"Wow, she's so pretty!"

"It's my first time meeting her up close!"

"So pretty! Many guys must have confessed to her before."

*Sigh, the usual things...* Chaerin thought.

She was pretty and smart. She had everything everybody wanted.

But there's just one thing.

She was shy, withdrawn, and only had one best friend.

Even though everyone was dying to be her friend, she was too shy to accept them, or she didn't even know them.

That didn't stop her group of suitors though.

Every morning, her table will be full of flowers and chocolates, but her friend, Park Kimra always threw it away for her, as she was allergic to both.

People never thought about what she really liked.

There was this one guy she liked though.

His name is JR.

"Just confess to her man. If she rejects you, so be it!" Aron poked JR's ribcage. "At least you tried."

"No... She just turns down everyone!" JR said, exasperated.

Today... Was Chaerin's birthday.

JR had been one of Chaerin's admirers, but she just didn't know when he started liking her.

It had been ages ago, when they first met. JR had been playing and accidentally pushed Chaerin.

She just stood up, looked down, brushed herself, and ran off.

But JR could remember how she looked like. Her beauty captivated him.

In middle school, they met again.

JR watched her every move, rememering every action.

His clique always about it, asking him to confess.

But well... Today was special. He wanted to make it special.

"JR, look, she's over there!" Ren shouted, then pushed him towards her.

The group of suitors suddenly came into view, blocking JR from getting close to Chaerin.

Chaerin sighed, then continued walking.

"Hwang Chaerin! I have something to say to you!" JR shouted over the group of people.

Chaerin stopped and turned. She softly asked the suitors to leave, grabbed JR's hand and ran.

The both of them ran while holding hands, and after running a few blocks, Chaerin brought JR into a alley, put her fingers to her lips and mouthed, "Keep quiet."

Awhile later, the suitors ran past, not knowing that the pair was well hidden in the alley.

JR could feel her breath on him, and unconsciously, he kissed her.

It was the softest first kiss for Chaerin, and while JR had many girlfriends before, this was his most sincere kiss. Ever.

Chaerin stared at him, confused.

"I... erm... I like you..." JR mumbled under his breath.

Chaerin stared at him wide-eyed. Not knowing what to do, she fumbled with the hem of her skirt.

"Ilikeyoutoo" She whispered. She looked down shyly.

JR grinned, then hugged her, and she shyly hugged him back.
