Bom is quite known to be the goddess of YG University. Many boys took interest in her, but the girl however made it clear that she only have her eyes on one guy.

And that guy happened to be Choi Seung Hyun or also known as Top. Top is quite known to be the quiet, but badass kind of guy. He’s not the ideal guy who you can take to your mommy and daddy. He’s rather the opposite of the Mr. Nice guy like Kwon Jiyong.

“Unnie I just don’t get what you see in Top-ssi,” Chaerin said making the girl smile.

“I mean I’d expect you to like someone like Kwon Jiyong,” Minji added.

“Please, guys like him are playboys,” Bom said.

“Wait?! Look!” Chaerin pointed not from a far from them. “Dara unnie and Jiyong oppa? Since when?”

“Since last week,” Bom answered. “You two didn’t know?”

“So that’s why I’ve never heard from Unnie,” Minji said.

“Hello ladies!” Jiyong greeted.

“Unnie you never told us you like Jiyong oppa?” Chaerin said making Dara blush.

“Have fun, baby,” Jiyong kissed her cheeks making her blush even deeper.

“Thanks I’ll see you later,” Dara said making the guy nod.

Once the guy left the two girls all huddled over Dara asking for information about her and Jiyong while Bom looked a far at the guy who’s under the tree sleeping. She has tried so many things before to get his attention but not once did she get noticed.

“Unnie,” Dara called. “Are you still eyeing on Seung Hyun?”

“I just don’t get it girls,” Bom sigh. “I mean I’ve done everything I could but he hasn’t noticed me at all.”

“I remember when unnie made a scene,” Chaerin tried to hold her laugh. “When she thought she can get him with her charms but in the end he pushed her aside to move out of his way.”

“Oh yea it failed so badly!” Minji burst into a laughter making the eldest mad.

[Flashback]

Bom and the girls were hanging out in their lockers when Bom noticed a new guy in campus. Not once in her life, did she take interest in anyone, but this guy in particular got her curious. She whispered to the girls how she’s interested in the guy.

“Don’t tell me you’ll make a move?” Dara said which only earned a smile from the girl.

“Unnie don’t!” Chaerin eyed the eldest.

“Watch me!” Bom smiled.

Bom winked at the girls and straightened herself. She looked at her target with a huge smile and a lot of confidence in herself. Never in her life did she approach any guy and everyone in campus knows that.

Seung Hyun or also known as Top tried not to sigh seeing a girl approaching him. At that moment he wasn’t interested in anyone since he doesn’t feel the need to have an extra baggage or in this case a girlfriend.

He had moved from a different school because girls in his last campus became attach to him especially his exes. And now that he’s starting anew, there’s already someone threatening his move.

He watched her intently come closer to him and just deal with her once and for all. The girl sure does show so much confidence. Her long orange/blondish locks swayed as she tried to move ily. He wanted to laugh so bad since in his eyes she looked pathetic.

“Hey,” she beamed her wide smile.

Seung Hyun tried to move to the side, but Bom blocked his way. “What’s your name?” she went on.

“Not interested!” he held her shoulder shoving her to the side.

“Yah!” Bom yelled but the guy kept on walking ignoring the girl.

The three girls waiting from their lockers tried not to laugh but couldn’t knowing the girl sure made an impression. Bom tried not to burst into anger since she had her first humiliation ever.

The girls laughed remembering how the guy moved Bom to the side. It was as if she was just a doll. Bom sure felt her anger boil, but somehow she always end up feeling soft when thinking about Seung Hyun.

“How about this one,” Dara said. “Remember when unnie was trying to spy or so she called observing but in the end, she got caught so badly.”

“Yah!” Bom didn’t like how her friends are ganging up on her. “I just happened to be there. I wasn’t spying, stalking or observing.”

“Sure unnie!” Minji laughed which earned a light slap from the eldest.

[Flashback]

Bom had been looking out for Top ever since the day he came in campus. She did everything to get notice but not one thing clicked on the guy. And so she decided to spy on the guy or more like she called observing.

She’s well aware that the guy is currently in his gym class and so are the rest of the boys in his class. The boy’s locker room was empty and so she took her time to look for his locker. Once she found his locker she looked at his stuff finding some sort of evidence what the guy likes.

There she saw the letters, cards and other things she gave him which made the girl smile.

“Glad gym is over!” she heard the boys returning. She looked at her watch and didn’t notice that she has been too occupied in his locker and the things she gave him that she forgot about the time.

She looked at the other lockers and luckily the next one to Seung Hyun’s was empty. With her thin figure, she slipped herself in the locker.

“Oh god what is that smell?” she plug her nose.

“Prof. Jung is sure strict when it comes to working out!” one of the guys said.

“Hey Seung Hyun,” a guy called making Bom listen intently.

