"Oppa... I don't want to go.." 
A ll year old you said to your brother. 
"Don't be like that Tiffany! Be confident in yourself!" 
He scolded you. 
You had just moved from LA, California, to Seoul, South Korea due to your father's new acting role in Korea. 
Your father was a famous Korean actor that had moved to LA for a shooting of a movie, and then got a new drama role. 
Your brother had a similar personality to your father. He was young, but very mature. 

You were walking in the hallways of your new middle school, it seemed very elite, very different from your rowdy middle school in LA. 
"I feel uncomfortable in this." 
You pointed at your uniform. 
"You'll get used to it, it's different right? In LA, we didn't have to wear uniforms."
He casually put his hands behind his head and kept walking with you. 
"Yeah..." 
You agreed. 
"But... What if everyone makes fun of my Korean?" 
You asked him, thinking about all of the teasing your new classmates would say. 
"Yah, Lee Tiffany. Don't think about what other people say! Besides, look at you right now! You're speaking it fine!" 
He sternly said. 
"I guess that's true, I need to stay strong! Like you said, I can't let teasing get to me!" 
You confidently smiled. 
"This is the Tiffany I like to see, confident and warm." 
He smiled and ruffled your hair. 
"Oppa! You ruined my hair!" 
You pouted and tidied your hair again. 
"Where's Appa by the way?" 
You asked him.
"He's busy as usual, filiming his new drama, My Girl." 
Your father was Lee Dong Wook, a new growing actor receving roles and jobs from everywhere. You didn't risk telling anyone who your father was, or else you would get bothered at school. Your mother had passed away when you were 4, from a sudden disease. 

Sooner or later, you and your brother arrived at a door, where your suppossed classroom was. 
He knocked on the door, and a young lady opened it and looked at the both of you. 
"Is there something you need?" 
She asked. 
"Yes, this is my sister, Tiffany Lee. She's the transfer student from LA who's joining your class today." 
He replied. 
"Oh I see! Please come on in." 
She smiled and guided the way for you. 
Your brother pushed you forward.
"Fighting Tiffany! Be confident! I'll see you after school, okay?" 
He smiled. 
"Yep, bye Byunghun-Oppa!" 
You smiled. 
Finally, you entered the class, trying to make a confident entrance. 
All the kids were talking and playing games with each other, you saw one boy with black hair and pretty eyes, smile at you. 
You blushed and then quickly looked away, and stood over to where the teacher was standing. 
"Class listen up!" 
Your teacher yelled. 
Everyone immediately stopped talking and turning around 
"We have a new student from the United States. Please introduce yourself to the class." 
She said. 
"I'm Lee Tiffany! Nice to meet you all!"
You bowed quickly. 
Everyone cheered in applause and greeted you. 
"You'll sit beside Baekhyun. Baekhyun, please raise your hand!" 
You were secretly hoping that the boy who you saw earlier was him, and you were right. The same boy raised his hand. 
"Everyone, we'll have a free period today, talk and play games with your friends, and greet Tiffany!" 
Your teacher then dismissed you. 
You walked over and sat down in the seat beside him. 
"I'm Byun Baekhyun! Nice to meet you!" 
He greeted you with a huge smile. 
"Baekhyun? You mean like bacon?" 
You asked him with a curious expression. 
He laughed and then replied, 
"No silly! My name's not a type of meat, it's Baekhyun! BAEK HYUN!" 
He spelled out his name for you. 
"Oh.. Baekhyun... Sorry about that." 
You said, embarassed. 
"It's okay, no worries." 
He smiled.
"So, you're from the United States? You don't look American to me." 
He pointed at your jet black hair and your face. 
"I was born and raised there, but my parents are from here, Seoul." 
You replied. 
"Wow! Does that mean you can speak 2 languages?" 
"Yep!" 
"That's SO cool! I only know how to speak Korean." 
He said with an awestruck expression. 
You let out a small giggle. 
"What? What's so funny?" 
He asked you with a curious expression, imitating the one you had earlier. 
"You're a really funny and interesting person!" 
You smiled and gave your eye smile. 
He blushed and then quickly looked away. 

Over time, you and Baekhyun became close friends, you would always hang out with him at breaks and go to his house. Everyone in your class thought the two of you were dating, which the both of you would always blush and quickly disagree. 
Until... 

~3 Months later.. 

"Tiffany. We're moving to China." 
Your father suddenly announced at the dining table. 
Byunghun and you looked at your father in shock.
"Wh.. What?" 
Byunghun asked, hoping he heard his father wrong. 
Your father sighed. 
"I know the both of you are in shock. I got a new role in Beijing that requires me to stay there for awhile. Byunghun, if you were older, I would let you stay here in Seoul, with Tiffany." 
He said. 
"But what about Baekhyun?" 
You asked, as you started to tear up. 
"I'm sorry. You're going to have to say goodbye to him." 
He quietly said. 
You dropped your chopsticks and ran up to your room. 
Your father sighed. 
"She really likes that Baekhyun boy that much?" 
He asked your brother, and Byunghun nodded. 
"When are we leaving?" 
Your brother asked. 
"Tomorrow evening. You should go get your stuff ready and packed, I'll tell Tiffany when we're leaving tomorrow later." 
Your father said to your brother.

