Description

Princess Baekha's attempts to learn elementary magic nearly a dozen years later than the usual age become the least of her worries when a talking frog comes along demanding a kiss from her.

This is my entry for the Beyond Infinity Writing Contest, inspired by the fairy tale of The Frog Prince and the contest prompt “Lingering around you, I feel like a beggar” (from the lyrics of Before the Dawn).

Chapter 1: Well that was entertaining. ^^ Yeol has lived up to his name. I can't imagine him speaking formally and being forced to act 'princely'. Also, I think I'm really enjoying how you name your OCs. The name always melds in well with the rest of the story.

Chapter 1: I guess I'm going to make you aware of everything I've read as a ghost. This is another. I love our sassy prince and princess and absolutely still cringe when I think about the real Princess and the Frog. (Throw the frog prince against the wall for transformation? The princess was terrible!)

Chapter 1: This was such a fun and light-hearted read! The fairy tale elements were recognizable, but in no way a constraint on your retelling. The spin with the princess doing magic and the details of Sunggyu's potentially bloody magic tower were just >u< (because what was he conjuring with THAT? LOL) Also Sungyeol taunting the witch, LOL, sounds exactly like something he'd do! The un-princely/princess-y (shall we pretend that's an actual word OuO;;) pair is simply perfect for each other!

It's good.. I laughed how Sungyeol croaked/yelled at Baekha that he was a human. I like Baekha's personality, it was realistic and unique enough for a female lead. I noticed she got close with frog Sungyeol little by little and the part she agreed for the kiss was quite surprising. I wouldn't mind who the male lead in this story since it is pretty fun reading. Good job! :)
