(^_~) so do enjoy neh for all the TopBom/SpringTempo luvvers!!]

Foreword

Top is known to be one of the most wanted boyfriends in YG University. He is known to be the tall, handsome and quiet guy who never shows any other emotions other than the bored look. Many girls are attracted to his bad boy and cold style and personality.

However not many know that the guy is as soft as a fool when it comes to liking that one particular girl he wish to ask out.

What Makes You Beautiful

Every morning, he’d sit under the big oak tree pretending to be sleeping, but not many know his real intention under that tree. He’d sit under that tree with his shades on but really his eyes is wide open watching across the yard for that one girl he had long to be with be.

“Good morning,” his ears perked up hearing the familiar voice. Then his eyes wondered around the area looking for the soft voice. His heart would beat crazily seeing the girl greet people in the morning.

There are so many things he likes about the girl. One is the way she flips her hair when people would greet her and she would greet back. For some odd reason, he would imagine the way she would flip her hair in slow motion and her surrounding would sparkle as she makes eye contact with others. Two is the way she would put on makeup. Compare to other girls in campus, her makeup is the best as she puts on light to even nothing at all. He’s mesmerized the most when the girl comes to school barefaced. Last is her personality, he loves how playful and strong the girl is. She is no BOMINATOR in campus for no reason, but many like her for being humble and kind-hearted classmate.

“Hi Seung Hyun,” he gave her a grimace look which would make the girl laugh. That’s another thing; he gets attention from her calling him by his real name which he dislikes so much. But then if that’ one way he get to talk to her then he’ll take it.

After the girl had passed him, he smiled faintly thinking how beautiful she is today. Then slowly a frown would form in his lips thinking how he’s such coward when it comes to asking her out or at least be a friend. He’s actually envious of his friends since they get along well with her and her friends.

“Hyung you want to come to the beach party that Jiyong hyung is doing?” he took his shades seeing the maknae.

“What for?” Top asked wondering why his friend would throw a beach party all of a sudden.

“Did you forget already?” Seungri asked. “It’s his birthday hyung and it’s actually Dara noona that’s inviting. She told me to tell you.”

“Ahhh,” he nodded. “Sure!”

“Great!” Seungri smiled. “That’s a good chance for you to ask Bom noona out!”

“Yah!” Top felt offended.

“Hyung let’s face it,” Seungri sat next to Top looking at the yard and seeing Bom across the yard talking to her friends made him laugh for unknown reason.

“Stop staring at Chaerin,” Top teased but that was a bad move for the eldest.

“Hyung,” Seungri turned to face the guy. “I’m serious; I know what it’s like to be in the sideline. You only get to watch from a far since you’re too scared to ask the girl out since you fear to get the answer you wouldn’t want.”

“I don’t know what you mean,” Top wore his shades on again so he can look at Bom across.

“I know so stop denying hyung,” Seungri laughed making the guy angry somehow that he’s bringing such sensitive topic. “Hyung, you may have fooled our other friends, but not me because like you I went through that. I know what it’s like to be scared of asking a girl you like out because of fear of rejection.”

“Please,” he tried to act cool when really the boy sure had hit him hard.

“But sometimes hyung if love between the two of you is destined to be,” he looked at the same place Top is looking at. “You’ll know and feel it. Then in the end you would say I made the right choice. Look at me, I thought Chaerin would never give me a chance but then I guess luck is within my side. So don’t be afraid to be scared of rejection. Like all love, it’s comes with it!”

“Dude I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Top shrugs the thought.

“Look at it this way hyung,” Seungri got up. “I would rather get the rejection now than regret later on that I never even get the chance of asking. If things don’t fall on the answer you wish to get, that doesn’t mean you should give up. And plus this is Bom noona. She’s great friend and I know you two will match together. You need her hyung!”

Once the guy left, Top looked at the girl he sure would like to be with. Ever since he laid his eyes on her, he knew something is different about her. She wasn’t like the other girls he had dated and now that he’s sure to what his intentions are for the girl he got weaker in asking since she is after all well loved in campus.

Top decided to go to Jiyong’s party since he knows that the birthday boy would be disappointed. But other than the birthday, he was looking forward in meeting Bom again. This time he thought about taking risk. Seungri’s words from yesterday sure haunted him that night.

He arrived at the beach at the time Seungri had said and once he got there everyone was already present. Bom had sure caught his eyes right away seeing the girl he’s been eyeing on wearing a yellow summer dress. Her red locks were curled her bangs were put in a neat French braid. He noticed that she also had less makeup making him feel happy to see her beautiful face.

“Good you’re here hyung,” Jiyong greeted the guy.

“Thanks for coming Top,” Dara said who’s right beside Jiyong. “I thought Panda forgot to tell you yesterday.”

“Oh don’t worry I got it on time,” he laughed making the two laugh. “Happy Birthday bro!”

“Thanks,” Jiyong took the gift the guy had. “Go on hyung the foods are there and soon we’ll be doing some games around the fire.”

Top nodded telling the two he got it. And like what his friend said he went straight to the food first. Once he got all the food he wanted, he quickly took a spot around the bonfire.

“Hello Seung Hyun,” he stiffened hearing her. “Glad you made it!”

He turned to the side and just gave the girl a nod but in the inside he scolded himself for being weak.

“You don’t like it when I call you Seung Hyun huh?” she asked making the guy drink his soda. He knows that he must be giving her a cold attitude since he really doesn’t like it when someone calls him by his real name, but to him Bom was the only exception. “I just like your real name than what you use. Seung Hyun seems to fit you more.”

“How so?” he asked hoping not to stutter. The girl giggled hearing him finally talk back.

“Oh I don’t know,” she paused thinking why she likes his real name. “I guess the Seung Hyun has this manly feel to it. And the way you dress and act seems to fit that name well.”

