An Yujin is currently resting on IVE’s dorm when the news broke out that she’s done with her acting lessons and is getting ready for drama or movie roles.

“Looks like you’re gaining traction early on, unnie.” Liz, her roommate blurted out.
“I don’t know if this is better or not… I’m kind of scared and nervous.” Yujin responded.
“I know you’ll do well unnie, don’t be nervous!”
“Easy for you to say, there’s Minju unnie…” Yujin responded with a chuckle, a low and nervous one as she scrolls through the news and came across a news of Kim Minju’s another successful drama.
“Still whipped?”
Yujin glared at her roommate who immediately covered herself with her blanket.

 

 

Yujin started her next day early as her manager woke her up from her sleep, telling her that she got a sudden meeting on the company. Yujin complied and readied herself for the meeting.

Yujin is now standing in front of the door of the CEO’s office, waiting for a go signal to go inside. She immediately bowed upon seeing their CEO when the door opened. The CEO just smiled at her and gestured for her to seat down and said to be comfortable.

“So, I asked for you today for a movie project.” The CEO opened the conversation.
“This early?” Yujin asked.
“Yep, the fans have been anticipating you acting. Do you remember the director that you worked with while doing the CF for Megapass?”
“Yes, sir..”
“Well, he’s the one that wants you. He immediately reached out to us after the news yesterday and said he has a movie project he wants you in. However, you need to audition.”
“It’s okay, sir. I’m confident with the results of my lessons.” Yujin assured the CEO.
The CEO nodded in approval. “Okay then, the audition’s next week. We’ll send the script on your dorm once we receive it from the director. You may go now.”
“Have a good day, sir.” Yujin greeted and walked out of the office.

 

Yujin’s currently at a bakery near their dorms when Wonyoung called her.

“Wonyoung? What’s up?” Yujin asked as soon as she picked up the call.
“Shouldn’t I be the one asking you that, unnie? I heard the CEO called you.” Wonyoung asked back.
“Ahh, that.” Yujin picked up a bread that Wonyoung likes as she recounts what happened with the meeting earlier, telling Wonyoung everything.
“Oh my god! You got a project this early! Way to go unnie!” Wonyoung congratulated the older.
“Thanks! And, oh, I’ve got tteokbokki, chicken and bread so don’t go anywhere, alright? We’re celebrating!” Yujin told the younger as she pays for the breads and head home.

Yujin punched in the code for their front door’s lock and as soon as she opened the door, she was greeted by a loud cheer calling for her. A mixture of ‘Unnie!’ and ‘Yujin-ah!’ and a baby tiger that was on the way to hug her. Yujin chuckled as she hugs back Leeseo and hearing a loud shout of ‘Congratulations!’ from her members. Yujin smiled at the girls behind Leeseo.

“Alright, it’s a party!” Yujin then lifted the food that she has on her hands.
Leeseo immediately grabbed the bag for the chicken and looked at the contents. “Unnie bought boneless and bone-in chickens! There’re cheeseballs too! Yaaaay!”

Gaeul couldn’t help but smile and shake her head with Yujin’s thoughtfulness. The members liked their chickens with bones but Gaeul prefers them boneless, Yujin has been doing it for 3 years but she still feels giddy when Yujin does these little things. However, she doesn’t let herself feel more than that as she knows Yujin wouldn’t be able to give her back the feelings she has for her.

 

“Ahhh—I’m full!” – Leeseo
“Thanks for the food!” – Rei
“Unnie, you’re the best!” – Liz
“Yujin-ah, I hope you get more projects in the future so we can have this often.” – Gaeul

The rest of the girls laughed at what Gaeul said but Wonyoung looks confused.

“Won? What’s wrong?” – Yujin
“There’s no dessert?” – Wonyoung

Yujin chuckled at the latter’s love for sweets. “You’re right, I forgot. I’ll buy some at the convenience store nearby.”
“Eh? I could do it! Sit down unnie!” Wonyoung stood up and picked up her wallet.
“How about let’s just go together? You might just buy ice creams.”
“Hey! What’s wrong with ice creams?”
“Nothing wrong but the flavor. You always buy mint choco only.”

Yujin earned a pout from Wonyoung and the rest laughed at the exchange.

“So, let’s go together, okay? It’s dangerous to be alone too.” Yujin then held Wonyoung’s hand and led her outside.

Yujin and Wonyoung decided to go at the nearby park from where the convenience store is as the wind feels good on their skin and they could use a few minutes to admire the stars and the moon. With tubs of 3 flavors of ice cream on one hand, Yujin enjoys her popsicle and Wonyoung bites on hers.

“Unnie..” Wonyoung called out the older.
“Hmm..?” Yujin hummed in response.
“What if you and Minju unnie bumped with each other at the audition?”
“Uh.. what made you ask that?”
“Cause.. you know.. she’s a famous actress now and everybody wants her.”
“Well, that’s true but I doubt I’ll bump into her. Remember, it’s the director of Megapass and he specifically asked for me to the CEO.” Wonyoung only nodded at Yujin’s response.

 

And, well.. Yujin thought wrong. As it’s been a week since then and she’s now seating beside Minju on the audition room with the director in front of them on a long table.

“I’m sorry, both of you.. I know this is an audition but it was a miscommunication on our side. You see.. I have two secretaries and both of them thought of you as soon as the script’s released and contacted you both when I only want one of you..” The director explained.

Yujin smiled at the director. “No problem, director. I don’t know which one of us you specifically asked for but we can just have the audition now.”
Minju did the same thing. “I agree with Yujin-ssi, director. Just let us audition.”

The director wiped a cold sweat that formed on his forehead as he saw the smiles coming from Yujin and Minju. The two of them felt that they were set up somehow but doesn’t have any proof to prove it so as a professional would do, they smile.

“Ahh, then, can we have Minju-ssi go at it first?” The director asked and the two nodded.

Yujin bid Minju a good luck as she goes out of the room for Minju to do her audition. She’ll be lying if she says that she isn’t nervous and threatened. The movie is a romance with a gender bender twist for the girl protagonist’s partner and Minju definitely fits the female protagonist. A gorgeous, graceful girl with an attitude but soft and clumsy inside. It’s exactly what Yujin would use to describe her minus the attitude. There’s a part of her that wants to just give up the role to Minju because up until now, she still got that soft spot for her but she realizes that she has a pride and career to hold and she couldn’t just give up the role, even to someone she loves. Everyone has also referred to her as a prince and she wanted to prove that she can do girlie concepts too and that she is a princess too.

Yujin’s currently rubbing her thumbs together, a habit she adapted through out the years of being IVE’s leader. As a leader, she has a lot on her mind and a few things stressing her. She hadn’t expected that she’ll be a leader who’ll do decisions for her group that will either make them or break them and thankfully she hasn’t messed up yet. Minju opens the door to go out and saw Yujin’s habit.

“Yuj?” Minju called out.
Yujin immediately turned around and saw Minju. “Oh, unnie. You’re done?”
Minju nodded. “Mhmm.. It’s your turn.”
“Thank you for telling me unnie, I’ll go now.”
“Good luck, Yujinie.”

