She smiled as she watched them perform. She was watching them from backstage. She would miss to take a breath but she would never miss his important days and he would never feel confident without seeing her in the morning. They were best friends since they were in diapers. They were known as connected through hips.

They gave their goodbye speech and ended the concert with last song and waved good bye at their fans. He flashed a y smile. She grinned as well backstage. She
loved his smile and his face that looked y and baby like at the same time.
He jumped off the steps wrapping his arms around her.

"Katherine we did it again." he lifted her and twirled her around. She laughed at his
reaction.

"You deserve it Ji" she gave him a small kiss on his cheek. He put her down and
she hugged rest of Big Bang members.

"So the night calls for the Celebration" Seungri and GD said it together and
high fived.

Rest of the members and Katherine looked at each other in horror. Celebration mean
party at the club which meant drinking that always resulted in horrible GD and
Seungri.

"No I think we should go home" TOP said and Katherine nodded.

"Jeez you ers let's rock the night" GD pulled Katherine with him as he
grabbed her wrist

She sighed in defeat she knew like everyone else that there was no way out of this.
She drove them to club in GD's SUV. He bought it for Katherine and Himself, as Katherine always loved cars like that as in GD's words 'She watched too much Crime Dramas'
She stopped in front of the Fancy 'Black Thorn' Club.

She always disapproved GD's visits to clubs, because he would always be surrounded
by girls which highly set her on edge, she would be on the verge of explosion.
Jealousy would erupt in her. Yes she did fall in love with GD long ago
when he wasn't G-Dragon but Just Kwon Jiyong a carefree and rebellious person.
They entered and as she expected the first thing he did was to drink. He had no
idea how much it irritated her. She went and stood by Bom.

"God someone should put limits on his 24/ 7 marathon running Brain" Katherine
complained to her.

Bom just laughed and hugged Her "Calm down let him celebrate he gotta feel the
victory"

"I feel less like a best friend more of a baby sitter" She asked for a glass
of water "Baby sitting a 23 year old"

The bartender gave her glass of water. "Thanks" she mumbled as she took a
sip she spotted him with a girl. She almost spit out the water "Look!!!
How he is grinding his with her"

"Nah" Bom took a sip from her drink "Technically she is grinding her against
his junior"

"Really funny Bom" she rolled her eyes

As much as it sounded cliché or Novel type best friend love tale it wasn't like that in
fact it was painful. Watching him be with other girls put her heart on fire.
But something that was fairytale-d or Novel type in her life was the friendship
that they had. She wasn't going to lose him just for her heart, nor for herself
but for him. She knew she can't leave him until he needs her no more and in
these 23 years of their lives that day hasn't come, YET. She knew one day she
won't be needed and she was prepared for that they. It was bound to happen she
was a normal citizen whose life wasn't known by more than few hundred people
while he was world known star. Millions of people loved him and he was an
inspiration to all those people out there in world but she was just a high
school teacher, who tried to build dreams for seniors, with them and in those
approximately 500 hundred seniors every year more than half wouldn't even
remember her on the other side G-Dragon was a name, a brand, and most of all he
was a dream that everyone dreamt of.

She sighed and just waited there or most likely killing time with Bom and Taeyang.
These were the people she was really closed to and were the only people who
knew her secret.

"He’ll realize someday" Taeyang said as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"I agree" Bom said.

Both of them trying to give her hope, but as she looked right into their eyes. The
words didn't mean anything more. They knew it was just a lie. GD was drifting
apart from her and soon she was coming close to her decision of departing from
his life. A painful silence pierced their heart even though the club was
shaking with beats.

Taeyang couldn't imagine Big Bang without care of Katherine. She has been with them as long as GD has been there. She was like an off screen member of Big Bang.

Bom was scared to lose a sister. Someone whom she relied on someone who was there for her every time she needed.

Katherine was less like a friend but more like personality shifter. If someone needed a
mother she would care for them like a mother, for some she was a sister, for
some she was a ray of hope in cloudy life.

Bom looked at GD, she thought and for some
she was everything they needed. She looked at Him and sadness covered her
eyes when you realize how much you love
her it'll be too late. Life doesn't give anyone a chance to wait forever; there
is no forever in real life.





