When He Introduces You to the Other Infinite Members as His Girlfriend

“Can we just go home ?” you asked him quietly before unbuckling your safety belt.

“No, we can’t,” Dongwoo answered you sternly and moved from his seat to help you with the safety belt.

“You’ve promised,” Dongwoo tried to remind you. He then got out from the car and walked to your door as he opened the door. He lent you a hand but you refused to hold his hand and walked on your own way.

“I’d rather getting stalked by your sasaeng fans than doing this, Jang Dongwoo, seriously,” you ranted to Dongwoo without even knowing if he’s listening or not. But thankfully he did, and all you got as a reaction was just his trademark laugh.

“You babo,” He lightly smacked your head.

“Everything’s gonna be fine, I’m sure that they’re gonna love you the second they know you,” Dongwoo said, trying to assure you as he entwined his fingers with yours. Dongwoo then led you to the elevator. You could really feel your heartbeat raced the more you’re closer to their dorm’s door. You never really imagined that meeting the rest of the Infinite boys would be this hard. You’re just too afraid if you couldn’t meet their expectations about you.

“Yah, what’s with that face….everything’s gonna be fine, trust me..,” Dongwoo snapped you out of your thoughts. He gave a reassuring squeeze to your hand and dragged you out of the elevator .

“Ready?” Dongwoo asked before he pressed the doorbell. You hesitatedly nodded your head and instructed Dongwoo to press the bell. After like the longest thirty seconds you’ve ever been the door finally opened and there there…you smiled brightly when you saw Sungjong opened the door and let you guys in.

“Oh..annyeong haseyo,” you could really hear six of them chanted the greetings almost at the same time the second they noticed you and Dongwoo finally arrived. You don’t even know why but all the anxiety were all gradually washed out when you see all those warm smiles they have on their face.

“See, I told you, you don’t have anything to worry about,” Dongwoo whispered in an excited tone as you both made your way inside. You slightly nodded your head in agreement.

You finally stepped into the main living room. The place was peculiarly neat. You don’t even know how the boys..or maybe Dongwoo in this case made the messy-looked dorm of theirs which you regularly see only at TV shows into a beautiful neat place like this.

“Guys….meet my girlfriend, _________,” Dongwoo officially introduced me as his girlfriend in front of them.

“Annyeong haseyo, I’m _________, it’s nice meeting all of you,” you bowed a little and flashed the brightest smile to all these familiar figures standing before you and Dongwoo.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, _________-sshi,” said Woohyun welcomingly. Soon after that, the younger lines also welcomed you, they even called you with ‘noona’ already and that really makes you feel like home.

“Dongwoo just couldn’t stop talking about you, _________-sshi,” added Sunggyu with a warm smile at his face. This time you blushed knowing the fact that Dongwoo has been talking about me to the boys. “Oh really ? I hope that he didn’t talk about anything weird or bad about me,” you slightly turned your eyes to Dongwoo.

“No of course not, baby….You don’t even have anything weird to be talked about,” Dongwoo slid an arms at your waist and pulled you closer.

“Ah I remember Dongwoo hyung told me that you even can kill a cockroach with bare hands, is that true, noona ?” you balled your eyes out in shock when you heard Sungjong’s question. Embarrassed, you automatically smacked Dongwoo’s arms.

“Jang Dongwoo! You said you didn’t talk about anything weird,”

“This is the first time I meet them and now I’m a lady-bare-handed-bug-killer already,” you let out frustratedly as you scrunched your face in embarrassment.

“You think that’s weird ?” Dongwoo countered.

“I think that’s charming, and that’s why I told them, because I’m so proud having you,” Dongwoo whispered in the most greasiest way, almost as greasy as Woohyun could be but with less flying heart and weird sounds. You couldn’t help but smile while all the boys started teasing you because of that lovey-dovey scene you and Dongwoo performed live in front of them.

“Besides, I still have pretty much stuffs I haven’t told them,” Dongwoo then added. Just like that, Dongwoo started ranting about all the things that you have in common with each of the members and to be honest even you yourself don’t even realized that you actually have it.

“Gyu hyung, you know what, she speaks Mandarin, you should converse with her sometimes to improve your Mandarin,”

“Woohyun, her younger sister is a big fan of you,”

“Hoya, I know you don’t have such a sweet tooth but she and her cousin runs a cakery named ‘Purple Line’ in southern Gangnam-gu where almost all the cakes in there were all frosted and decorated with everything purple-colored,”

“Sungyeol, her cakery serves like one of the best Americano you’d ever taste, trust me!”