Yujin mouthed a thank you before completely going in, leaving a smiling Minju outside. Both having realizations as things happen. That they might have drifted apart over the years but what they feel for each other is still the same. They spent their 2.5 years together tip toeing about their feelings, never admitted it and used the past 3 years as time to move on but it only took them 15 seconds; those 15 seconds they stared at each other, surprised that they’re on the same audition and not expecting to meet there after 3 years.

 

Yujin knows that she did well with her audition but she couldn’t help but sigh as she walks out of the door. The director has told her that they’ll notify her when they got to choose who’ll be the female protagonist and the other one would have to do the gender bender male protagonist.

“Yujin? How did it go?” Minju asked the younger when she saw her walking out of the door.
“Ahh, unnie. You’re still here?” Yujin asked and Minju nodded. “I think I did fairly well. They said they will contact us when they get to decide who’ll have the female protagonist role.” Yujin sat beside Minju.
“Mhmm.. Good work there, Yujinie.”
“Thank you unnie. You did great too, for sure.”
“Let’s go out now?” Minju asked the younger.
“Sure unnie.”

Both of them had their caps, masks and sunglasses on as they walk towards the parking, careful to not be sighted by the people that’s lining up to audition for other roles. They might have privilege on the audition as they are one of the hottest and most famous personalities right now and the director doesn’t want unnecessary noise before they get to shoot it. The director is fairly popular too that’s why a lot have auditioned for other roles. A role in the movie the director produces means a solid place in the acting world, that’s how famous he is.

Yujin roamed her eyes around the parking lot and a familiar white van isn’t around.

“Oh, unnie. Where’s your car? Is your manager not here yet? Want to wait for him at my van? It’s dangerous here, you might be seen.”
Minju shook her head. “I sent him home.”
Yujin looked at Minju with a confused look. “Oh? Why?”
“I want to go with you.” Minju smiled at Yujin.
Minju’s answer caught her off guard and stared at the older for a few seconds before Minju waved her hand in front of the younger’s face.
“Yujinie? Are you okay? Are you not free?”
“N-no, I mean, I am. I was just surprised.” Yujin responded. “She’s still spontaneous as ever..”
“Then it’s my treat today!” Minju declared as she grabs onto Yujin’s elbow, clinging her hand to the younger and pulling her to the familiar black van of Yujin.

 

Yujin and Minju is currently at the tteokbokki place they went to for IZ*ONE Chu S2 where they ate as 12 and now, they’re coming back with only two of them, it made Yujin somehow sad but happy at the same time since she’ll finally be able to eat from that snack bar again. She very much missed the tteokbokki she enjoyed a few years back and of course, the hotdogs they ate.

Yujin chuckled at the memory and Minju looked at her confused. “Yujinie? Did you just laugh?”
“Ahh, nae. I suddenly remembered Hitomi unnie eating hotdogs here. Let’s go inside?” Yujin invited the older and both of them walked inside the snack bar.

The snack bar’s interior has changed except for the walls where a lot of things are written, including their previous’ groups’ name: IZ*ONE. Both of them sat at the middle table and they smiled as they roamed their eyes around. The same ahjumma who served them from before, served them again today.

“Omo-na, the 12 of you have now come backed here.” – Ahjumma
“Nae? The others have come back as well?” – Yujin
“Of course. The most recent one who went here were Eunbi and Hyewon. I talked to them and it seems like the memory of the 12 of you here is vivid to them up until this day.” – Ahjumma
“Ahh, that’s right. They were going their memory lane because Hyewon unnie was planning to propose to Eunbi unnie back then.” – Minju
“Ahh! That’s right! They were engaged just a few weeks ago. I forgot to send them a gift. Unnie, help me pick one, please?” – Yujin
“Alright then! Leave it to me!” – Minju

Minju’s actually relieved that Yujin’s comfortable enough to ask her to go out. While the younger’s engrossed with her phone, probably talking to her new group’s members, Minju took her phone out and captured a photo of the wall where it says ‘IZ*ONE’ and sent it on their group chat.

Minju: “Guys, guess where I am~”

Eunbi: “Ohhh! Is that the tteokbokki place?!”

Hyewon: “Ya! You finally came back! The ahjumma’s looking for you!”

Minju: “Hehe. I know! We just talked. Hehe”

Chaewon: “Aiya, you should’ve invited me. Why did you go alone?”

Minju: “Who said I was alone? :p”
Minju: sends a photo with Yujin

Yena: “Uri Yujinie?!”

Yuri: “Did you guys reconcile? 👀”

Chaeyeon: “Ya! We talked about not talking about that here!”

Yujin: “Nae! We’re hanging out again!”

Nako: “Did Minju forced you?!”

Hitomi: “Minju-ya, it’s not good forcing someone!”

Minju: “Wha- I didn’t?!”

Yujin: “Well.. is inviting herself to go home with me in my van consider forcing?”

Sakura: “Minju, what did you do to my child?!”

Minju: “Wha-“

Wonyoung: “Yujin-unnie! Should I call the police?!”

Minju: “Wonyoung-ah, do you still like Yujinie?!”
Minju: unsent a message

Chaeyeon: “Ya! Ya! I’ve read that!”

Eunbi: “Minju. -_-“

Yena: “They’re fighting over the giant dog again?”

Yujin: “Giant dog?! Where?!”

 

“Your order is here! Tteokbokki with cheese and 2 hotdogs! Enjoy your meal!”

Both of them stopped chatting with the smell of the tteokbokki. Yujin just ate the same meal last night but she’s still eating with gusto today. She enjoyed it and specially dipped the hotdog on the tteokbokki sauce. Yujin might have matured but her way or eating and her favorites are still the same, Minju smiled with that thought as she takes care of the younger girl in front of her.

“When do you want to go shopping for the gift, Yujin-ah?” Minju asked the younger.
“Well.. When the results come out? I don’t really mind whatever the results are although I’ll be kinda sad if I don’t get the female lead role but what are ice creams for, right?” Yujin answered cheekily.
Minju nodded as she chuckled. “I hope you do get the female lead though; I want to try a new concept. I’ve been doing the same characters, it’s not fun anymore.”
“Hmm.. Nah, you suit the female lead this time, unnie. I’ll think you’ll shine more with it.” Yujin responded while biting her hotdog. “Ah, hot hot!”
“Be careful, Yujin-ah. How many times should the unnies tell you to blow on hot food first? Aigooo.”
“Hehehe. Sorry, unnie.”

They continued eating and asked for fried rice for the left over tteokbokki sauce, ending a perfect meal on the snack bar. With an empty pot, Minju stood up and went to the counter to pay but the ahjumma told her that their food is actually paid already. Apparently, Yujin has seen the snack bar’s QR code next to the register and paid the food in advance.

“Yujin-ah, why did you pay? I said I’ll treat you, right?” Minju whined at the younger.
“That-“ Yujin pointed at the whiny Minju in front of her. “That’s why. It’s fun seeing you all whiny.” Yujin chuckled as Minju had a pout formed on her lips. “And, we could just meet again next time. I’ll let you pay then.”
“You sound strange but okay!” Minju has agreed to the younger and stood up, grabs Yujin’s hand and pulled her out of the snack bar.

