Date with Hoya Part 1
Clash of the PlayersToday was your date with Howon and to say the least, you were excited. You woke up early and got ready to spend the entire day with him. It was going to be so much with just the two of you hanging out. There was no need to pretend to be someone else’s girlfriend. You were getting a little tired of pretending to be in a relationship with Myungsoo during school and resume despising him afterwards.
You checked your backpack to make sure you had everything before leaving the house. Once you thought you didn’t forget anything, you put on your shoes and quietly left the house so you wouldn’t wake your parents up. Ever since their argument, you’ve been interacting with them less and less.
Since it was still early, you decided to buy some coffee and breakfast for Howon and his family. You set the food and drinks down in order to take out your keys. Because you were Howon’s best friend, he entrusted you with a key to his house if you ever wanted to come for whatever reason, whether it was to bother him, hang out, etc. Plus, you figured ringing the doorbell at such an early hour wouldn’t be fair to him and his parents.
Carefully keeping the door open with your back, you picked up the bags and gently closed the door. You turned around and met his dad.
You bowed. “Good morning.”
Howon’s parents always insisted that you called them by mom and dad as well because of your close relationship with their son and you didn’t mind. It just showed how close you were with his parents and how much they liked you.
“Good morning.” He smiled. “What brings you here so early?”
You lifted up the bags of food. “I brought breakfast.”
“Oh you shouldn’t have.” He said, walking over to help you.
You followed him into the kitchen and set the food and drinks down on the table.
“Is Howon oppa still sleeping?” You asked.
His dad nodded. “He was up until late last night, although I’m not sure why. The lights in his room finally turned off at around two in the morning.”