“Myungsoo, her closet is basically just like yours, 80% of them are black OTL,”

“And Sungjongie, you’re gonna love this noona beause she’s an avid horror movie er just like you T^T,”

After Dongwoo finished his so-called speech, you could really see that he did successfully awe the boys and after a brief second, the boys started ‘interviewing’ you, asking if what he said were all true. And just like that, it’s wise enough to say that Dongwoo really abolished the first-meeting-awkwardness crap and literally saved the day as he automatically created like tons of topics to talk about with the boys through that ‘speech’.

“Why are we sitting at this huge table ?” you eyed him confusedly as soon as you arrived at the restaurant and found Woohyun sitting at the table with eight seats instead of the usual 2-seated table you and him used to take everytime you both eat at this restaurant.

“Just take a seat first,” Woohyun pulled a chair for you. You then smoothed the the dress under you and sat straight down on the chair.You eyed him suspiciously and still kept wondering why would he choose this table.

“You’re being suspicious today,” you began.

“You look so gorgeous today,” Woohyun averted your eyes and complimented you instead.

“W-wait…one two three four five six seven…eight,” you re-counted the number of the seats and realization hit you all of a sudden.

“Are we having dinner with your members ??” you asked in disbelief. It caught Woohyun off guard as he automatically nodded his head.

“No-no-no-no-no, YOU LIED TO ME ABOUT THIS DINNER ??HOW DARE YOU, ROTTEN TREE!!” you raised your voice started to abrbuptly smack him with your purse, not giving any to other people who’d probably witness that scene.

“I didn’t lie to you, I never told you that it’s gonna be only the two of us, right ?” Woohyun tried to defend himself.

“But you never told me that they’re gonna be having dinner with us either, right ??” you snorted back at him.

“Look, I just think that it’s finally the time for me to introduce you as my girl to them officially, and I thought of giving you a little surprise by doing this,” Woohyun tried to calm you down. He gave you a little squeeze at the tip of your left hand but you just shoved him away.

“I know…but still….it’d be better if you told me beforehand,” you pouted sadly.

“At least I’d make myself look prettier by wearing a better dress and make up if I know I’d meet them tonight,” you slouched at the chair, crossed your arms in front of your chest, and tried your best to not making any more noise as the restaurant started getting crowded and it seemed like people recognized that the guy you’re bickering with is Nam Woohyun.

“You look gorgeous even without doing all those efforts, trust me…,” Woohyun pulled himself closer and softly your hair while you’re still feeling all complicated, excitement and anxiety fluttered one after another in your stomach just by knowing that in a matter of no times, you’ll meet Woohyun’s closest people that are more like a family to him now. Meeting Infinite could be considered as meeting a part of Woohyun’s family afterall.

“Hyung~ here~!” suddenly Woohyun pulled himself away from you and waved to the door’s direction. You felt a lump at your throat as you saw six standing figures appeared at the end of the door and gradually walked nearer to your table. You tried your best not to look awkward but damn..you just couldn’t.

“Chill, just relax….I’m here, you don’t have to be all tensed up and nervous,” Woohyun whispered lowly and you just gave him a this-is-all-your-fault look to him.

“Don’t give me that look,” Woohyun pouted and you could’ve sworn to yourself that as cut as that pout could be, you felt like punching him in the face that time.

“I hate you, old tree,” you whispered back to him as your gaze are set right to the Infinite boys who were getting more and more closer to your table.

“I love you too,” Woohyun replied greasily and you just cringed in disgust. You then got up from your seat as the boys finally arrived at your table. Bowing your head a little, Woohyun finally got up from his seat as well and sneaked an arm at your waist as he introduced you to his best friends.

“Guys meet ________, my beautiful amazing gorgeous girlfriend,” Woohyun said.

“Annyeong haseyo, I’m __________, it’s a pleasure to meet you,” you slightly bowed and introduced yourself again. The boys seem really welcoming you as they each plastered a warm smile in their faces when they saw you.

“_________, meet Infinite, this is the weak yet noisy grandpa, the dino hyung, Mangwondong’s Tinky Winky--,” As Woohyun introduced all his buddies sloppily, Sunggyu suddenly cut him off and threw a piece of tissue to Woohyun’s face to shut him up.

“Yah! We have names, you old smelly tree!” the older guy slightly yelled at him and you just couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

“__________-sshi, I’m sorry but I really need to do that,” Sunggyu jokingly apologized to you and you just nodded amusedly.

“No no, that’s okay, this guy really deserves it,” you replied him all giggly.

“Babyyyyyy~, you should be on my side!!” whined Woohyun. He cling into your arms , not to mention…shamelessly in front of all those friends of him.

“Get me off, Nam Woohyun,” you said uncomfortably. Woohyun then lazily get his hand off of your arms. He told the boys and you to sit back to the seats and called the waiter to order some food for you guys’ dinner.

