“You don’t?”

I gulped as I tugged on my shirt nervously “I…I don’t think this is right”

He stood straight at my words “do you not feel anything for me?”

“I…”

“You kissed me back” he stated

“I did” and it was amazing “but it was just that. A kiss, a kiss that shouldn’t have happened.”

Wooyoung stepped closer “but it did Jieun”

I tighten my hand around my shirt “I’m seeing someone already.”

“He’s courting you, it’s not like your dating” he mumbled confident as he took a step closer

“This is wrong” I stepped back “I don’t feel that way about you anymore.”

His shoulders slumped at my words “can’t we try? You had to feel something. I know you felt something.”

“Jae bum’s a good man” I grabbed my bag quickly “he deserves the best.”

“Merry Christmas” I said before rushing out

I let out a deep breath once I made it outside. It was cold but I could still feel the warm of his lips on mine. Why did he kiss me? Why did he have to kiss me? God, why did I have to like it? I’m over him. I’ve been over him for years now. Why do I feel so flustered than? Stupid Wooyoung, stupid boy.

I looked up startled as guilt immediately set in the pit of my stomach “Jae bum”

He smiled brightly “so you did get my message. Is the party done?”

I rushed towards him an wrapped my arms around him “Jae”

“I missed you too” he mumbled once he returned the hug “my beautiful Jieun”

I could feel him chuckling as he patted my hair but never pulled back “I actually like you tackling me out of nowhere. No need to apologize.”