Meanwhile in your room, you were sobbing into your pillow, and it was almost drenched of tears. 
I don't want to leave Baekhyun.. Why do I have to move? 

~The next day..

"Class, I have some news. Tiffany will be moving to Beijing due to her father's job." 
"Aww.." 
The class disappointedly said. 
You were at the front of the class, with your head down low. Your eyes were all swollen and red from crying too much. 
Once you sat down, you looked over at Baekhyun's seat, which was empty. 
He must be sick. I should go over to his house and tell him.

Once school was over, you ran into your almost empty room. 
You grabbed the two charms that were in your special pouch in your cabinet. 
Your mom had given you a pair of charms before she passed away, to give to the one you loved. Even though you were really young when she placed them in your hands when she was about to dye, she had high hopes for your happiness and future, which remained in your mind. 


You engraved both of them with the two of your initials, but behind the gold moon, you put the words, "EXO," on the back of it. 
You wrote a short letter explaining your situation. 
You ran to his house and rang the doorbell. His mother opened the door and cheerfuly said, 
"Oh Tiffany! Baekhyun's up in his room sleeping because he just finished his medicine. Is there something you have to give to him?" 
"I have a letter to give him." 
You put out the letter and gave it to her. 
"What's it for?" 
She asked. 
"I'm moving to Beijing, and I'm leaving tonight. It's to explain everything so that he knows why I won't be at school." 
You replied, trying your best to put a happy expression. 
His mom noticed, and then said, 
"It's too bad that you're leaving. Baekhyun likes you a lot, you're truly his best friend to him. He always talks about you and the fun times you two have." 
She smiled. 
You blushed and then quickly replied, 
"He's my best friend too!" 
You smiled. 
"Please give him this letter before tomorrow." 
You told her. 
"I will, don't worry." 
She replied. 
"Thank you Mrs. Byun!" 
You bowed and ran back home to get ready to depart. 

~Meanwhile.. 
No One's POV: 

Baekhyun woke up from his nap, and stretched his arms out. 
I feel a lot better now. 
His mom knocked on the door, and she came in. 
"Oh Baekhyun, you're feeling better now?' 
"Yep!" 
"Tiffany came by just before you woke up." 
"She did?!" 
He smiled at the sound of your name. 
His mom felt a bit sad once she saw her son's expression. 
It's too bad she's moving. Baekhyun seems to like her so much. She was a nice kid. 
"She needed to give you this." 
She put the letter in Baekhyun's hand. She kissed his forehead and then walked over to the door. 
"Rest more okay?" 
She told him. 
"I got it!" 
Once his mom left, he opened the letter, and he found a charm included inside the envelope, the same gold moon charm that you engraved the two of your initials and "EXO" on the back. 
He read the letter, inside it said, 

Dear Baekhyun, 
Why weren't you at school today? I missed talking to you and hearing your funny stories. :( 
I have something to tell you, which is why I'm writing this letter. 
I'm moving to Beijing. 
My father got a new job there. By the time you read this letter, I'll around be on my way to the airport to leave tonight. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you another time. I'll really miss you. You have become such an important person to me. I'll never forget you, no matter how far we're separated. 
The charm in the envelope is a special charm my mother gave to me before she passed away. There's a matching silver star charm, that I have with me. I engraved our initials on the front, and I wrote EXO because it stands for EXO planets, which are planets outside of our Solar System. 
I always felt you were so unique and happy all the time. :) 
You can consider that as a keepsake from me, I hope you can use it as a lucky charm. 
I may be able to come back to Korea, some time. It may take years though. I'll always have my matching charm with me to recognize me if I'm already older and look completely different. 
Remember that you are and will always be my number one best friend to me. 
You were my favourite bacon. :)

Baekhyun's eyes were already tearing up, and his hands were tightly gripped the letter. He tried holding in his tears, but it was no use. His emotions were overflowing and he started bawling his eyes out. 
He clutched the letter even more. 
"Tiffany... Why did you leave?" 
He asked.
After a few minutes, and his tears stopped flowing, he made up his mind with a serious expression. 
I will meet you again. I'm going to become famous, and you will recognize me the moment you see me. Wait for me, Tiffany. My eye smiling princess.

Finally, the prologue is done! Sorry, this one's really long, the normal chapters won't probably be as long as this, unless if it's really important. 
Chapter 2 is coming up next, and it's the present, this was during the past. :)