Katherine looked at the time and it was time to go. Jiyong was sitting at the bar no to
forget drunk. Katherine took his arm and put it around her to support him,
Taeyang on the other side. He would never get out of club without her being by
his side.

"Isn’t. It. Too. Early. To. Go" he said in slurred voice struggling to speak.

"Shut your mouth and keeping on walking" she glared at him. Rest of the big bang
and 2ne1 followed them.

"Why so serious Pumpkin?" he pouted as they stepped in down basement parking.

"Huh" she looked at him in surprise "You just didn't call me pumpkin"

"I did" he nodded like a kid.

"Leave Tae" she signaled to Taeyang as they let go of him. He fell down on his


"Owww" he whined

"Shut up" she stood in front of him as she crossed her arms on her chest

"Why you acting like a Hitler?" he made baby like expressions

Her eyes widened and everyone snickered. He got up with the help of Daesung

"You just need a mustache there" he tried to touch her but she slapped his hand

"Don't touch me with those filthy hands. God knows what you touched in there"

"You mean who" Seungri said who was also drunk.

"Shut up you too." she glared at

"Get his drunken in car" she said to TOP

"Why you making a scene" GD put his arm around her

"Scene and me... You just called me pumpkin and hitler and I am the One making a
scene" she shook her head and pushed him to Daesung and Taeyang "Get
him in car"

Everyone laughed at their interaction these were the best times. These were the memories that will be forgotten by some but deep engraved in some's heart.

She drove back to dorms. Rest of the four members lived together while GD and Katherine lived together in the apartment next to them. With the help of Taeyang again, she took him to bedroom and thanked Taeyang.

She changed first in her room and then went to Jiyong’s room. She took out his
concert clothes leaving him in his boxers. She hanged them carefully and got a
clean wife beater from his closet and made him wear. She settled him in bed;
fixing the blanket she got up to leave but he grabbed her wrist like always.

"I feel lonely" he said barely opening his eyes.

She sighed and went around getting in the bed on the other side. As soon as she got
in the bed he pulled her in his arms. She felt secured again; he kissed her
forehead and closed his half opened eyes. She snuggled in his arms closing her
eyes, leaving her journey on fate.


A sharp alarm rang through the air on top of that afternoon sun was high up in
sky. She was comfortably in his arms, her head was on his chest and his arms
clasped protectively around her waist.

The alarm didn't stop which meant she had to get up now. She slowly opened her eyes
and rubbed them.

"It’s the phone alarm I set it last night before drinking" he said with his eyes
closed

She sighed and got up to turn it off. When she was searching for the phone she
found something else, GD was in big trouble.

"Turn it off Katherine" he said as he hid his head under the pillow to black the
sound but no reply from Katherine and the alarm was still screaming its life
out.

He rolled over to check Katherine. Yup she was still there but with furious eyes
she was clutching on the cigarette pack that she found in his jacket.

"" he mumbled. Katherine hated smoking and he knew it. "Sorr-"

She threw the pack on his face and left his room, with clear disappointment in her
eyes. She went to kitchen to cook something it kept her away from being angry.

She felt strong arms around her waist, as she closed her eyes and took a breath

"I am sorry" he said as put his head on her shoulder.

She ignored him and kept on cutting the ingredients for the recipe.

"It happened while I was drunk I never smoke intentionally" he said as he
kissed the side of her neck. He always UNINTENTIONALLY touched her or acted
towards her like how people treat their girlfriends. He never knew these were
the moments that made her fall in love with him.

"I am going to go take shower" she whispered and unlock his hands around her.
She was about to walk away but he held her.

"Come on let me enjoy I deserve it" he said

"Did I say anything at all no right." she said seriously "You can do whatever
you want G-Dragon, nothing concerns me"

"it’s just smoking and drinking nothing so fancy Katherine" he shrugged
carelessly

"MY DAD DIED BECAUSE OF SMOKING AND MY MOM IS IN REHAB FOR BEING ALCOHOLIC" she shouted as the painful memories flashed through her mind. She broke down
right at the moment, her face covered in fresh tears.

