✧✦oo4 : What a Wonderful Job..!

"Aish, this girl..! Ok, nevermind, we'll just go on break!" the photographer hastily makes his exit due to all the frustration this whole morning. Naeun exhales, also exhausted from this morning as Sungjong runs to the over-worked girl's side.

"It's ok, Naeun, don't be too pressured under the photographer, he's a bit too harsh anyway..!" Sungjong giggles nervously as he hands Naeun her ninth water bottle.

She grabs it and drinks it like it was the only water left in the world, Gulg, gulg, gulg. And let's out yet another breath of exhaustion.

It's already her first day of her modeling career at her first official photoshoot, yet things aren't going smoothly.

[Earlier That Morning]

After nervously entering the studio, all eyes shift to her and everyone feels at awe in her beautiful looks and style. But things go to an opposite turn when it is time for some real photo-action.

"Ok, Naeun, get that beautiful face of yours and smile! Don't worry, I'll go easy on you since it's your first time!!" the photographer chuckled and picked up his camera, aiming the lens at the glammed up Naeun.

"Ok, remember Naeun, just smile naturally yet have a slightly lingering stare at the camera, ok? Then find an angle and pose!! But don't worry, I'm sure you'll do great, since you are my beautiful little chérie ~" Naeun remembered Dongwoon's advice.

Ok Naeun, you can do this!! You can show Myungsoo what he missed out and show the world how beautifuller you are than Park Chorong!! Naeun curved her lips and looked at the camera while bringing her arms to her hips.

It seemed as time when to stop until the photographer slowly put his finger on the shutter and a blinding flash filled the room in a millisecond. The room was silent and a heavy atmosphere creeped in as Naeun went to pose after pose, trying to smile very naturally and stare in the camera as Dongwoon directed. 

"WAIT!! STOP!! Naeun, dear, is that what you call a smile?" the photographer nervously joked. The staff crew and stylists start having small side conversations.

"Isn't she Son Dongwoon's younger sister?"

"Didn't Sunggyu-nim scout her?"

"She's pathetic, she has the looks and style but she can't even smile!!"

Naeun went back to reality after her painful first-time modeling flashback. "Sungjong, I don't know if I could do this.. I mean it was kind of Sunggyu to help me and all with the revenge but modeling is just too hard for me!" Naeun bowed her head in defeat.

"Aigoo, Naeun!! Don't give up now!! It's only the beginning! All this hard work will pay off and you'll have Myungsoo down at his knees begging for forgiveness!! Just imagine the feeling of Myungsoo being crushed by you!" Sungjong trimphly laughed.

"Yeah, but it's better said than done. After this I'm going to Sunggyu-oppa and tell him I'm going to quit.." Naeun frowned, I guess I can't be as beautiful as Park Chorong, or maybe even- Splash!!

Naeun froze as ice-chilling water dripped down her face, ruining her makeup and hair. "Noo!! Not the cashmere blouse!!" Sungjong and the other stylist yelped as if some king or queen had gotten killed.

Naeun stood there, shivering wet all over, with her makeup smeared and clothing completely wet. "Oh, I'm sorry, didn't mean to spill that on you," spoke a delicately yet rough voice. Naeun looked up and saw Jiyeon before her eyes smirking, holding a empty bottle of water.

"I'm sure you didn't," Naeun glared back at her.

"Whatever, it was nice seeing you around here; I definitely loved watching how badly you , it was quite a show," Jiyeon smugly greeted.

"Well seeing your face is quite a show as well. A very horrible show." Naeun retorted truthfully.

"Aww, it's so cute when you try to talk about someone you don't know and is obviously better than you," Jiyeon made baby faces and then smirked.

"If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong," Jiyeon giggled and walked past Naeun, bumping her shoulder on the way.

"Sunggyu!! Sunggyu-oppa!! Where are you?" called Naeun as she searched around the big office. Such a huge office, it's practically the whole floor, for all I know!!