 

“So, are we gonna go somewhere or head home?” Yujin asked the older girl as they hop on Yujin’s van.
“Ahh, actually, I have to go now. I have an early schedule tomorrow.” Minju replied as she glances on her phone’s calendar.
Yujin doesn’t know why but she felt somehow sad hearing Minju’s reply. “I’ll drop you off then. Same place?”
“Mhmm.. Same place.” Minju turned to Yujin and smiled.
“Okay!” Yujin smiled back.

 

After a good talk, gossips, updates about their lives and a 25 minutes ride, they finally arrived at the nearest corner of the street to Minju’s place. Minju asked Yujin to drop her there specifically because people might make an issue out of it.

Yujin went down together with Minju, the latter wearing Yujin’s padded jacket. “Aigoo, uri unnie deul, still doesn’t bring her jacket with her even though she knows she gets cold easily.” Yujin shook her head as she fixes the padded jacket, zipping it properly.
“It was in my van, okay?” Minju rolled her eyes. “How about you? Will you be okay? You’re only wearing a long sleeve. I know you look cool but dress more warmly inside next time, okay?”
“Ahh, so you’re admitting I look cool like this?”
“I said a lot of stuff and you only focused on that?!”
Minju’s reaction made Yujin chuckle. “Nae, I’ll wear warmer inner clothes next time.”
“Alright, I’ll go now.”
“Nae, unnie. Take care!”

Yujin made sure Minju entered the street where Minju’s place is located before hopping on her van and made their way back to the dorms. However, when Minju was finally left alone, she roamed her eyes around as she felt a pair of eyes staring at her but saw no one. Minju shrugged it off and continued walking home.

 

Yujin’s currently changing in her room’s en suite bathroom when Liz came in.

“How’s your date, unnie?”
“What date?”
“With Minju unnie. Wonyoung said you were with her today.”
“I did go out with Minju unnie but it’s not a date, alright? We just had food, that’s all.”
“Yeah? And why would you guys be together?”
“We met at the audition.”
“Ahh, the audition.”
“Yep. The audition.”
“Wait, I thought the audition was only for you?”
“I thought so too. When I went there Minju unnie’s already there.”
“Omg, the director set you up!”
“We think so too but we have no concrete proof so, we just let it pass.”
“Omg! The rest has to know about this!”
“Whatever, Ji. You’re just looking for a reason to go to Rei’s room!”

Liz just stuck her tongue out as Yujin lays down comfortably on her bed. “Don’t exaggerate the story, Jiwon-ah!”

A few minutes later, all her members are now on Yujin and Liz’s room, talking about what happened through out the day. Yujin narrated what went on and Liz got some scolding from Gaeul because as expected, Liz has exaggerated a bit of the story.

“So.. eomma, how’s your wife audi—” Wonyoung placed her hand on Leeseo’s mouth to silence their maknae.
“Don’t mind Leeseo, unnie. How’s your audition?” – Wonyoung
“I think it went okay. No matter which character I’ll be playing, it’s still a lead role so it’s not that bad.” – Yujin
“Oh, you guys are doing gender bender, right?” – Liz
“That’s right.” – Yujin
“If I remember correctly, only Wonyoung participated in Toshia Boyfriend, right? And you didn’t?” – Liz
“That’s right! She was in Target, I’m the one who did the boyfriend concept.” – Wonyoung
“We’ll finally see you in a boyfriend concept!” Liz squealed.
“Hey! I still want the female lead role! Don’t jinx it!” - Yujin

 

 

It’s been a few days, Minju and Yujin’s company are having meetings back and forth to how to promote the movie when they finally decided that they would reveal Minju would be shooting a new movie and Yujin would be keeping it for suspense. They’ll use Minju’s fame to grab the initial attention and Yujin’s fame before releasing the movie to seal the anticipation. The two of them relayed it to their IZ*ONE and IVE members to not mention about Minju and Yujin doing a movie together.

Minju and Yujin spent the next few days script reading while the crew prepares the props, lightning and venues for the movie. The two haven’t been together since that day of the audition but they kept in touch chatting and calling each other some days. Both would want to meet but the announcement of Minju’s company about the movie is approaching. They wouldn’t want to be spotted or seen together; the fans might speculate something. It’s not that it’s a bad thing but they have plans set in place, they wouldn’t want to spoil it.

 

It’s about a month in and Minju’s company finally released the news. Some fans were worried because it hasn’t been long since Minju finished a movie and now she’s starring in one again. However, Minju assured them in a live that she’s okay and that she’s looking forward to filming the said movie. She also added that the viewers should look forward to it because she really likes the story a lot… or her co-star, rather but of course she couldn’t say that in public.

Their movie’s script reading is about to happen in a few days and Yujin called Minju, voicing a concern.

“Unnie…” Yujin called the older.
“Oh, Yudings? Why?” Minju replied.
“What should I do about the script reading? We’re supposed to keep my involvement a secret, right?”
“Ahh.. right.. How about.. you wear a disguise? Your role’s a gender bend, right? You wear a male outfit!”
“That makes sense.. I’ll tell my stylist, thank you unnie!”
“No problem!”
“Ahh, there’s one more thing, unnie. When do we buy Eunbi unnie and Hyewon unnie’s gift?”
“Let’s see, Yudings. We’re both busy right now.”
“Okay, okay. How about we go out after the script reading?”
“Okay! Looking forward to it!”
“Nae, unnie!”

Yujin ended the call with a smile on her face. They’ll finally go out again after a few weeks of not meeting and she’s so much looking forward to it.

 

“You’re always gone when I need you. Is that how a “partner” is?!” Minju read the script.
“It’s not that, Arya. Its-“ Yujin read with the deepest and huskiest voice she can muster.
“It’s what? Wrong timing? That you’re busy? Is that it?” Minju quipped. “And I know you’ve been hiding something, Ace. I can tell. You always go home early and you don’t spend nights with me, why?”

The director ended the script reading there, reasoning out that any more than that is already too much spoiler and that he only chose that part of the script because it can be emotional for the reading and instead read them the movie’s synopsis.

“L.A finds herself at the CEO position, disguised as her twin brother; Ace, when he disappeared. One day, Arya barges in the CEO’s office of Ace’s company in search of her missing fiancé; Ace, slapping her for ditching their marriage talks a week ago; the day Ace disappeared.”, Director. “Arya would be played by our Minju, L.A would be played by the person Minju-ssi just had a script reading with. Male version Ace would be played by Yejun and the one disguised as Ace would be played by the same person on the script reading earlier.”

“Mistakenly You.” The director paused. “The movie title is ‘Mistakenly You’.”

The journalists have been asking about the other lead but no one’s answering them and they said they’re keeping the identity for a good reason. Others have been skeptical about it, especially the fans of Minju but they chose to trust Minju for now.

