Lee Dong Wook has been sitting in his car for close to an hour now. Trying to decide if he is going up to her unit or not. He know she is home because of her car and today being a Wednesday and most likely she is just resting. She is probably asleep he thought with a smile. And later when she wakes up she will have her usual coffee and takes her shower and back in her pjamas and sleep again this time in her favorite part of her house while the windows are open allowing the wind to soothe her. He would usually join her if he doesn’t have an appointment for the day and have a very late dinner afterwards. He sigh thinking about it. It’s been months since he last set foot in her apartment. She didn’t even greet him on his birthday. But, after what happened to the, he knew she wouldn’t but he was hopeful. He waited until midnight but nothing came, she is usually the first one to greet him with a call or a video and if not she will find time to see him. For so many years she never missed to greet and be with him on his special day no matter how crazy their schedules are. Over his birthday dinner he was hoping each time there was a buzz on door, she will show up. But she didn’t came and no text or call at all. And that hit him hard. That brought him to come to her building and this time, it’s now or never. It’s driving him crazy. He misses her so much that it hurts.

His heart is pounding so hard and feels like exploding when he arrived in her unit. His hands shaking while he punches her code and hoping she didn’t change it. And when he opened the door what welcomed him is the familiar scent that he truly miss. The scent of home, he thought. The apartment was quiet which is the usual. He first went to the kitchen checking if she was there, but it was empty. And so, he went to her room to check.