He pulled her to himself and hid her in his hug. She held him tight and cried on
his chest. He kissed top of her head. He put his hand in her hair and
it gently.

"I am so Sorry it won't happen again and I didn't mean to bring those memories
back." he pulled her away a bit and looked at her "And don't you call
me G-Dragon you know I'll always be Ji for you"

She chuckled lowly "Okay" she whispered and smiled.

He kissed her temple "Go take shower... Ji is going to make you some
breakfast Even though it's after noon."

She nodded "Just don't burn my kitchen" she said left to get freshen up.

He sighed and thought how can he make mistakes by doing such stuff. He promised
himself to never smoke again and to drink just the amount that keeps him up. He
smiled and started preparing food.

She took shower and dressed in a loose t-shirt and pajama pants. As soon as she got
out the bathroom the smell was pretty good. She went to dining table and it was
nicely set. She picked up the note that was there.

Don't start without me.

She laughed and waited for him. He came back from shower and they enjoyed their
breakfast together. As it was Sunday both of them were off and rest of the
members came and they started watching movies. She sat next to him and he
wrapped his arms around her. She looked at him and thought they were perfect
just Jiyong's feelings were missing. With that thought she put her head on his
shoulder and started watching movie.

Everything was totally perfect, Jiyong was lively like always and Katherine was living
with him happily. Until He told her that he has a girlfriend. And it did change
him, ALOT. Not only her but the Big Bang members felt it too. He started to
rush through schedules and as he was dating a model he would try to pull her
in, in every project. He started spending less time with them. As for Katherine
she was practically living alone now, as Jiyong rarely came home. Fear was
enveloping her as she knew she have to let him go. And soon that day came.

She dressed up in pretty White dress; Empire waist beaded prettily with black beads
and put her hair in stylishly messy bun, letting out couple locks of her hair
out. To match up the height of others she wore black high heels. Bom did her makeup
and when she checked Katherine’s finished look she was amazed. If Bom had to
describe her in one word it would be an Angel. All of them were ready to go to
his party. As soon as they reached the venue, her heart beat fastened and suddenly
she had a vibe that something will happen tonight.

She entered the party and guess what his girlfriend was clinging to him. She took a
long breath and went in with Seungri. Seungri put his arm around her waist and
I thanked him.

“The hurt in your eyes is damn Obvious Katherine” He whispered

She looked up to him and he nodded.

“I am just surprised why can’t he see the hurt and love?” Seungri pulled her closer
as they followed rest of the members

“You know?” She asked him surprisingly

“It’s clearly written in your eyes, your eyes are like open book Katherine,” he
kissed her forehead “don’t worry I’ll always be there for you”

“Thank You” She whispered back.

They settled themselves in one of the corner. Jiyong came towards them with his
girlfriend. As soon as he came he left with same pace. He did small hello hi
with everyone and Katherine was the one who got hurt the most because he just
acknowledged her as his roommate. Where is her Kwon Jiyong, Her Best Friend?
She couldn’t find the answer. She was just sitting with Top, Bom and Seungri
when his girlfriend suddenly popped in front of her out of nowhere.

“Katherine right?” She said trying hard to not smack Katherine; it was clear in her voice.

Katherine nodded.

“Well Katherine I’ll keep it simple and clear. GD and I are planning to move in
together and I suggested moving in with him so it would be nice if you move out
of his apartment you know. Now that I am in his life he doesn't need roommate
in his apartment”

TOP was about to say something but Katherine held his hand to stop him.

“That’ll not a problem at all. I’ll move out of there, latest would be until this
weekend.” She smiled even though all she wanted to do was just cry.

She gave Katherine her not so nice smile and sprinted back to Jiyong. Katherine
sighed and closed her eyes.

“What the Frick? That is not his apartment... you bought that and you are staying
there” TOP said sternly

“He is right... you can’t leave that it’s yours” Bom said, agreeing with TOP

“It’s totally fine and I already have Dad’s apartment... and it’s empty so I’ll move
there” Katherine gulped.

She looked at Jiyong and he was making out with her.

