Farewell
Beyond ImaginationLike a fool, I
Words that said to be well, words that
said thank you
What do I do? I don’t know anything.
Without any reason,
Are people who walk alone like me?
Today, I won’t be embraced
I’ll turn back after seeing your face
Tell me first
Not ambiguously but a bit more
clearer,
I saw you staring across the ocean. It's beautiful, how the golden sky reflected in the horizon.
Even though the view was magnificent, i couldn't take my eyes off you.
I saw the afternoon wind blew the side of your hair away.
"Hey." You said.
I just smiled as i offered a cup of hot matcha.
"But i preferred chocolate." I heard you protesting.
"I know." I said.
"So, why do you gimme this?"
"I want you to taste what it feels like." Because i want you to feel me, just this time.
You just nodded, your gaze still fixed to the sun that slowly disappeared into the ocean.
"How beautiful." You said, amazed with the view.
But all that i can see was how beautiful the smile on your face.
"How's life?" I asked.
"We see each other everyday." You answered curtly even though, that's not what i meant.
"I know." That's all that i could say. Because after all, she was right.
"Then why did you ask?"
I didn't answer for a whole minute. Why did I ask?
"So, are you happy now?" Why did i do this to myself?
"Pretty much."
I smiled in relief. "Very well then."
The last golden color in the sky has disappeared when i saw you shivering. I used to tell you to wear something warm especially in the weather like this. But you were so stubborn.
So, i took off my jacket and gently put it on your shoulder.
"It's cold outside." But not as cold as you.
I was stuck between the want to hug you tight or run away with the remaining of my feelings left for you.
"So what do you want to talk about?" You finally said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Why did you left?" I asked straightforwardly before i lost my courage, again.
You fell silent. I could tell you were nervous too. "I thought we were over this?"
"We are. I just want to know. I just want my closure." While in fact, she's and I'm not.
"I honestly don't know." You showed me a sad smile.
I could hear my broken heart creaking. "Tell me, what did I do wrong?"
"You did nothing wrong. We're just not meant to be." Anothe
