Long ago, there were legends and myths of another star in our universe and the twelve mystical forces that protected it that were passed on for generations. These twelve mystical forces were sworn to protect the planet of EXO and nourish the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life was the planet's lifesource and to all living things on the planet and it was an essential duty to protect it. As time passed on, chaos and corruptness poisoned the planet and its civilization. An old, evil power known as the Darkness clouded the planet and harmed the Tree of Life. The civilians soon grew into panic and as a last effort to protect the planet and the Tree of Life, the twelve forces fought against the Darkness. But the Dark Forces were too strong for them and before they knew it, the twelve forces fell under the Dark powers and corrupt evil took over their hearts. The twelve forces failed to fight against the Darkness and their planet was completely destroyed. Stories and myths tell of the twelve legends' being redeemed from their sins in the afterlife. As a result, they were sent to the planet Earth to be reborn, to start anew, and when the forces evil rise again, the twelve will reunite once more.

Other stories tell us of three female warriors known as the Seekers. These three warriors were the advisors and loyal companions in battle to the twelve legends. Some say that after they were killed in the final battle against the Darkness, they too were reincarnated and sent to the planet Earth. And one day, when the time comes, the three warriors will search for the twelve forces and reunite them in the upcoming battle that is to come.
