Yay, new story!

Let's Get It.

"Soooooooooooo Joohyun," Yongsun started off suddenly, her drawling voice cutting through the air, abruptly halting any distractions, "Where's your hot mommy at?" She asked while she curiously surveyed around the small, yet homey complex, her eyes wandering across the cozy room adorned with an array of charming decorations plastered around.

The Bae household was surprisingly wide and spacious given the modest exterior. Walls were decorated with framed photographs of the Bae siblings together along with some sporadic photos of their late parents, along with some whimsical artwork that were scattered around here and there in a tasteful fashion which emanated a warm, intimate, and comfortable atmosphere for many to relax and unwind to. The scent of vanilla candles was very distinct and added to the inviting atmosphere.

Joohyun and all her friends, Seulgi, Seungwan, Jennie, and Yongsun were all situated on the sectional couch in the middle of the room conversing with each other and catching up, while attempting to do their homework but was failing spectacularly at it when Solar popped the question out of the blue.

Everyone looked at the questioning Seoul-native in bemusement, halting their personal conversations with each other. Then all eyes turned in attention to the person questioned, awaiting her response.

Bae Joohyun, who was engrossed with the book that lay open on her lap, was taken aback by the sudden interruption and attention. She look at her friend with raised, narrowed eyes. The words on the page blurred as Yongsun's question pierced through the quietude. Joohyun visibly frowned as her brows furrowed when she heard her friend ask that question.

It's not like her friend is wrong. Of course, Joohyun couldn't deny that her beloved unnie possessed a mesmerizing and absurd allure, a beauty that transcended above conventional standards with an even more loving personality.

From a tender age, her unnie had been blessed with an enchanting magnetism that captivated the gazes of strangers. Joohyun reminisced about those countless occasions where people would often seem like they were put under a spell by her sister's ethereal presence and openly and unabashly gawk, shamelessly staring at Eunbi whenever they would go out. Their undeserving eyes fixated and ogled on her older sister's radiant and graceful aura.

It was both equally amusing and annoying to witness couples momentarily forget their own partners, their faces contorted with disappointment and suppressed rage, offended by their significant other's wandering eyes, and the distinct, high-pitched yelling that quickly came after. She could almost picture their frustrated and enraged expressions, as they futilely attempted to regain their lover's attention.

But to hear one of her closest friends compliment her older sister like that, rubbed the 13-year old the wrong way. Yongsun's unintended compliment pierced through Joohyun's heart, eliciting an unwelcome pang of discomfort. The constant of that phrase, coupled with the prevailing idea that her unnie was her mom of all things struck a nerve within the eldest in the group, upsetting her briefly and only served to further fuel her agitation.

Her unnie would never, ever, ever be a mother to her.

It's not like it's the first time she heard that moniker before, not just her friends would constantly harp that stupid nickname to existence, but even passerby students who're about to leave school for the day for home or club activities would contuiously comment that to her older sibling whenever she comes by and picks her up would often say that too! Like a persistent shadow, that label clung to her unnie, for years.

But Joohyun's emotions ran deeper than mere frustration. The underlying issue simmered beneath the surface, extending beyond the shallow assumptions and ill-fitting labels. Joohyun's unease ran deeper, a discomfort in the way others perceived and described her older sister. It wasn't merely a matter of wanting to shield her from inappropriate compliments like "hot" or "y."

No, there was something more intricate at play.

The main reason, other than that dumb pseudonym is that Joohyun really doesn't want to acknowledge and admit that her unnie, was related to her in any familial way.

Joohyun wants something more than that. To reach the next level of her already strong relationship, past all of the biological and blood related ideas and the labels that society imprints on them to the true love that Joohyun seeks with her unnie, and her unnie only.

Within Joohyun's heart, a fierce longing burned, an unspoken desire to transcend the confines of conventional familial ties. She yearned for a connection that surpassed the expectations and constraints imposed by society's predetermined notions of family. It was a quest for a love that transcended bloodlines, that moved beyond the boundaries of the mere boundaries of sisterhood.

In the depths of her being, Joohyun sought a more romantic, and intimate relationship with her unnie. She yearned for a love that was uniquely theirs, one that defied categorization and surpassed the constraints of societal labels. It was a deeper connection that delved into the realms of intimacy and understanding, where their souls would intertwine, unburdened by the weight of typical expectations.

In the quiet recesses of her heart, Joohyun harbored a secret wish—to traverse the path beyond family and discover a love that was both tender and passionate, reserved solely for her unnie. It was a desire that went beyond the trappings of biology, beckoning them towards a realm of pure and unconditional affection.