After an hour, they’re finally done. All of them were exhausted, not just because of the activity but because of the flock of people that was on the venue. Yujin couldn’t help but gasp in awe, witnessing Minju’s fame firsthand.  Minju’s one of the famous members of IZ*ONE but the crowd’s different right now. Yujin can’t pin point it but there is a difference, she’s got this feeling, that eyes were on her all the time, following her.

Yujin, Minju and the other artists used a different exit. The swarm of people outside couldn’t be controlled and it’ll be dangerous for the artists to go through there.

Before going on their respective cars, Minju approached Yujin who was still on disguise. Minju flashed her wide smile and poked Yujin’s shoulder. “Yudings~”

Yujin turned around. “Nae, unnie?”

“Are you doing anything today? Let’s go grab Eunbi unnie and Hyewon unnie’s gift?”
“Alright, I’ll make time, unnie. I’ll let my manager know.”
“Okay! Do we go now or do we meet a bit later and change first?”
“I can’t go right away, unnie. I have to go somewhere first but I don’t need to change. This is comfortable.” Yujin grinned.
“I won’t change too then. I’ll text you where to meet later!” Minju shouted as she run towards her car.
“Okay!” Yujin responded.

“There it is again.. the feeling of being watched..” Minju thought as she sits down on her car and roam her eyes around the parking lot only to find no one again.

 

Yujin received a text message from Minju not long after she arrived at her parent’s place, telling to meet on the café on the place where they used to dorm with the others.

“Hi mom! Dad!” Yujin greeted when she got inside and saw her parents leisurely sitting on the couch in their living room.
“Yujin-ah, did you eat? There’s food on the fridge, I can heat it up.”, her mom.
“Ahh, it’s okay mom. I’ll go back later. I’m here to fetch Azzo. I’ll be outside with Minju unnie.” Yujin informed her parents.
“Ohhh, Minju? I haven’t seen her in a long time. Bring her later.”, her dad.
“Hmm.. I’ll try dad. She’s a very famous actress now, remember?”
“That’s part of the reason! I really liked her as a daughter in law and as an actress too, yknow?”
“Wow..” Yujin only gasped, looking at her dad with a face that’s got ‘unbelievable’ all over it.
“Aigo! Don’t mind your dad! Here’s Azzo!”, Yujin’s mom handed Azzo to Yujin to which the latter immediately carried.

 

Yujin texted Minju before securing Azzo on her motorcycle’s back basket that was fitted for Azzo.

 

“Unnie, I’ll be in my motorcycle. I’m bringing Azzo.”

 

“Wow, you look cool with your motorcycle!” Minju praised Yujin as she parks.
“That’s the point, unnie.” Yujin chuckled.
“Hi babyyyy, it’s been so long you haven’t seen noona, right?” Minju cooed as she carries Azzo out of the basket of Yujin’s motorcycle.
“What noona? Aren’t you Azzo’s other mom?” Yujin asked.
Minju just glared at Yujin.
“Okay, okay.. Geez. Come, let’s get your caffeine fix and a pup cup for Azzo.”

The Minju sat near a window where enough sunlight pass through while Yujin orders their food, still with her cap and mask on.

“One iced americano, one iced milk tea and one pup cup. I’ll take those cheese balls, an everything bagel with cream cheese and a slice of a New York cheese cake too.” Yujin recited her orders.
“Is that all, sir?” The woman behind the register asked.
Yujin, quite surprised to be called sir but nodded anyway. “Please get yourself something too.” She replied to the cashier and showed the cashier an eye smile.
Other workers behind the register almost squealed and the cashier? If she could melt, she would’ve melted. “T-thank you for your patronage!”

It didn’t take Yujin a long time before her food was brough to her next to the register and immediately went to where Minju was. Yujin placed their tray of food on the table and sat next to Minju. However, Minju placed Azzo in between them. Yujin was confused but she let it be as they should keep an eye on Azzo when Azzo eats the pup cup.

“Azzo-ya, come to noona~” Yujin showed Azzo the cup with whipped cream and started to feed Azzo when it went over her lap.

Minju started to sip on her iced americano but with a pout. “What noona, I thought we’re Azzo’s parents..” she thought. Yujin’s about to be killed with her curiosity, finally turned to Minju.

“Okay.. That’s it. Why is my Minju unnie getting sulky?” Yujin asked.
“Who’s sulky?” Minju retorted.
“Unnie, you can’t fool me. You almost look like Yena unnie right now with how long your pout is. Now, tell me why are you upset?”  
“Ehhh.. You flirted with that cashier..” Minju said and looked away.
“Was that considered flirting now? I just wanted to be nice… I’ll take note of it. I’m sorry.”
“Pabo- why are you saying sorry?”
“Because… you were upset and I don’t my Minju unnie to be upset?”
“It’s not your fault though…”
“It is though.. You said I flirted with the---” Yujin was cut off with what Minju said.
“It’s not your fault that I’m jealous. It’s because I like you, Yujin-ah.” Minju turned and was shown a surprised Yujin. “I always have, always will. It’s been 6 years, Yujin and we’re gonna work on a project together too. I don’t wanna tip toe around us anymore.”

Yujin just continued to stare at Minju. It has been a good few minutes and Yujin still wasn’t responding so, Minju spoke again.

“But, it’s okay Yujin-ah. We don’t have to date or—” This time, it was Minju that was cut off by Yujin.

“What do you mean we don’t have to date? Who on their right mind would reject THEE Kim Minju?!” Yujin said hurriedly and it made Minju flustered.
“E-ehh..?”
“I liked you too, unnie and I still do too. I thought I have moved on through these years, it was a pain to have no contact with you but I don’t wanna bother you so I didn’t do anything. Heck, my parents like you too. They even asked me to bring you home later for dinner. Unnie, if you accept my parent’s invitation it means we’re dating already, okay? So… Do you wanna go?”
“You don’t even have to ask, Yujin-ah! I’m going! Can we fetch my parents too?”
“Huh? Why?”
“So, we can talk of marriage?” Minju responded.
“Pfft.”, Yujin.
“Why? What’s wrong? Do you hate the idea? I thought you like—”
Yujin gave Minju a peck on her cheeks to stop the older from talking. “Calm down unnie, I’m all in for it but let’s take it easy, okay? We both have careers and contracts to uphold right now. We’ll eventually get there. Let me go to your parents’ house next time.”
Minju with blushed cheeks, nodded.

“Cute…” Yujin thought as she stares at her now girlfriend. “Huh? What’s that?” Yujin thought as she thought she saw a flash. “Might be just my astigmatism playing with the rays of the sun…”

 

Not long after, the new couple and their fur baby are seated on Yujin’s motorcycle.

“Hold tight, unnie.” Yujin grabbed Minju’s hands and encircled them on her waist. “You might fall.”
“Silly.. I already fell..” Minju whispered and it made Yujin chuckle.
“I know, unnie. It’s okay to fall for me more but not on the road, okay?”
Minju buried her head on Yujin’s back and nodded.

When Yujin was sure both Minju and Azzo are safe, she started the engine and sped along the road, on the way to the largest mall they know to look for gifts for their unnies that are about to get married.

