Winter POV

Ba bum – thud -Ba bum – thud

Winter couldn't believe she had been accepted to such an elite school. She had always dreamed of attending a prestigious institution like this one, but now that it was finally happening, she couldn't shake the feeling of nervousness.  She hears her heart beating… at an uncomfortable rate.

She looks up to see the luxurious ivory gate decorated with gold ivy leaves and the massive SMCU High golden emblem for everyone to see.

With a huge shaky breath, she closes her eyes and tightly clutches her sweater as she slowly enters the new campus. She couldn't help but feel like an impostor like she didn't belong among all of these brilliant and accomplished students. She tried to push these thoughts to the back of her mind as she walked through the hallways on the first day of school, but they kept creeping up no matter how hard she tried to ignore them. She just hoped that she could find her place among all of these accomplished students and prove to herself that she belonged there.

KARINA POV
 

Karina is cutely dressed up in a sleek and contemporary outfit, consisting of a slim-fit blazer in a stylish shade of grey, a crisp white button-down shirt, a burgundy dress skirt, and sleek leather sneakers.is impatiently waiting for her best friend Winter.

She fidgeted nervously in front of one of the buildings on campus checking the time on her phone for what felt like the hundredth time. She couldn't shake the feeling of impatience as she waited for Winter.

As the minutes ticked by, Karina couldn't help but worry that Winter might have gotten lost on the sprawling campus, with its many buildings and unfamiliar corridors. She knew her friend tended to get easily distracted, and she hoped that she wasn't off in some corner of the school, completely oblivious to the time.

Winter POV

As Winter wandered the unfamiliar corridors of the campus building, she couldn't help but feel a sense of panic rising inside of her, and now she had no idea where she was or how to get to where she needed to be.

Just as she was starting to consider asking for directions, she collided with someone coming around the corner. "Oof," she muttered, rubbing her head. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." The person Winter had collided with cutely chuckled and waved a hand dismissively. "No worries, it was my fault too," she said. Winter looked up to see a girl with burgundy hair and a mischievous glint in her eye. She wore wingtip eyeliner which highlighted her eyes and was dressed in the campus uniform, with a leather jacket instead of the official blazer and expensive combat boots instead of loafers.

Giselle radiated a cool, badass aura, but there was also a hint of something cute and mischievous behind her tough exterior. "I'm Giselle," she said, holding out a hand. "And you are?

Winter introduced herself and the pair quickly discovered that they had the same class. Giselle's face lit up with recognition and excitedly said. "Hey! we have the same class" Winter couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement at the prospect of having something in common with Giselle. They chatted as they walked, discovering that they had a lot of shared interests and a similar sense of humor. Giselle's personality was just as captivating as her appearance, and Winter found herself completely drawn in. As they arrived at their classroom, Giselle turned to Winter with a sly smile. "Hey, I was thinking maybe we could study together sometime," she said "I could use a study buddy." Winter's heart skipped a beat at the suggestion. She had secretly been hoping for an opportunity to spend more time with Giselle, and this was the perfect excuse. "I'd love too!" she said, trying to play it cool trying to hide her flattered smile. Giselle's face lit up with excitement, and Winter couldn't help but feel a sense of attraction.