Yet, like a fragile bud yearning to bloom, Joohyun held these sentiments close, guarding them from the prying eyes of the world. For she knew that their journey towards a deeper connection would require time, vulnerability, and the delicate dance of mutual understanding. In her heart, Joohyun carried the flickering flame of hope, a beacon guiding them towards the realm of love that she yearned for—a love that existed only between her and her unnie.

"First of all, don't call my unnie 'hot,' and secondly, she's probably at work right now." As Yongsun's words lingered in the air, Irene's voice, tinged with a flicker of anger and growl, pierced through the air, carrying with it the weight of her emotions. Her initial annoyance slowly dissipated, giving way to an ache that resonated in the depths of her being with her fiery aura quickly morphing to a gloomy and depressed one, with a visible hint of sadness surrounding her.

The void left by her absent sister seemed to expand, consuming her thoughts and overshadowing her momentary ire.

Yongsun, caught off guard by Irene's reaction, attempted to defend herself, her voice tinged with nervousness and trepidation. "Oh come on, Joohyun, relax! It's just a compliment and I have eyes dude! Eunbi-unnie is such a hottie, and bad as hell, you know that." She dared not meet Joohyun's gaze after admitting the truth, keenly aware of the protective fire that burned within the oldest of their little ragtag group. The well-intentioned compliment turned into an uneasy exchange, knowing how scary possessive the oldest in the group can get when it came to anything related to her sister.

Amidst the tension, Jennie's voice chimed in, softly offering her support, "And she's super cool as well." Jennie popped in quietly, voicing her opinion as well.

"Thanks Jennie," Grateful, Solar mumbled her gratitude to her. She was appreciative of her same-age friend who defended her and diverted any attention from her terrifying friend's piercing glare. Joohyun glared hard with a mix of annoyance and gritted teeth at the Seoul-girl before rolling her eyes and letting it go, eventually.

Silence overcame the group, Joohyun chose to withold her own thoughts of agreement with her friend as voicing it could inadvertently feed into inflating her friend's already huge and swelling ego.

It was undeniable that people were naturally drawn and gravitate to the radiant allure of Joohyun's stunning sister. Her physical beauty alone was enough to capture attention, but it was her genuine, loving, and maternal nature that truly set her above everyone. There was an unmistakable aura of captivating energy that surrounded her, effortlessly drawing people in and ensnaring them with her charm and grace.

Joohyun couldn't help but imagine what would happen if others truly knew her sister's qualities. Lines of suitors, both men and women, would probably form, each vying for her attention and seeking to win her hand.

And that was something Joohyun absolutely didn't want.

It was an image that unsettled her, stirring a mix of protective instincts and a burning desire for her sister's happiness with her own two hands.

"Yeah..." Joohyun absentmindedly agreed, her voice tinged with a mix of possessiveness and jealousy that she struggled to suppress. In her heart, Bae Eunbi belonged to her and her alone. Joohyun's love for her sister ran deep, easily surpassing any connection she shared with others. Joohyun knows her eldest sister like the back of her hand, inside and out. They had an unbreakable bond, a promise to never keep secrets and to always be open, honest, and transparent with one another.

But this was a secret that Joohyun held close, one that she felt her sister wasn't quite ready to hear. It was a delicate truth that she believed needed the right time and circumstances to be revealed. Perhaps when Joohyun was older, or when Eunbi can stop picturing her as a baby sister who needs help 24/7.

The idea of withholding information and telling white lies from her sister made her skin crawl, and continually gnawed at Joohyun's conscience. She grappled with the moral quandary of whether the end justified the means.

Was it acceptable to keep certain things hidden from her unnie for the betterment of their relationship?

Was the journey itself more important than the destination they sought?

Joohyun pondered these questions a lot in her free time, her mind and heart at odds with each other. She firmly believed in the importance of both the journey and reaching her ultimate goal.

She wanted to make their path together as pleasurable and memorable as possible, cherishing every moment they shared.

Yet, deep down, her gaze remained fixed on the final destination, an ending that she desired with unwavering determination.

All she has to do is influence and push her way to the ending that she wants.

And she'll do anything to get to that final destination.

"Anyways, she should be coming back soon." Irene remarked, glancing at the clock as the daylight slowly faded into dusk, which is usually the time when her beloved sister returns from work. Joohyun had to bite her lip in order to hide her bubbling excitement and surge of anticipation, her excitement for her unnie's presence bubbling beneath the surface. She already missed her Eunbi dearly, yearning for her presence.