 

Yujin’s carrying Azzo on one of her hands and holding Minju’s hand on the other. As expected, Minju’s flustered. She might be the one who confessed and all but Yujin’s aggressiveness is getting to the best of her.

“Unnie?” Yujin called her out.
“N-nae?” Minju stuttered.
“Why are you red? Are you okay? Was it too hot when we were on the motorcycle? Wait, I’ll call my dad to fetch us—”
Minju squeezed Yujin’s hand. “I’m okay, we should get the gift today.”
“Are you sure? There are other more days that we can do it..”
“Yep, I’m sure. Let’s go!” Minju pulled Yujin and started to walk to the line of stores.

 

“What did you get them, unnie?” Yujin asked Minju as they continue to browse for stuff that a newly wed might need in their house.
“I actually don’t have one too.” Minju answered truthfully.
“Oh.. Then, can we just send them one gift but pricier? We’re a couple now anyway.” Yujin suggested.
Minju’s ear twitched ever so slightly. “I- I think we should do just that. We can inform them about us that way too.”
“Oh, that was actually a good idea.” Yujin agreed.

They settled that they should get their unnies an appliance since their unnies told them that they built a house from scratch in a safe neighborhood and the couple thought they might need a helping hand with furnishing their new house.

“Should we get them an oven? Hyewon unnie likes cakes and Eunbi unnie likes cooking.”, Yujin.
“I think they would get that themselves.”, Minju. “How about we think of an appliance that they might need or want but they won’t go out of the way to buy it themselves?”
Yujin nodded. “A massage chair? They might need it both when they’re tired.”
“Good one, Yujinie! Let’s get them the one that works up to their calves and reclines.”
“Okay! I don’t mind buying Eunbi unnie a separate head massager too, she’ll need it considering she’ll marry Hyewon unnie.” Yujin chuckled.
“I like your idea. Let’s share for both.”

It took them 30 minutes to look for the perfect massage chair, both of them tried it but what Yujin said as she was trying it made Minju felt warm forming on her chest.

“I’d like to get us two of these when we have our own house, unnie. These are comfortable.”

 

After a few weeks’ time.

 

“Swan Girls” group chat.

Eunbi: “Omo-na! A gift came to mine and Hyewon’s house.”

Hyewon: “It’s a huge box and it says it came from the An’s and Kim’s.”

Eunbi: “Is this who we think this is..?”

Yuri: “An and Kim? Yujin and Minju?”

Yena: “Why would they share a gift?”

Hitomi: “It’s what couples do here in Japan..”

Sakura: “In Korea too. It’s what Yunjin and Kazuha did when Chaeyeon and I got our own apartment.”

Nako: “Don’t tell me…”

Chaeyeon: “@Yujin @Minju, get your asses over here.”

Wonyoung: “I know nothing of this, unnies.”

Chaewon: “Yep, none at all.”

Yujin: “Oh? The gifts already there? This early?”

Minju: “We should buy our furniture there too, love. Their delivery is fast. Mom said the air fryer Mama An bought for her came today too.”

Yujin: “That’s nice. Did she like it? Mom’s asking for Mama Kim again. Looks like they got along. keke”

Eunbi: “So it’s true?!”

Yena: “Yujin finally moved?! And they’re already together?!”

Hyewon: “That’s as fast as the deliveries.. keke”

Yujin: “For the record, Minju unnie confessed first.”

Minju: “Cause you got the audacity to flirt with others in front of me and Azzo in our favorite cafe!”

Wonyoung: “I’ll guess what Yujin unnie did. She bought the cashier something too, right?”

Minju: “How many girls did you flirt with, Yujin?!”

Yujin: “Wha—I was only being kind??? Unnies, back up???”

Nako: “You’re on your own.”

 

 

Yujin and Minju are now sitting side by side in a taping set for their movie together, with Minju wearing a pretty summer dress and Yujin wearing a buttoned-up polo shirt, obviously on disguise. Their management has decided to film all the gender bend scene first so they can reveal Yujin working on a project soon.

Minju’s wearing a pout on her face when Yujin turned to her and it made the latter chuckle.

“Still sulky about that, love? It’s been almost a month.” Yujin held Minju’s hand.
“I guess hearing Wonyoung knows a lot about you maybe another reason too. I’m just.. kinda jealous, y’know? She knows awfully a lot about you and I don’t since we only—” Minju was cut off with Yujin giving the former’s hand a peck.
“It can’t be helped, love. Let’s make the most of what we have right now instead, okay? I promise you got all of me.” Yujin assured the older and smiled.

 

“Arya! Ace! We’re about to start!” A staff from the movie shoot shouted.

 

Minju and Yujin immediately stood up and jogged to the place they were going to shoot at. However, Yujin felt like she saw a lens flare somewhere and roamed her eyes.. “Prolly the stuff that the director use..” she thought and focused on her work.

 

The director is currently giving instructions to the couple. The scene is about the time that they meet, inside of Yujin’s character: Ace’s office.

 

“Action!” the director shouted and someone moved the slate.

 

Minju speed walked into the door of the office with a glare on her face and when she was in front of Yujin, she slapped the younger and it made a sound. It was evident on Minju’s face that she didn’t mean to put a force to it but Yujin immediately went acting mode.

Yujin had her head sideways with a smirk on her face, not believing that someone just burst open her office’s door and slapped her in a span of minutes. Yujin looked up to Minju with cold eyes.

 

“Cut! Good job!” the director shouted and Yujin immediately relaxed her face and smiled to Minju then to the director next. “That’s the last scene for today, you guys can relax and we’ll see each other in two days!” the staff immediately moved to wrap up whilst Minju remained glued on where she was standing.

 

“Min?” Yujin called out. That’s when she heard a sniff, she immediately walked towards to Minju. “Joo? Love?” Yujin called out again.

“I- I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to put force into it…” Minju explained in between her sniffs. Yujin just smiled and hugged the older.

“Come on, it’s okay.. I know you didn’t mean to. It happens when actors are on trance.” Yujin’s rubbing the back of Minju as the latter hug the former back tightly.

 

Little did they know that a camera was focused on them and recording what transpired that time.

 

Minju and Yujin managed to film half of the scenes where Yujin would need to disguise herself and now they’re on their 2 days rest. The couple went home that day on the An household. They were supposed to spend it on Minju’s apartment but mama An asked Yujin to bring Minju. Yujin isn’t sure anymore if she’s really her parent’s daughter because of how frequent they ask for Minju.

 

“Minju-ah! Aigo, your eyes are puffy. Are you okay?” Mama An asked Minju worriedly. Yujin gently squeezed Minju’s hand, re-assuring her that what happened earlier is okay.
“Yes, mom. I’m okay. It was the taping.” Minju gave Mama An a smile.
“Okay, okay. Go on Yujin’s room, wash up and rest. I’ll cook dinner.” – Mama An.
“Where’s dad?” Minju asked.
“He’s probably with his friends right now. Your drama just ended, right? He doesn’t have anything to watch by this hour.” Yujin chuckled.
“Aigo, Yujin and her dad’s like copy paste. They’re the same even with you.”, Mama An told Minju and the latter chuckled.
“Ma, we’re going inside now, I’ll come help later.” Yujin told her mom as she and Minju make their way to Yujin’s room.
“It’s okay, kids! Just take a rest!”

