Chapter two

Key’s POV

I stared into the mirror of the bathroom as I fixed my school uniform. I let out a sigh and grab my bag by the mirror before walking out. As soon as I did I was met by my dino.

“Hey,” He smiled and pecked my lips, “Ready?”

“Hm.” I nodded my head and we walked out together. Since we attend the same school he always waits for me. I was actually surprised when his parent’s told me that I could go to school with Jjong. It was probably out of pity or something else, I don’t know.

When we got outside Taemin was already out there waiting for us. He too was given the chance to go to the same school as us.

“Let’s go.” Jjong said as he went to the driver’s side. I nodded and we got into the car. I was about to sit in the back seat with Minnie but Jjong shot me a look and I couldn’t help but sigh. It was my Jjong’s request for me to sit in the passenger seat whenever we were to go somewhere. Without a word, I closed the back door and sat in the passenger seat like he wanted.

The ride to school was filled with laughter as always. Minnie and Jjong seems to always have something to tell or say, not that I hate it that is. Hearing their voices is something that always brings a smile to my face.

When we got close to the school, Jjong stopped the car and Minnie and I got out. Because of our status with each other we have to do this so no one would find out about us. Believe me, it hurts a lot to have to pretend like we don’t know each other but it’s to protect Jjong.

“I’ll see you later.” He smiled at me and I nodded before he drove ahead. With a sigh I turned to Minnie and we continued walking.

Normal POV

Jonghyun parked his car in his reserved spot and grabbed his school bag before heading out.

“Jonghyun ah.” I turned around and smiled when I saw my friend approach me.

“Minho, I would’ve thought that you would be in the classroom by now.” Jonghyun said and did their little hand greeting before heading to their classroom together. As the other talked, Jonghyun listened but when he saw Key at the corner of his eye he couldn’t help but look at the boy. He wanted to just walk over to the boy and kiss him but told himself to calm down.

Key saw Jonghyun look at him and slightly smiled before he and Taemin walked to their lockers.

“Aw~” Taemin pouted when he looked through his bag, “I forgot my banana milk.”

“Again?” Key smiled, “Don’t worry.” He pulled out a bottle from his own bag and handed it to him, “I brought you an extra one just in case.”

“Really?!” Taemin exclaimed happily and accepted the bottle, “Thank you umma.”

Key smiled at the younger’s cuteness and nodded his head. “Key~.” at his name Key stopped and turned around, so did Taemin.

“Oh, Mir.” Key smiled at his approaching friend, “Good morning.”

“Good morning.” the other replied happily and wrapped his arms around his and Taemin’s shoulder as they walked to their classrooms.

“Why are you so happy today?” Taemin asked as he tucked his banana milk into his bag.

“Because, my Joonie is taking me on a date today and I’m really excited.” Mir answered with a smile.

“Really?” Key asked, “Where are you two going?”

“I don’t know yet. Joonie won’t tell me. He says that it’s a secret.” Mir said and released his arms from the others.

“And a secret it will remain.” Said another person as he wrapped his arms around Mir and pecked his cheek, “At least until tonight.”

“Joonie …” Mir shyly looked away and blushed.

“Come on you love birds.” Key laughed, “Class is about to start. Don’t want you two to spend your date in detention.” With that they walked into class and their day started.

--Time Skip--
Key’s POV

It’s lunch time and I sigh as I waited on top of the school rooftop. It’s my daily routine, I would tell my friends I have somewhere else to be and come up here to wait for my dino. He would tell his friends that he is going out to eat in a restaurant and really just leaves to come and meet me.

I sigh again and lean against the wall and stare out into the school ground. Suddenly I felt arms wrapped around me and a kiss on the back of my neck. Which in return sent shivers down my back.

“Jjong.” I smiled and turned around to hug my dino. He hugged me back and pecked my lips this time.

“Sorry it took so long.” he apologized and kissed my forehead, “I had to do something before coming up here.”

“It’s okay.” I brushed a few strands of hair from his face and rested my hands on his shoulders. He leaned in to kiss me again but I placed a finger in front of his lips and stopped him.

He gave me a look and I smiled. “We should eat before doing anything else.”

“But Key~” Jjong pouted, “I want to kiss you now.”

I shook my head and he sighed before nodding his head. He sat on the ground while I sat in between his legs and leaned my back against his chest. After getting comfortable we started eating the lunch I packed for each of us. He fed me and in return I fed him.

“Hmmm~” Jjong sighed, “This is the best food ever. I will never get tired of your cooking.”

“Really?” I asked and looked up at him, which he answered with a nod, “Then I’ll cook for you whenever you want.”

“Promise?” He asked and I nodded before we sealed it with a pinky promise.

“You should really become a chief, Key.” Jjong said, which is what he always said to me since I started cooking.

“I don’t know Jjong.” I smiled, “I think I rather be a servant at your house. At least then only you could taste my food, and I could see you whenever I want.”

“Aw.” He hugged me and I leaned into the hug. That was right, all I ever want more than anything is to stay by Jjong’s side. No matter what happens.