“What?” his deep voice answered.

“Are you planning on answering Bom anytime soon?” the guy asked making Bom curious to what his answers will be.

“No why?” Seung Hyun asked making Bom bitter. “You like her?”

“Even if I do say I like her, it’s not like she’ll be mine,” the guy answered. “I just don’t see why you can’t give her a chance?”

“He’s right,” Bom sealed her lips when she suddenly uttered something.

“She’s not my type that’s why,” he said making Bom pout. “She cusses a lot, she puts on too much make-up, and the way she dresses. I don’t like girls who flaunt too much legs, I mean have some poise you know. And last she’s annoying, she always try to get my attention when it’s the wrong time.”

“Bro,” the classmate called. “Many guys here wants Bom, but you get a treat bro!”

“Well I’m sorry to burst you guy’s bubbles but she’ll never be my type,” he said.

“You might eat your words Top!” the classmate laughed.

Bom felt her nose itched and this signal her no good. And realizing her nose is beginning to itch a sneeze had threatened to come. Oh God no! Please! She plugged her nose trying to stop her sneeze, but no luck as her nose itch more.

“Achoo~!” she sneezed making the boys in the locker room stop.

“You heard that?” one said making Top look around.

“Yea,” he answered. “Does someone own this locker here?”

“No, I think it’s no ones,” the classmate answered. “I believe there’s a dead rat there.”

“Dead rat?” she whispered. She moved her feet and she felt something ball and furry. “No.”

Top held the locker’s knob and slowly opened it but with no warning the locker door flew open revealing Bom.

“AHHHHH!” she yelled seeing the locker full of half boys. She quickly looked down and found something white and furry on the lockers floor and her eyes widen some more. “OH MY GOD!! AHHHHH!!!”

She was too frightened that she ended up stumbling on her feet landing on Top’s bare chest. Too scared she didn’t even realize what was happening to her. Top who was not warned fell on the floor and on top of him was Bom.

“You’re enjoying this aren’t you?” he looked at her blankly making the girl stop from moving and realized what just happened. She looked down and found herself on top of his bare chest while the boys surrounded them all shock to what they are seeing.

Top pushed Bom aside making the girl fall to the concrete floor, “Yah!” Bom yelled. “Can you be a little gentle?” Top didn’t utter a word as he put on his shirt back. And once he was fully dressed her pulled Bom by her armn and drag her out of the room.

For sure he didn’t like girls stalking on him and this one is no exception. “Yah!” Bom yelled.

“Can you have a little self respect for yourself?” he yelled freely since the hallway was empty. “How can you just go in the boy’s locker room?! You do know it’s full of boys! What the hell were you thinking?!”

“I was…” Bom bit her lips.

“Just stop!” he said. “Stop all this, and let me get this straight to you, I don’t like you. So stop stalking me. If you care you’d at least care for what I feel!”

Bom gritted her teeth as she tried not to lose her anger. Sure she felt rather insulted, but that’s not it. She’s rather hurt the fact that the guy didn’t even looked at her effort.

“Aren’t you a bit conceited?!” she yelled making the guy confused. “I may have shown my interest to you, but that doesn’t mean I am that desperate. Fine you win! I do like you and I thought that if I get your attention you’d take notice of me. And I’d hope one day you’d appreciate what I’ve done!”

“But for you to talk down on me,” Bom went on trying to hold her tears. “I am not letting you do that! You’re lucky that someone like me takes interest in you. Even if you’re cold and all, I am still interested. You’re not really the boyfriend material but that didn’t matter to me because for the first time I’ve seen you I felt something I didn’t like.”

“Look,” Top tried cutting her but Bom didn’t hold back.

“No you look,” Bom went closer. “For once stop hiding what you feel. I know somehow you feel something for me and you’re scared. But don’t worry everything I’ve done stops here. You’re right I’m pathetic doing all this for you. You know why?”

Top stood still not knowing what to do or say. He felt something hit him and he tried to deny it. He didn’t want to be in a relationship not after what had happened in his past.

“Because I’ve fallen for you,” she let her tears fall. “So no matter how pathetic I look, I don’t care because to me. It’s far more important that I get you to know I exist. I’m just right in front of you and yet you still avoided me but I didn’t care. As long as I get my message to you that I’m here.”

“But don’t worry,” she wiped her tears. “You win! I won’t ever bother you again. But I just hope you don’t hesitate anymore in what you’re feeling for me because I can feel that you and I are meant to be. But as your wish, I will stop what I’m doing for you!”

Top watched her leave and he couldn’t help but shut his eyes. He didn’t want to admit but he’s frustrated at himself for feeling so stupid. And worst for feeling something ache in his heart.

“I can’t believe you gave up just like that?” Dara said.

