
Guard. His father (Kim Jonghyun) was serves as the royal doctor; serving all within the government.
He diligently studies at the Royal Academy for Guards and is the best student the school has ever had.
King Kang Taehyuk
The King and Minhye's (Your) father.
Some people love him, others hate him.
He is absent in MinHye's life quite a lot
Queen/Lady Kang Dahae
The Queen and Minhye's (Your) mother.
Known for her charity work.
Loving and also caring but just like the King, she is absent quite a lot as well.
EXO
The members of Exo (Both K and M) will appear throughout this story, some will have a very large part, others not so large.
But I have decided to keep all their roles a secret.
Plot:
Being a princess is not an easy job and Minhye knows this all too well.
When the royal palace and family become attacked, there is only one way to keep the Princess safe,
and thats by running and hiding.
Princess Minhye must leave her Princess life behind and be re-born as a normal citizen to keep her cover low.
She is not by herself though, her new guard Kim Jong In is always by her side to protect her.
In this cold cruel world, will they find love even in the darkness?