 

“Yudings…”
“Hmm?” Yujin hummed as she scans through her wardrobe for clothes that Minju can changed into.
“I’m really sorry…”
“Love.. I told you it’s okay, right? It doesn’t hurt too. I’m okay. See?” Yujin turned to Minju and showed her cheeks.
“I was so emotional I forgot to adjust my force… I’m sorry..” Minju’s about to tear up again.
“I love you.” Yujin pulled Minju to a hug, it made the latter cry. Yujin kept Minju tight on her arms until the latter calmed down. “Let’s change first, okay? You can rest after changing. I’ll help you.”

Minju nodded and Yujin carried her into her room’s wardrobe to change then to her bed after.

Yujin stayed with her girlfriend on the bed cuddled up until the latter fell asleep. She knew the older girl would need more than just word of assurance. Yujin understood where Minju was coming from. She knew that when we’re too emotional, we sometimes cannot function well and that’s what happened with Minju. Minju didn’t have time to process her emotions hence why she wasn’t able to adjust the force on her hand. What’s important to Yujin is that Minju knew what went wrong so the older can work on it and Minju’s regretful as well. It was enough for Yujin.

Yujin joined her mom after she made sure that Minju was comfortably sleeping. She tucked her in and left a peck on top of Minju’s head.

“Hey mom, need help?” Yujin asked Mama An.

Her mom turned away from the soup she’s cooking. “Not really, dear. I’m almost done with the soup and you know me, I’d rather cook by myself. You always alter the taste when I cook.” Mama An shoot a sharp look on her daughter and the latter just chuckled and just in time, Yujin’s dad arrived home.

 

“Minju-ah, Yujin-ah, are you guys planning on revealing your relationship on public?” Yujin’s dad asked and the couple looked at each other.
“We have plans but not right now.”, Yujin.
“We’re still waiting for a good timing, dad. We’re both busy with our movie and it might take a while.”, Minju.
“I see. Make sure to bring your parents next time, Minju-ah. I miss hanging out with my in laws.” Yujin’s mom chuckled.
“Yes, of course ma. She’s enjoying the air frier you gave her too.”, Minju answered after a chuckle.

 

Yujin took on the role of washing the dishes and Minju’s wiping them and putting them on the cupboards.

“Love, how about we go home to my parents tomorrow?”, Minju.
“Okay. Can we bring Azzo?”, Yujin.
“We really should, my sister said mom misses Azzo a lot.”
“Wow, seems like you’re getting evicted from your own house.” Yujin chuckled.
“Yah-“ Minju pouted.

Yujin turned to Minju and proceeded to put suds on the latter’s nose. “Cute.”

“Yah yah, An Yujin, come back here!” Minju with suds on her hands too is currently chasing the big puppy as Azzo runs around as well, thinking it was play time.
“Come on, love. Try to get it on me!” Yujin made a face and ran away, circling the dinner table.

After a few minutes, Yujin slowed down, afraid that she might hit Azzo and there Minju tackled the taller.

“Gotcha!” With Minju now on top of the tumbled Yujin, the former filled the face of the latter with suds which the latter, pouted.
“This ain’t fair, I only put a little amount on you.” Yujin continued pouting then pulled a cheeky grin and pressed her cheeks against Minju’s.
“Yah, yah!” Minju complained but not long after, laughed at how silly they probably looked right now.

Yujin pulled Minju into a tight hug as she laughs, completely laying down on the floor. “I love you, Min. Nobody and nothing can change that.”

Minju lifted her head to look at Yujin’s face that’s now painted with a smile. “I love you more, Jin.”

Their lips are about to meet when Azzo jumped on them, snuggling. The two chuckled, had a chaste kiss and included Azzo on their little hug.

 

The next day, they spent the day at the Kim’s. Just lazily laying around all day, watching a movie with Minju’s parents, going out for a walk on the nearby park and cooking together. Not much different from their time at the An’s specially with the topic when they were at the dinner table eating dinner.

 

“Yujin-ah, Minju-ah.” Mama Kim called them and the couple turned their head to focus on mama Kim.
“Are you guys going to announce your relationship on the public?” As soon as mama Kim finished the couple looked at each other.
“Mom, you literally asked us the same question as Mama An. Did you guys talk about this?” Minju asked.
 

Yujin held Minju’s hand, sensing that her girlfriend’s about to get worked up. The topic’s kind of heavy as they still live in a conservative and misogynistic Korea and to top it all off, one’s a famous idol and one’s a famous actress and at their peak of career. And as if Yujin’s reading their parent’s thoughts, she replied.

 

“Mom, dad, I know you guys are worried about us. I feel your support and I’m really thankful but you don’t have to worry about us. If you guys want to brag about having Yujin the famous idol as your in law, it’s okay.” Yujin made the older couple chuckle. “But we’re still looking for a great timing to reveal it. We still can’t do it right now because of the movie we’re still shooting but as soon as the timing’s right, I’d be the first one to announce it. You don’t have to worry about Minju, she’s safe with me.” Yujin continued and she felt a light squeeze on her intertwined hand with Minju which prompt the former to look at the latter fondly.

Papa Kim chuckled and the young couple looked at him with faces as if asking what’s funny.

“Nothing. Its just you guys look like those teenagers who’s so in love with each other. I can see it in your eyes how much you guys love each other.” Minju had an obvious blush on her face after her father finished what he was saying. It’s one thing when you get the comment from other people but it’s another when you get it directly from people that raised you and it definitely made Minju embarrassed but proud at the same time.

“Dad, I think she’s embarrassed.” Yujin told the older and chuckled.

 

Their vacation ended and they went back to shooting the movie. There weren’t a lot of scenes for Minju but there’s quite a bit for Yujin who’ll be acting with Yejun, her brother on the movie. Some scenes that were backflashes and some scenes that happened to Yejun whilst L.A was disguised as him.

There were a lot of scenes that showed L.A and Ace’s past, being in the same house and kind of close towards each other. Playing basketball or console games that both have enjoyed since they were younger.

It was fine for Minju, she wasn’t really that much jealous. She’s learned to accept that Yujin had to do those scenes too just like she did since they’re both in the same line of work but she wouldn’t deny that there’s a little jealousy in her. Just like how Yujin were when Minju does scenes that she’s close to someone, specially of the opposite gender.

Minju got to film some scene, of how her character got into the equation of the Hughes family (L.A and Ace’s) but aside from that there were only a few other scenes that she had to shoot that day thus her day was composed of waiting for Yujin to be done.

 

As soon as Yujin was done filming, she jogged to her girlfriend who looks unbothered and sleepy instead of the pouty look that she was expecting.

“Oh? You’re done?” Minju asked with a smile and stood up to meet her girlfriend halfway to give her a towel.

Yujin hummed. “Were you bored?” Yujin grabbed the towel and immediately wiped her face and nape.