The time she spent with Eunbi had always been the highlight of Joohyun's life. Even from a young age, they had forged a bond like no other. Eunbi had taken Joohyun under her wing, inseparable and attached to the hip as they journeyed through life together. Whether it was a small trip to the supermarket, a playful visit to the playground, or hanging out with Eunbi's friends, Joohyun was always by her side. And Eunbi showered her with doting affection and attention, creating a loving and inclusive atmosphere that Joohyun cherished and gobbled up. Every ounce of praise and care from her older sister was like a sweet melody to Joohyun's ears, filling her with a sense of belonging and adoration.

Their special bond had formed long before the tragedy of their parents' passing. Joohyun found solace and joy in following her unnie around, like a duckling imprinted upon its protector. The moments they spent together were genuinely fun and meaningful, creating memories that would forever be etched in sibling's heart.

Eunbi wasn't just Joohyun's older sister; she was her best friend, her confidante that she could share everything with, and someone that she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Joohyun trusted her completely, knowing she could share her deepest thoughts and secrets without fear of judgment. Eunbi's unwavering support and love gave Joohyun the motivation to persevere, even when life threw its toughest challenges her way.

Eunbi was the beacon of light that guided her through the darkest nights, inspiring Joohyun to keep pushing forward, to strive for success and reap the rewards of her hard work.

The admiration and respect Joohyun held for her older sister were unwavering. Eunbi embodied strength, resilience, and unwavering love. She was the embodiment of everything Joohyun aspired to be.

With Eunbi by her side, Joohyun felt invincible, ready to conquer any obstacle that dared to block her path.

As the clock ticked closer to Eunbi's return, Joohyun's heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and gratitude. She knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, as long as she had her sister by her side, she could face anything that life threw her way. The bond they shared was unbreakable, a lifeline that would carry them through the highs and lows, united in their pursuit of happiness and fulfillment.

Even after the untimely passing of their parents, the bond between Joohyun and Eunbi remained unshakable. If anything, their shared loss had drawn them even more closer than ever before, igniting a deep desire to be in each other's company and cherishing every moment spent together as the only remaining family ties they had left, becoming their sole source of comfort and strength.

In the solemn atmosphere of the funeral following the melancholic proceedings of their parents wake, Joohyun couldn't help but notice a flicker of beautiful blazing, burning passion within her beloved unnie—a fire that held a mysterious allure, yet remained enigmatic in its origin. At that time, she couldn't quite grasp its meaning, but the intensity of her unnie's presence enveloped her, drawing her closer. Joohyun found solace and contentment in the increased time they spent together, spending precious moments with her sister, finding contentment in their shared companionship in the midst of their loss and grief.

So far.

However, as the years unfolded, a subtle shift began to stir within Joohyun. In the depths of her being, she started to notice her sister in a whole new light. The simplest of gestures—touches, stares, eye contact, an intimate conversation, or even skinship—now held a different meaning and sent shivers down Joohyun's spine, leaving her flushed and breathless, setting her heart ablaze and leaving her flustered yet yearning for more.

These acts of affection began to awaken something deeper within Joohyun.

A longing grew within her, craving all of her unnie's attention and savoring the pleasure that came from their physical closeness. Each tender touch sent butterflies dancing in her stomach, her body melting under the warmth of their connection whenever they are physically close. Sensations awakened in her, stirring a desire that reached beyond the boundaries of familial love.

Though Eunbi remained the same caring, kindhearted, and attentive sister that she had always been, these acts of affection began to awaken something deeper within Joohyun. These interactions took on a new significance, stirring something profound within Joohyun.

Joohyun had come to realize that her affection for Eunbi had blossomed into something romantic, a love that ran deeper and more passionate than conventional family relationships.

Her desires evolved from the familiar bonds of siblings to a realm of romantic and fathomless affection. No longer could Joohyun see her unnie through the lens of selfless devotion and sibling love alone.

From that moment on, Joohyun could no longer view her unnie as just a kind, compassionate sister. Instead, she glimpsed a woman who stirred a passion within her, Eunbi had transformed in her eyes, evolving into a woman she longed to spend her entire life with.

Joohyun could practically envision a future where they would be united in matrimony, a future where she would strive to make her unnie's life as lavish as she possibly can, where she would strive to create a life of abundance and happiness for her beloved unnie. Her unwavering determination fueled her ambitions, and she vowed to make a name for herself, securing a high-paying job that would provide Eunbi with the life she truly deserved.

Bae Joohyun will make it happen. Joohyun was determined to carve a path to success, channeling her dedication and drive into achieving great things for herself and her beloved unnie.

As she toiled away, Joohyun knew that her devotion and efforts would bear fruit. She would make her dreams a reality, for she had proven time and again that any goal she set her mind to was met with resounding success, conquering every challenge that came her way.