“Well he pretty much said and showed me that he doesn’t like me,” Bom frowned thinking of what had happened. “I can’t believe I did those stupid things.”

“Well when you love someone, it tends to make you do stupid things,” Dara said making the two other girls nodded. “Look at me I was pretty stupid too that in the end I have him.”

“But that’s different,” Bom whined. “You like Jiyong and he likes you back whereas me, I like him but he doesn’t like me.”

“You never know,” Chaerin said. “Boys like him don’t admit in love until they finally figured they lost the person they love. Maybe you should just move on and see what happens.”

“I wish it was that easy,” she said making the three sigh.

“Whatever happens to you unnie, we’re here for you,” Minji said making the other two nodded in agreement.

Once lunch was done, the four separated as each of their classes are about to begin. Bom walked hopelessly down the hall not minding if she’s late or not.  She looked ahead and thought for a bit that if she walked further, she’ll stumble upon his class, and that if she go up the stairs she’ll hit the rooftop.

“Why is the rooftop sound so enticing right now?” she whispered.

That in the end she went up the stairs towards the rooftop. She opened the door and faintly smiled seeing the place. It sure is peaceful just being up here. Bom walked further not minding if there is someone or not. All she wants is some time alone.

“What took you so long?” she stiffened hearing his voice.

She turned around and found him standing still. His long bangs covering his right eye. Bom’s heart pounded crazily as she looks at him.

“What do you mean?” she was able to utter.

Top moved closer towards Bom making her heart pound even more. Sure, she had missed the way he would yell at her or push her aside. And now that she had successfully ignored him she thought she could handle being in one room with him.

“I was waiting for you to come here,” he said. “I guess you haven’t seen the note I slipped in your locker?”

Bom thought for a bit and sure she saw a note, but since she was in a rush she didn’t get to open it. “I’ve been waiting here since the morning.

“Why didn’t you come and get me?” she asked.

“Because I promise myself that I won’t leave this place until you come,” he explained. “I said it in my note. There are so many things I want to tell you.”

“Don’t Top,” she shook her head. “I think its all clear to me what you said.”

“No listen,” he said moving even closer to him. “I’m sorry for being a jerk to you. There are so many things that are stopping me from being close to you that’s why I’m acting like this.”

“What do you mean?” she asked.

“One is,” he bit his lips thinking whether to say it or not. “I don’t like girls who initiate the move first. When you approached me on my first day, I did get turn off, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like you. I tried to deny it but I always end up thinking how we met.”

“And?” Bom was rather eager to know more about what he feels for her.

“Two,” Top closed their gap. “I don’t like the way you went in the locker room since most of the guys had their eyes on you. I only like a girl whose eyes are on me and no others are eyeing on you. I realize that most guys here in campus like you and that in the end I will never have your attention and so I went on with my act being a jerk.”

“And last,” he brushed her loose locks aside. “I didn’t want to admit I’m in love again when I just moved on. I thought I wasn’t ready for another relationship, until you came. I tried so hard to avoid what I feel that way I don’t get hurt. But then I realized that you’re hurting more than I am.”

“The day you said you’ll stop bothering me,” he looked deep into her eyes. “I thought I lost everything again. The next day I was waiting for you to greet me but nothing greeted me. And that made me feel alone again. Then as it went on, I felt so stupid not to realize what I just let go off. Bom I don’t want to make the same mistake again.”

“Top,” she let her threatening tears fall. She felt so touched with what he had said. And now she felt happy knowing all her effort into getting the guy’s attention was all worth it.

“Bom,” he cupped her cheeks. “Please give me a chance? I know I’ve been a jerk but that’s because I’m so coward to tell you what I feel. I felt so confuse at first that I didn’t know what to do. And then when you started showing your interest I felt my heart beating again. And then the day you started avoiding me I felt…”

He was cut off as Bom shushed him, “So just shut up,” she smiled looking at him lovingly. “And be mine!” she pulled Top’s hand off her cheeks and pulled him down. As she pulls him down, Bom lifted her chin up allowing her lips and his lips to touch one another. It sure shut Top off as he felt Bom’s lips on his.

Bom felt her heart fluttering in joy feeling what she had long for and now that all her effort are all worth there’s no doubt she regrets them all, after all she now have him.

“I’m glad you finally noticed me,” she whispered as she watched Top’s eyes flutter. “And yes, Top I’m willing to give you a chance.”

“Really?” he asked and slowly his face lit up making Bom giggle.

“Yes Seung Hyun,” she smiled genuinely. “I won’t ever back down on this opportunity this time.”

“Good,” Top said. “Because I won’t dare give up this time, I’ll make sure if you said no I’ll chase after you.”

“Why would I make it hard for you and myself,” she pulled his face closer towards her. “If you’re already mine.”

“And you’re mine,” he leaned further down allowing their lips to touch again.
