Is this a dream? I can't believe it! Naeun giggled to herself. Just moments ago, she had just mustered up all of her courage to confess her love to the school's Bad Boy Kingka, Kim Myungsoo. And what's more surprising is that he accepted!! I knew years of nothing but studying and not buying stuff for myself would get me closer to him! Naeun proclaimed to herself.

For years the girl has been doing nothing but studying just to stay in the top class, which is also the same class as her secret crush. She never had the time to take care of her beauty since it was all about Kim Myungsoo. She would get him a juice box whenever the boy was thirsty and even let him copy off her test, she would do anything for the 'love of her life', her life was centered around Kim Myungsoo, and Kim Myungsoo only, no one else.

Naeun giggled again, playing a flash back of what previously happened to her.

"Kim Myungsoo, I..I like you!! Please accept these roses!!" Naeun proclaimed from her heart and offered the roses right in his face. "Sure," he nodded and reluctantly accepted the roses. Naeun looked up and was practically face to face with him. He smiled, his smile piercing through her heart. She jumped for joy and ran to the nearest restroom before she could even reply.

Which brings her to where she is now, Naeun felt like she was in heaven, on Cloud 9. She sighed, I still can't believe this.. She happily skipped back to the cafeteria, where she had previously saw Myungsoo. Does that mean we're going out right now? Is he my boyfriend?! Naeun squealed.

"Wow, I can't believe you did it!! I thought you would change your mind last minute but you really did accept that weirdo girl's confession!!" a guy's voice said, astonished. "I told you, there's nothing I can't do," a voice that sounds very simliar to Myungsoo smugly replied. "Yah, Myungsoo, you're such a dare-devil!! You should've seen that one time when he actually ate a raw egg, it was so disgusting!! And I was joking that time, you take dares so seriously!!" the guy laughed.

Are they talking about me..? Was it all a joke? A dare, even.. Naeun felt as if her life had ended, Myungsoo doesn't like me..?

"Um..Hey, Myungsoo..is that true about what you just said..? That it was all a d-dare..?" Naeun quietly stated as she appeared in front of Myungsoo's table. The whole cafeteria fell silent, all of Myungsoo's friends dramatically gasped, excited to see what Myungsoo was going to do next.

"I'm sorry to say this, but yes, it was all a dare. Look, I don't like ugly girls, you in particular," Myungsoo pointed at her in disgust. "You're too ugly, you can't even smile! Why would I go out with you in the first place?" he scoffed. Naeun stood frozen, full of shock. She felt humiliated being rejected right in front of the whole school.

"S-So all of t-this was a lie..?" she managed to mutter out of her cold lips.

After Naeun managed to sneak out of school early after lunch, she decided to get herself something from the street vendors. She had brought along her new companion, the COVER GIRL Magazine that featured Park Chorong, who apparently is the girl Myungsoo deserves. Yeah right, Myungsoo doesn't deserve any girl, he's too much of a jerk!! Naeun scoffed to herself.

"It's so calm and relaxing out here, now that it isn't crowded!!" Naeun exclaimed as she stretches her arms towards the sky. The city wasn't chaotic at all, compared to how it usually was in the morning nor late afternoon since most people were either at work or in school.

She soon arrived at her favorite street vendor, where they served the best sweet potatoes in all of Seoul!! Who says it's too early for sweet potatoes?

"Annyeonghaseyeo ~ How may I help you?" a girl warmly greets, even though it seems she has been sitting all day in the booth. She had her light brown hair up in a messy bun and was wearing comfortable sweats. But her bright smile seemed to cover the worry in her eyes. Naeun eyed her strangely, seeing an unfamiliar girl working at her favorite street vendor.

"Um, excuse me, but do you know the ajumma that works here? Did something happen to her or something?" Naeun worriedly asked.

"Ahh, my mother? Well.. I'm not sure either.. She at home and she's terribly sick.." the girl solemnly replied.

Naeun gasped, "I hope she's ok!! I will give her my prayers!! Oh, then if ajumma is your mother, you must be Bomi, Yoon Bomi, her daughter!! I'm Son Naeun, a regular at this shop," Naeun smiled.

"Son Naeun? My mother has talked a lot about you!! She says that you're beautiful!! Inside and out!!" Bomi praised, she was happy that another person cared for her mother. "Oh, what's that?" she curiously pointed to the magazine in her hand.

"Oh, this? This is going to help me be beautiful!!" Naeun hyperly exclaimed. Bomi giggled and handed her a bag of sweet potatoes, "Beautiful like Park Chorong? You are way prettier than her!" Why does everyone want to be like her? They should see who see truly is.. Bomi had thought to herself.

"Pshh, yeah right! Thank you for the potatoes, Bomi-ssi!!" Naeun bowed and waved as she headed towards her apartment complex. Bomi smiled, Umma was right, Naeun is beautiful, maybe not on the outside, but in the inside.

On the way home, passing ever-familiar cafes and shops, for the first time she had noticed a now-familiar face plastered in nearly every store on the way home. Park Chorong was everywhere, in posters, ads, and commercials, even on the gigantic flat screen TV displayed on large buildings, she was there, smiling her most gorgeous smile, accompanied by her beauty.

Naeun was in awe of the girl. She knows she will be beautiful like her one day and get her sweet revenge against Kim Myungsoo.