Naeun continued to look for him until she spots something glistening under the sun's bright rays on the ground. What's this..

"Excuse me, are you looking for Sunggyu?" a kind-looking girl appeared bending over to see Naeun. "GAH!!" Naeun quickly grabbed the object and slipped it in her pocket.

"Hm? Oh, yes, I'm looking for Sunggyu!! Do you know where he may be?" Naeun quickly replied with what seemed like a normal voice.

The girl laughed at Naeun's cute reaction, "Yes, he's out for lunch, he'll probably be back in a few hours," the girl sighed, blowing her bangs up off her face. Her terra-cotta colored long hair accompanied with her bangs framed her cute smiley pudgy face.

"Need up getting up from down there?" the girl grinned. Naeun awkwardly nodded, stil a bit shocked seeing the girl appearing out of nowhere.

The brunette-haired girl helped Naeun up from the floor and giggled. Aww, too cute! Bomi is right, she's just too adorable!

Naeun awkwardly smiled, slightly embarrassed, Are all people here this beautiful? It's like a place full of pretty people!!

"Oh. Um, I'm new here. My name is Son Naeun," she bows a 180-degree bow. The girl steps back in surprise. "Um, do you model here too? Is Sunggyu your manager?"

The girl burst out in laughter, leaving Naeun in ultimate confusion and embarrassment once more. "Ah..! No, I'm not a model here..!" the girl managed to reply breathless.

"Oh.. I'm sorry, I-I just thought, because you're here and all. And in Sunggyu-oppa's office too.." Naeun shamefully looked down. It seems that I get everything wrong around here. This beautiful place full of pretty people is best without me, I'm not that beautiful anyways...

"It's ok, but it's the first time I get that around here! Everyone knows what part of the Entertainment Agency I'm from anyway!!" the girl grinned and patted Naeun's back.

"I'm Eunji by the way, Jung Eunji!! I'm a trainee here under the SKY HIGH Entertainment. I got scouted here just like you have, but in a different course." Eunji cheerfully explained.

"Oh, so you are under the make-up area? Like Sungjong?" Naeun asked, curious of what Eunji does instead of modeling.

Eunji laughed once more and gave Naeun a friendly grin, "No, I'm in the singing department. There's different kinds of departments for any talents here. Did Sunggyu show you around the whole building?" Eunji knowingly grinned.

"Hmm.. I'm not sure. I never knew there was such thing as a singing department." Naeun answered sheepily.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's show you around the whole SKY HIGH Entertainment building!!" Eunji chirped and hooked Naeun's arms with hers.

Naeun smiled, happy to have met another friendly face despite her horrible day due to everyone pressuring her. She felt at ease and is curious to know what else could lie around the building. Maybe I shouldn't quit after all..

"Hey, Eunji!! Can you give this to Sunggyu-hyung for me? It's my schedule so far, so he can work around the time for my debut promotion." an oddly familiar guy grinned and gave Eunji a binder full of times of his schedule.

Eunji shyly took the binder and bowed, "Yes, Woohyun-ssi, I will deliver it to him as soon as possible.."

WHAT THE- WOOHYUN?? YOU MEAN NAM WOOHYUN IN MY CLASS?? NAM WOOHYUN .. WHO'S MYUNGSOO'S BEST FRIEND? WHAT'S HE DOING HERE??? Naeun gasped in surprise, What a small world..!

As soon as Naeun and Eunji walked into the recording studio, the boy suddenly appeared. To Naeun's surprise, he is the Nam Woohyun, the alluring super rich and yet wickedly talented play boy at her school. He is also best friends with Myungsoo, very close friends in fact, Naeun thought they were in a gay relationship at a point of time and had always considered him as a rival. Now seeing him in the same talent agency as her, it's quite unexpected, stil leaving Naeun in pure shock.

"Yah, Eunji!! How many times do I have to tell you to drop the honorifics!! We're both trainee's under the same department, and also around the same age!! Just call me Woohyun, or I'll make you call me Oppa ~" Woohyun winked.