“Noona, you look so pretty, no wonder you got Woohyunnie hyung head over heels,” Sungjong talked comfortable as we all sat down and waited for our food.

“Yeah, _________-sshi, you’re so pretty, and why do I feel that your face really looks familiar to me," Hoya said as he slipped a naughty smile to Woohyun, trying to mess up with him.

“Yah yah yah, just cut the crap, Lee Howon, how dare you hitting on my girlfriend, saying that she looks familiar and who knows that five minutes later you’d say that she’s your childhood friend!” Woohyun jokingly snapped at Hoya as he placed a hand on the top of your left knee. You smiled realizing that and automatically placed your hand on the top of his hand reciprocatedly.

-Myungsoo-

“Myung, I’m sorry I didn’t have enough sleep yesterday…do I look horrible ? Am I late ?” was basically the only thing you kept saying to Myungsoo at the elevator ride to Woollim’s recording studio that day.

“Baby you look fine, you look gorgeous, there’s no need to worry,” Myungsoo said reassuringly as he tucked some strands of hair behind your ears and smiled endearingly.

“Besides, we just finished the recording like five minutes ago, so you’re not late,” he added. “I rolled some kimbaps and bought some cups of coffee, hope they’ll like it,” you muttered and showed Myungsoo your busy hands. Myungsoo chuckled lightly and helped you with the coffees.

“Here, let me help you,” he reached for that handful bags of coffee and took it with him. He then entwined his fingers with yours and pulled you closer.

“You really don’t have to do this,” he said.

“But thanks….I’m sure that they will like it,” Myungsoo flashed a smile and turned to you. You forced a smile but he knew it really well that you’re way too frightened and nervous.

“Chill….you don’t have to be nervous, they don’t bite,” Myungsoo cracked some joke, but still…

“What if they don’t like me, Myung ?” you asked him worriedly. Hint of anxiety was shown clearly all over your face, while Myungsoo’s face was ironically so calm and relax. That, truthfully freaked you out even more. You freaked out because Myungsoo didn’t get freaken out by this meeting and that really bugs you.

“Myung, what’s with that face ?Why are you not WORRIED AT ALL ??” you snapped to get Myungsoo’s attention.

“What should I worry about, babe ? I love you, of course they will like you. That’s how it’ll go,” Myungsoo replied amusedly.

As the elevator reached the destination floor, Myungsoo led your way. You scanned your head right and there and you didn’t even know why you instinctively hide your face everytime Myungsoo met his co-workers on you guys’ way to the recording studio.

“Yah do you think that it’s a good idea to bring me to your office ? I mean…what if your CEO sees us ? What if--,” you just couldn’t stop with the what ifs and Myungsoo cut you off.

“Baby…..just stop….the company lifted our dating bans like a year ago, even Sunggyu hyung’s girlfriend visit us almost every week, and the CEO is all fine, you don’t have to worry,” said Myungsoo.

Before you knew it, you and Myungsoo arrived in front of the studio door already. After you stepped in the studio, you could really see all eyes set on you . Myungsoo then wrapped his free arms around you and led you inside the room.

“Guys, meet ________, my girlfriend, ____________, this is Infinite,” Myungsoo officially introduced you to them. You bowed your head and put the brightest smile as you made your greetings to the boys.

“It’s nice to meet you all,” you said.

“Nice to meet you too, _______-sshi,” they said almost in unison.

“Whoa, you should join our company and be a part of a new girl group, _______-sshi, you look so beautiful,” complimented Woohyun. You just blushed and let out a little laugh hearing that.

“She rolled some kimbaps and bought us coffees!” Myungsoo said as he showed the bags full of food I’ve packed earlier. The boys were all cheering altogether when they heard the words ‘food’ and started gathering around the coffee table where Myungsoo put those bags.

“I’m not a good cook, but I hope that you all love this,” you added excitedly.

“Whoaaaa, it’s so delicious,” Sungyeol said with his full mouth.

“_______-sshi, eat some too! Myungsoo-yah how could you let your girlfriend just stand there like that!” scolded Sunggyu as he gave me the chopstick.

Myungsoo held your hand and you both walked nearer the coffee table to join the boys digging your suddenly famous kimbap.

“This is so delicious, thank you so much, jesu-sshi!!” Dongwoo thanked you with a loud chirpy voice and got you almost choked on your kimbap when he called you ‘jesu-sshi’.

“Yeah right, you should cook more for us, jesu-sshi~~~!” Woohyun suddenly joined Dongwoo by calling you ‘jesu-sshi’.

“Maybe this is why you’re getting fat lately, Myungsoo-yah!” teased Sunggyu as all of us burst into laughter and continued eating till the very last bite.

** jesu-sshi means 'sister in law', this term is used by a man to refer the wife of his younger brother