“I think I should go” She got up

“I’ll drop you off... or else I’ll beat the crap out of him for acting like that”
Seungri got up too.

She nodded and she said her good byes to everyone.

As soon as she was in car, she broke down... Seungri didn’t say anything and she
was Thankful for that. He came up with her to apartment as soon as She was in
she started packing.

“What are you doing?” he said

“Packing” she Shrugged

“you serious?” he asked sadly

“Yeah!! I don’t want to wallow around here when I could just pack and move” she said and Seungri sighed there was no turning back now Jiyong ruined everything.
Without even realizing that guy was losing his world that day. They packed
everything by the morning she called the moving people and shifted her stuff.
She didn't take anything from there except those things which could help her
remove her trace from that apartment. She took one last look at the apartment
and shed one last tear and placed the car keys on counter. But she took the
house keys as no one used it. They always used the code lock. Keys, the only
thing she took that held their 7 years of memories together of this apartment.

“You should take the car at least” Bom said but she shook her head. She hugged
everyone  and left with Daesung. She went to her dad’s apartment and
Daesung came with her.

“Noona I am going to miss you” He hugged her.

“You can always come over Dae... i just live 30 min away” She smiled

Months went by and her birthday passed she didn’t even contact anyone as she didn’t
want to face Jiyong and the worst thing was that for the first time he forgot
her birthday.


It was regular week day; she got up and got ready for her work day. As she was
eating her breakfast she TV. And as she heard the breaking news she
dropped the glass of orange juice. She dialed Taeyang number. As soon as he
picked the call.

“What's with the news?” She said worriedly

“Thank god you called” Taeyang sighed “He didn't smoke again, he has been trapped in by Jihae, his girlfriend and only her witness can save him. He won't
even come out of the apartment we tried the code but it’s locked”

“I am coming” she said and cut the call

she took the bus and straight went there, calling off from work.

There were so many people in front of the building so she had to take the basement
route to get up. As soon as she got there all of the other members were in
front of his apartment.

“He is not coming out” CL said worriedly said , knocking one last time

“I have the keys, can you guys come a while later”  Katherine said and they
nodded.

She hesitated but opened the door, the apartment was drowned in darkness, she
the lights and the apartment was just the same as she left. She
walked to his room and in dim light he was sitting on floor against his bed.
She walked towards him and sat in front of. He didn't look up. She held his
hands and he looked up.

“I didn't do it” he shook his head “I haven't even touched anything like that
since I promised you.

She nodded. “I know” and pulled him into hug.

He hid his face in crook of her neck and mumbled “I liked her, I trusted her but
she broke me”

she didn't say anything, but just hugged him tightly. They sat like that for a
while and she pulled him up, wiping his tears.

“Come on go shower I’ll cook something, i bet you haven't eaten anything since last
night” she took him to the bathroom and then left to cook. She brought the food
just as he came out of shower. She patted the space next to him and he sat
there. She fed him as he watched her. He hugged her.

“I am so sorry for everything; I have been acting like a jerk towards you lately right?”
Jiyong said.

“Yes” she said as she wrapped his arms around his neck.

“I am sorry” he said... regret clear in his voice.

She nodded.

He laid back on the bed. She got up to take back the dishes, he held her wrist
“Katherine Please stay”

“I am just taking these dishes” she said and smiled. She took the dishes to kitchen
and came back. Jiyong was lying on his back staring at the ceiling.  She
sat next to him.

“She broke my trust and I didn't know what to do. I thought about drinking than I
remembered our promise. I came here after days and then I remembered that you
are not here anymore. I sat here in darkness, I thought I wasn’t going to pull
through it. I thought I lost it all, I thought I lost you. I feel ashamed of
myself when I remember how I treated you. But when you came today there was
something that clicked I knew then that I’ll go through it with you. I realized
I can never go through anything without you in my life. So thank you... Thank
you for being there for me... Thank you for catching me when I am fell.” He
said as he looked up to her.