With unwavering determination, she was willing to do anything for her unnie, knowing that her love was worth the world. Nothing will stand in the way of her commitment to her beloved.

Joohyun's determination burned as brightly as the passion she felt, propelling her forward on a path that would one day lead to their union.

But for now, as she sat amidst her books and notes, all Joohyun could do was focus dilligently all of her enthusiasm into her studies, striving for excellence in every aspect of her life, pouring all her energy into excelling academically, and building a stable foundation for their future together.

And yet, with each passing hour, Joohyun's heart ached with the absence of her sister. As the clock ticked away, the minutes stretched into what felt like an eon. Every moment apart felt like an eternity, longing to bridge the physical distance that separated them, for the warmth and love that only Eunbi could provide. She misses Eunbi with an ache that resonated deep within her soul.

In the silence of her longing, she clung to the hope that her return would come soon, filling her day with the warmth and love she yearned for.

She really misses her.

"I'm back, Joohyun!" Hours later, Irene suddenly heard a ruckus coming from the entrance to their and the key unlocking the door, along with her beloved sister's voice exhoed through the entrace.

The sudden commotion disrupted any ongoing conversation among their friends, drawing their attention to the doorway. Sensing the imminent arrival of her beloved unnie, Joohyun's excitement reached its peak, causing her to drop everything and hastily make her way to the entryway.

With an unabashed display of joy, Joohyun propelled herself forward, launching her body into the air and embracing her older sister in a tight, engulfing hug using her entire body. Eunbi, accustomed to these exuberant displays of affection, instinctively caught her sister, ensuring a safe landing from the airborne assault.

"UNNIE!!" Joohyun exclaimed, her voice b with elation as she clung to Eunbi, refusing to let go. The force of her embrace momentarily caught Eunbi off guard, feeling the weight of her sister against her as the air was momentarily left her lungs. But also grateful that she had the wherewithall to set down her belongings upon entering, Eunbi steadied herself, wrapping her arms around her baby sister in a protective gesture, sinking into the skinship.

"Woah, Joohyun! Warn me first before you do something that."  Eunbi admonished and lightly scolded her with a mix of exasperation and amusement, the corners of her lips curling into a gentle smile. She had come to expect these impulsive displays of affection from her younger sister. Joohyun, unfazed by the scolding, continued to cling to her unnie, embracing her with all her might, her legs entwined around her abs in the tight embrace.

Amidst the embrace, Joohyun reveled in the familiar scent that wafted from Eunbi's work uniform—a unique blend of freshly roasted coffee and the comforting fragrance of Downy fabric softener. It was a scent that had become synonymous with the warm presence of her unnie, and Joohyun couldn't help but bury her face in the fabric, relishing in the familiar and comforting aroma.

In that moment, all the worries, troubling thoughts, and lingering anxiety washed away as Joohyun basked in the embrace of her unnie. For Joohyun, there was no greater joy than being in the arms of her beloved  sister, feeling the strength and love that emanated from her, knowing that she was always there to catch her, both figuratively and literally.

As they stood there, locked in their embrace, time seemed to stand still, their hearts beating in perfect harmony. It was a moment of pure love and connection. And in that embrace, Joohyun found solace, comfort, and an overwhelming sense of belonging.

"Hehe, you're back unnie-deul... I missed you so much~" Joohyun giggled, her lips stretching into a wide smile. She couldn't contain her joy, nudging even deeper into her sister's shirt, enveloping herself in the familiar scent that filled all her senses. Inhaling deeply, she allowed herself to be consumed by the scent, finding tranquility and peace in her older sister's embrace.

It felt so good to be back in her arms, regardless the situation, in a place of unconditional love and unwavering support.

This is where she belongs.

"I just saw you like a couple of hours ago, Joohyun," Eunbi playfully chided, a hint of amusement dancing in her tone.

Joohyun's smile didn't waver. "I still miss you though," she replied, her voice filled with sincerity.

'Aish, this kid.' Joohyun sure knows how to tug on her older sister's heartstrings.

Eunbi couldn't help but be touched by her sister's affectionate words. "And I miss you too, babygirl," she whispered back, her voice b with love. She poured her heart into those words, emphasizing as much affection into that phrase, like it's a fact.

In that quiet moment, the two sisters pressed their foreheads together, closing their eyes to shut out the outside world. It was in that moment of intimacy and connection, where their souls intertwined, speaking volumes without uttering a single word. Joohyun's breath hitched as she felt the proximity of their faces, her gaze fixated on the inviting softness of her unnie's lips. A part of her yearned for something more, like a stolen kiss, her first ever kiss. She could practically ingrain a picture of every detail of her unn