“But other than that,” she smiled at him making the guy’s heart beat double. “I like the name Seung Hyun because you’re the only one I think of when I say it or hear it. It’s a beautiful name.”

Top bowed his head hoping the girl didn’t notice the forming redness in his cheeks. Sure, he hated his name, but hearing the girl next to him compliments it, his hate slowly diminishes thinking it isn’t a bad name after all.

“You know I also hated my name,” Bom said making the guy look back up. He felt hypnotized just by the way Bom is looking at him. “I mean who would name their daughter Bom, which stands for spring. Spring is a beautiful season and I’m nowhere near the beauty of spring. But then I accepted it anyway even if there’s no reason from my parents.”

“I know,” he whispered making Bom curious. “You are beautiful, you just don’t see it. But like anyone else in school, I can see why your name is Bom.”

“Neh?” Bom felt her heart race.

“Because you’re beautiful,” he mumbled not knowing where he’s getting the courage. “What makes your name beautiful is actually you. How you look even beautiful when you have no makeup on. Or the way you would flip your red hair to look at the person that’s greeting you. Every time you would do that, I would imagine sparkles all over because it’s beautiful. But there is one thing that makes you beautiful.”

“And that is?” Bom smiled hearing such thing from him. She does have a crush on the guy and using his real name was in hope to get closer to the guy. She used the trick of getting attention by teasing the guy with one thing they hate. In this case, Bom has learned about his dislikes on his real name so in the end she with that.

“What makes you beautiful …” he leaned forward meeting her eyes closely. “Is you being you. You’re beautiful when you greet people in the morning with your morning glory in your eyes.”

Bom frowned hearing such thing from him.

“Or when your dark circle is more noticeable without the makeup,” he went on making the girl’s inside turn in anger. “Or how you would annoy me with calling me by my real name. But to me that’s what makes you beautiful… is that you are who you are and not anybody else. Because a Choi Seung Hyun doesn’t like people who aren’t themselves around friends or in this case to who they like.”

“Excuse me?” Bom almost choked at her own saliva.

“I won’t hide it anymore,” he smiled. “I like you Park Bom, and if you can give me a chance I’ll be the happiest man in the world.”

Bom sure felt her cheeks burning and she’s aware how her light shade of pink blush is now red due to the words the guy she has a crush on is saying. She felt her heart beat double and her lips ready to break in such smile.

She felt something in her stomach knowing that she has been waiting for this day and being in the edge of giving up and just court the guy herself had finally ended. She didn’t need to go with her back up plan as the guy had already ask her.

“Are you sure you won’t regret?” she whispered making the guy chuckle lightly.

“No,” he said making the girl nervous at their close distance. “I’ll only regret one thing and that is if I don’t get to ask you out and someone else captures you. Then if that happens I’d end up regretting the chance I had for the rest of my life that the girl I like is with someone else.”

“Let’s just say,” he smiled thinking he’s being so different from who he is. “I was a coward then since I didn’t know if this beautiful girl in front of me deserves a man that’s weak like me who’s hiding behind a strong aura. Bommah I’m not really the person you see me in the outside. I’m not as outgoing as the guys are out there. But I just had to tell you what I feel now or else I’ll regret it.”

“Seung Hyun you shouldn’t be judging people so fast,” Bom giggled. “Because the moment I laid my eyes on you I know it has to be you. And who you really are is what makes you beautiful. And like you I’ll only regret one thing and that is if you don’t get your attention for you to finally realize who and what I am. I’m glad I didn’t have to do the asking.”

“So are willing to go out with me?” he asked again. “Even if I’m not the person you think I am.”

“Yes,” Bom smiled thinking how cute the guy is right now. “And it doesn’t matter who you are because right now I feel like I know who you really are.”

“Great!” Top bit his lips thinking he did it. His fear had subsided seeing how it all worked out and now that he had asked her and she agreed things in his once dark place is slowly brightening up. “Thanks!” he murmured making the girl happy.

Both froze hearing the people around them clapping. They looked around and all had an awe look on their faces.

“Hyung I didn’t know you had that in you!” Daesung yelled from the other side.

“Great show hyung!” Jiyong teased. “You just beat me on being cheesy!”

Dara smiled happily seeing that her friend had her wish come true. She gave her a thumbs up which the girl nodded to.

“You feel it hyung?” Seungri asked making the eldest acknowledge what he meant. The young man gave him a genuine smile which Top ree as well.

After Jiyong’s party, Top decided to take Bom home. As much as he didn’t want to end the night, he had to but likewise he was looking forward to their upcoming date.

“Thanks for the ride,” Bom said handing him the other helmet for his motorcycle. “I enjoyed our little trip around the city.”

“Yea no problem,” he smiled. “I guess I’ll just see you this Sunday?”

“Yea,” Bom held her hands together feeling giddy. “Umm good night I guess?”

“Yea,” Top felt blank not knowing what to say or do. “I’m looking forward for it.”

“Me too,” Bom giggled. “I guess I’ll see you then.”

“Sure,” he held his helmet. And just when he was about to put it on, Bom ran towards him holding onto his hands to prevent the guy from putting it on. Top stiffened feeling the girl’s lips on his cheek and sure they turned red feeling something good from it.

“Good night,” she whispered after she pulled away from her surprise kiss on his cheek. “Drive safely! I’ll see you Sunday!”

“Yea,” he answered robotically which the girl giggled too. “Good night.”

“Night,” she said and turned a bit to open their gate. She smiled seeing the guy watching her every move. And once the girl was in safely at her home his smile rose up to his ears.

“Yes!” he threw a punch in the air. “I have a date this Sunday!” he sung and slowly wore his helmet. He went on and on singing how he got a date with the girl he once used to watch feeling that love had finally hit hard.