“Isn’t your disguised hot? Aish.. that director had to film you in the disguised when the sun is at it’s peak.” Minju complained to Yujin.

Yujin chuckled. Other people find this kind of girlfriends annoying but not Yujin. She finds Minju the cutest when she complains and pout, specially when she complains for her. “Eh, well.. We needed the scene to be sunny, ig?”

“Yeah, sure.. I bet the director only wants to film you in that heat so there’s swear on your face. So he can upload a behind the scenes and show how hard working you are.” Minju sat on her seat with a pout.

“Well, don’t you like that? To see your girlfriend working hard?” Yujin asked as she sits next to Minju.

“I want to but he doesn’t have to do it like this right? It was particularly so hot today.”, Minju.

Yujin chuckled. “Stop sulking, I’m fine, he’s going to hear from my agency if ever something happened to me here so don’t worry, okay?” Yujin pressed a kiss on top of Minju’s head.

Minju found the gesture to be moving so a warmth immediately spread through her chest but that all changed when both her and Yujin looked to their right.

“You heard that too?” Yujin asked Minju.

“Yeah.. I’ve been seeing and hearing flashes a lot. I thought it was only the crew’s equipment…” Minju answered Yujin.

“This can’t be. We’ll have a talk with the director.” Yujin told Minju was about to get up when Minju held Yujin’s hand and pulled her back.

Yujin turned to look at Minju. “Love?”

“I thought of something.. Can you cooperate?” Minju told Yujin.

Yujin wasn’t sure of what’s Minju’s plans but the older never does anything that she wasn’t sure so she’d trust her this time too.

 

Trough out the next few shoots, Yujin and Minju would deliberately act too clingy, intimate and close with each other. Minju’s guessing that the paparazzi now probably has at least a gigabyte of photos with how often Minju and Yujin would actually hang out on set.

 

The staff of the movie has just announced on their social media that they just finished shooting all the scenes and some have already been edited. The trailer would be out in 2 weeks’ time and the movie’s expected to come out after 3 months’ time.

 

“Isn’t the post production of the movie super fast if it’s expected to come out in 3 months’ time?” Minju read a comment on her Instagram Live.

“I think post production this time is quite big because another company’s helping with it.” Minju answered then smiled after.

Minju’s reading comments, as usual, it was filled with people telling her how they love or miss her or how pretty she is and a particular one’s being spammed.

“Spoiler.. Hmm..” Minju hummed. “I really can’t say a lot but you guys need to expect a big surprise.” Minju chuckled.

Somebody poked Minju on her shoulder, a signal that she should end the live there. Minju did a capture time before ending it.

 

“Geez.. You two really need a lot of attention, no?” Minju spoke when she turned around, seeing Yujin and Azzo laying on her bed.

“I’m not gonna deny, Azzo might, though..” Yujin replied in a chuckle.

“Love, would we be okay if the paparazzi posted our photos?” Yujin asked, staring at her girlfriend.

“We will be. I’ve got the director on cahoots with my plan.” Minju gave Yujin a re-assuring smile.

“Whoa.. how’d you do that?”

“Let’s just say that I convinced him to help us or else I’d make you tell Starship about what he did back at the audition.”

“Scary~” Yujin jokingly said and immediately, Minju sulked. It made Yujin chuckle and pulled the older girl into the bed, hugging her tightly on top of her.

 

And the day that Yujin asked Minju about, came.

An anonymous account posted an article about Minju and her co-star being intimate on set. They even hinted that the guy in the photo might be Yejun, the actor who played the male ‘Ace’.

The director called every staff into a meeting, including Minju, Yujin and Yejun. However, Yujin came without her disguise because she was in the middle of preparing for another comeback with IVE. Minju and Yujin walked, hand in hand.

“Excuse me, Minju-sshi but your friends aren’t allowed in this meeting.” A female staff scolded Minju.

However, before Minju can even say anything, the director walked into the room.

“Oh, Yujin, Minju, have a seat.” The director offered.

“Director, Yujin-sshi isn’t part of the movie whatsoever, why is she here?” the same woman asked as Yujin sat.

The director didn’t listen to the said woman and instead looked at his secretary. “Where’s the list of the staff who allowed the paparazzi inside the filming site?”

“Here you go director.” The secretary handed the director a folder, filled with photos of the complaining woman earlier conversing and what looked like an exchange of money.

“As you can see, there are people on our staff that doesn’t have good intentions. It was necessary to withhold information. There wasn’t a lot of the staff who knew that Yujin’s part of our movie all along.” the director then looked at the same woman who scolded Minju. “Minju-sshi, what do you want to do with her?”

“Well.. our lives weren’t threatened..” Minju paused, holding on to Yujin’s hand. “I don’t wish to do anything, an apology would do. My company would back me up on my decision.”

The woman sighed, filled with relief.

“You should talk with Starship though.” Minju continued.

“Starship…?” the woman asked.

“Yeah, my company.” Yujin chimed in. “I’m the one in the photos with Minju, not Yejun. I play both L.A and the disguised Ace in the movie.”

“I- I’m sorry.. I didn’t know.. I was asked to be replaced by the director before any scenes of L.A were shot.. I’m really sorry, Yujin-sshi.” The woman apologized.

“You’re only sorry cause you got caught.” Minju retorted.

Yujin squeezed Minju’s hand, calming down the older.

 

The meeting ended with how the director wanted. They will refute the photos that are circulating, revealing that it’s Yujin and that Yujin’s actually a part of the movie. However, when Yujin scanned the photos from the article, one photo caught her attention.

 

“Love..” Yujin called out as soon as Minju and her got back to Minju’s apartment.

“Hmm?”

“What’s this photo?” Yujin showed Minju a photo where the latter’s with Yejun.

Minju turned and looked at the photo with a confused face, trying to remember something..

“Remember when Yejun-sshi and I had a scene together?” Minju started.

Yujin hummed, listening intently.

“He talked to me after. He called me out to the back of the building, he.. he actually asked if he can get my number.”

Yujin’s eyebrow shot up.

“I asked first why he wanted it, of course. He told me that he’s been crushing on me since that role I had at the historical drama and wanted to get to know me more. I told him that he could get my number but I don’t plan on cheating.”

Yujin smiled at Minju’s answer.

“He was a bit confused but he got the meaning anyway. He didn’t ask who I’m dating but I said I’m dating you.”

“AHH- that was why he wasn’t surprised at the meeting earlier! He was in it all along!” Yujin exclaimed, realization hitting her.

Minju nodded with a smile on her face. “Big brain moves, right?”

“Truly!” Yujin hugged her girlfriend.

“Not only we save money for the marketing since the paparazzi actually did it for us, we get to announce our relationship too.”

Yujin pulled back and looked at Minju with a worried face. “You sure about announcing it now? I know you already cemented your place on the acting world but you’re only starting now, love.”

Minju nodded. “I’m sure.” Minju then cupped Yujin’s cheeks. “I don’t like hiding, Yuj. I want to shout to the world that the one and only An Yujin is mine. I don’t like sharing you.” Minju pouted.