She smiled and ran her hand through his hair “You never lost me and you’ll never
lose me ever. And Ji you are the best man in my life. Someone I rely on so
never ever go away, I don't have anyone but you Ji. I only have you” She looked
away “I- it was hard to not able to see you in the morning, not able to be the
first one to wish you and the painful thing was that to realize that I wasn’t
important to you anymore. Don’t you dare do anything like this again” she said
as tears brimmed her eyes.

He put his head in her lap and looked at her. “I promise baby I'll never do
anything that’ll hurt you”

she ran her fingers through hair and he clutched her waist hiding his face there,
Closing his he slowly drifted to peaceful world of dreams. She sat there
watching him snore softly.

She heard slow footsteps as she looked up she saw everyone’s worried expressions.

“Is he fine?” Daesung said and she nodded “a bit”

they all sighed.

“We gotta stop this today, we can’t let it get more messy” TOP said

“I have an idea but I don’t know it’s going to work but we can try” Minzy said

“Just spit it out” Daesung encouraged her.



“You ready?” Seungri said it through the earpiece

she took long breath and said “Yes”

Katherine knocked on the door in front of her and waited for the person to open the door. As soon as the door opened she straightened herself

“Katherine” the evil voice said

“Look I am just here to clarify your demands and our conditions, you have few min”
Katherine said

“Fine come in” Jihae moved from the door and let her in “What do you want?”

“That’s my question” Katherine replied “What do you want in order to clarify his name?”

“33% of whatever he makes from every project, I need to be Big Bang model whenever they need one and his girlfriend in front of media” Jihae said crossing her
arms on her chest.

“And if not?” Katherine said confidently, hoping that she would answer like what she
expected and she did.

“There is no other way to save him... I am the criminal here and I am the proof here.
He didn't even touch it. I was the one who planned everything and trapped him
in so you don't fulfill my demands.. pooofff G-Dragon’s career will go down the
drain” Jihae laughed

Katherine gave her tight slap across her face and with that the bell rang. “Well I guess
your uncles are here”

“WHAT?????” Jihae screamed.

Katherine opened the door and the cops came in.

“Ms Jihae you are under arrest” One of the cop said

Katherine smiled “This is how it works darling” she pulled out a mic from her pocket that was connected to the phone of Seungri.

“WHOREEE” Jihae screamed but Katherine just walked out of there smiling.



Jiyong woke up and Katherine wasn’t there he panicked looked for her around the
apartment but she was nowhere to be found. His breath quickened and fear took
over him. What if she left again? What if she’ll never come back he thought.
Tears brimmed his eyes. It took him a whole lot of trouble to just realize his
feelings for her and now she was gone. In 23 years of his life time when he
realized he was truly in love the girl wasn't there. He cried and fell on his
bed.

After an hour he heard the door. He ran outside and saw her closing the door. He
couldn’t believe his eyes. He pulled her to him, crushing her in a hug.

“Ji you ok?” she looked at him shockingly “What happened-” but before she could
complete her sentence

He sealed her words with his lips, feeling her soft lips. He closed her eyes and
let his lips do the work. It took her awhile to register what was happening.
Her heart was speeding up but she was happy. She closed her eyes and returned
the passionate favor. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he pinned her
against the wall.

He pulled away taking a heavy breath. “I told you... you can’t leave... You know
how worried I was I thought you won't come back” He kissed her forehead “I Love
You don’t ever leave me like that”

She smiled between her tears “I Love You too” she said and pulling him into another
kiss feeling the love.

When they parted he asked “Where did you go?”

She took his hand and took him in front of the TV and the TV. The news
was all over of Jihae being arrested and Jiyong’s innocence.

“How” he questioned

“It was Minzy’s idea to record Jihae confessing and I have no idea how did Seungri
included cops in the plan but I went there and pretty much talked to her while
she just confessed without any pain” Katherine smiled

“Thank you” he intertwined his fingers with hers and gave her a peck on her lips

“Thank Minzy” she tapped his nose.

“I Love You Baby” He kissed her

“I Love You more and More Kwon Jiyong” She replied and smiled

“Now let’s go to sleep... I can’t sleep without you” He pulled her in the bedroom as she laughed.

Somewhere along the journey of Friendship and Love they realized their feelings for each other and consoled each other for eternity.
