He froze in his tracks at the sound of the very much familiar voice. Slowly, he turned around, with a teasing smile already playing on his lips.

He saw her leaning against the wall casually, taking a small sip of her bottled water, eyes judging him closely with much jealousy. He couldn’t help smirking. He knew what was playing through her mind at that exact moment.

“Oh well...” he said and started to take a step closer. “...you know I’m good with these things.”

“I don’t,” she replied with a smirk as she capped back the bottle. “I wouldn’t know, because you’ve never did that with me before.”

“Shall we go out there to the stage now and try it out?” he challenged her, placing his right palm on the wall just right above her head and smiled down at her. “Come on.”

He noticed how she was throwing hesitant, nervous glances around them. People were bustling and out of waiting rooms, and there were some other idols who happened to pass by them and shot curious looks at them, but said nothing nonetheless.

“Oh, whatever,” she finally said, and pushed his arm away. “I am not that impressed either.”

“Sunbae-nim,” he called out, stopping her before she could take another step forward.

Just like how he did earlier, she turned around slowly to face him.

He gave her a small grin, “You don’t need a man, remember?”

Leaving her speechless, he threw her a wink and left her standing there to ponder over his words, lightly brushing her shoulder as he walked past her.

She could’ve sworn she heard him whistling under his breath.