Yujin chuckled. “You actually heard about the rumor? I thought Starship moved pretty quickly to delete the articles.”

“An Yujin, I have eyes on the entertainment world 24/7 to catch and observe the trend. Nothing get pasts her.”

“You mean Yuri unnie, don’t you?” Yujin chuckled.

Minju nodded. “With Tomi and Nako.”

 

After the director and production crew denied the rumors and claims that the paparazzi came up with, Starship released a statement that An Yujin has just finished filming a movie prior to her group’s comeback preparation. Minju’s publicity plan’s doing better than they were expecting, the production team barely had to do the hard work to promote the movie because the moment An Yujin was revealed to be participating in the movie and actually plays one of the lead roles, three fandoms were on uproar. Some are bragging, most were happy and some are emotional.

 

However, a few days later, some fans pointed out that Yujin and Minju are ‘too’ intimate in the photos. Some argued that it was actually a publicity stunt by the production crew hence the need to be intimate, some argued that it was actually normal for the duo and have been like that since they were together in IZ*ONE. However, those were all buried when a fan pointed out a certain photo. Saying that the one Minju was talking to wasn’t An Yujin. Yujin and Yejun might look alike but it definitely wasn’t her in the photo.

 

Before UrbanWorks or Starship can even comment on it, Yejun’s company already released a statement saying that it was indeed him and told the truth. That he actually asked Minju out that time but the woman rejected her and are good friends.

Some expressed their disappointment because Yejun and Minju would actually look like a good couple. Both with the visuals and talent, they might even be the couple of the year.

 

After 3 months…

“The movie Minju unnie and Yujin unnie filmed is now out! Has anyone watched it? It’s actually good!” Wonyoung captioned her twitter post, supporting her unnies.

“Thank you for promoting it, Wonyoung-ah.” Minju thanked the younger.

IZ*ONE, IVE and LE SSERAFIM members and some of their staff are now gathered in a theater that Minju and Yujin rented for the showing of their movie. They wanted to thank the people close to them for the support and also to show them the fruit of their labor.

The movie ran for almost 2 hours. Some of the girls teased the two but most were all smiles.. particularly Eunbi and Sakura who looked like a proud moms of the two, earning a chuckle from everyone.

 

However, before the day ends, another article targeting Minju was released. This time, the photos showed Minju going down of a black van, someone zipping her jacket for her with a caption saying it might be her “boyfriend”.

“There’s another set of photos.”, Yujin.

Minju got close to the younger and looked at the photos.

“Wasn’t that just today? When we went home from the cinema?”, Minju.

“Somebody’s stalking you, love. Should we get additional security for you?” Yujin asked with a worry.

“For you too. Let’s talk to our agencies.. I think it’s time, Yuj..”

 

The next morning, Minju and Yujin spent their morning disguising themselves to go to a joint meeting between their agencies.

The two came clean with their relationship. Although knowing that South Korea still has issues with celebrities dating and same couples, the two are confident that they’ll survive the backlash if ever there’s one and thus both companies released a statement at the same time.

UrbankWork’s statement contains the confirmation of Minju’s romantic relationship with someone but denied the rumor of Minju having a boyfriend and that the one on the photos is actually Yujin.

Starship’s statement is a confirmation of UrbanWork’s statement. Both agencies have openly talked that it’s about time that the two date openly in public and have asked the fans to wish the couple the best and that they’d work harder to give a more quality work in the future.

 

The couple did get backlash but it was smaller than what they expected. Their friends and families celebrated and congratulated them of braving it together and admitting it in the public. The most ecstatic ones are the couple’s parents, saying they get to brag about them now.

 

4 years after..

The couple has starred in a couple more dramas after that, together or having their own movies as the sole lead roles. Yujin has renewed her contract with her agency regardless if her members follows her or not(they actually followed her), saying that she owes Starship a lot of things.

Minju stayed on UrbanWorks, however, the agency was actually acquired by Starship after the agency rose their stock prices, thanks to Yujin and Minju.

The announcement of the couple’s relationship and their bravery captured the hearts of a lot of people. Shortly after the couple announced it, others have gone forward, changing the trajectory the country’s treatment towards others. There remains some people that has something to change but the couple won’t let it get to them.

Rumors and issues loved the couple. It has followed them everywhere, there would be times where either Minju or Yujin would be too tired to deal with it and there are times where it became so serious that they almost broke up but as Yujin would always say..

“I might get tired but I’m not gonna give up on you, love.. Not back then, not now.. not after everything we have done and went through. Nothing and no one can make me give up on you.” Yujin started her vows. “I’d be here. I’d stick with you like a perilla leaf soaked in your good ‘ol soy sauce marinade.”

Yujin and Minju both chuckled.

“I know how hard it must be to deal with me. Thank you for putting up with it all this time.” Minju started her vows with a smile on her face.

Yujin shook her head. “You’re not hard to love, the people who told you that just doesn’t know how to love and treat you properly.”

“I’m thankful for your patience and tolerance but can you please allow me to finish my vows?”, Minju.

Yujin chuckled and nodded, signaling the older to continue.

“There are times where I’d have a hate and love relationship with oceans and engines for taking you away on times that you have overseas concerts and events but I realize who am I to complain? You never complained about my schedules and when you do, you complain for me, saying I overwork.. You say that I should learn how to rest but you’re equally packed with schedules, not just filming but doing idol work too but I know we kept on working so we can have this wedding we’ve always wanted.” Minju roamed her eyes around the venue.

Yujin and Minju rented out a private island and flew their family and friends for the best memory they’ll have in their lifetime.

“We can rest for a while now, love.” Yujin smiled and rested her forehead against Minju’s.

Not long after, the priest cleared their throat. “Yujin and Minju will now exchange rings as a symbol of love and commitment to each other.”

Yujin held Minju’s hand and placed the ring in the latter’s ring finger. “As a sign of my love.. that I have chosen you, above all else. With this ring, I thee wed.”

Minju repeated the same words and action that Yujin did.

“And now by the power bested in me, it is my honor to declare you married.” The priest started. “You may now seal this marriage with a kiss.”

It wasn’t the first time the people on the venue saw the couple kiss but this is the time that all of them are pumped and emotional about it. The couple rested their foreheads together with smiles on their faces.

 

“If you told the Yujin 9 years ago that she’ll get to marry her favorite unnie, she’ll probably scoff and call you liar.” Yujin told Minju and chuckled.

Minju chuckled as well. “Well, why do you bring up the past often these days?”

“I’m thankful for it. I agree that we should appreciate the present cause from the word itself, it is a gift but not a lot are lucky to have a past like we do. Hence why I’m very thankful for it and feel very nostalgic.”

“Thank you for the film we auditioned for then. It unexpectedly brought us back together.”

“The film and the past, huh..”

Minju hummed.

“Let’s send the director a gift when we get back.” Yujin replied and the couple chuckled.

“Hey lovebirds! Quit being sappy! We’re hungry, let’s go!” Hyewon shouted.

“Ugh- Hyewon unnie!” Minju complained. “Even on my wedding?!”
