“Can you just leave?!” she yells, her voice becoming hoarse through her cries.
Jonghyun smirks, reaching out again to caress the lovely tresses of her hair. Gosh, how she hates the way he never takes her seriously, how he thinks that he has so much control over her (which is true, but she will never admit it to herself), how conceited, horrible, and outright stupid he is (but it doesn’t change the fact that she loves him).
She sighs in exasperation for a split second and swats his hand away with an amount of force that even surprises herself.
He looks dumbfounded, but the expression fades away quickly. He always recovers fast, much to Jessica’s discontent (and envy).
“I told you to go away! Why aren’t you listening?!” she yells again, almost losing patience. Calm down, Sica, she tells herself. Stay rational, stay sane, don’t become a . (She always tells herself that because this is the only way she can prove that she isn’t one.)
When he doesn’t move an inch, she loses it. She kicks him straight in the knee (she wishes she has the guts to kick him... elsewhere) and gathers all her strength to push him out. He doesn’t have time to resist -- after all, since when has this girl named Jessica ever had this amount of strength, of will, of... rebelliousness?
She tears down those constraining walls that have been limiting her every single time she’s with him, willing herself to keep going: drive him out of your life. Once getting him outside, she quickly slams the door closed and locks it.
On the other side, she hears him wailing (ha, she thinks) in despair, “Please forgive me, I’m sorry, Sica...” He pounds ceaselessly at the door, begging to no avail.
Lies. He’s spewing out utter complete lies.
She sinks down onto the floor, her back leaning against the door. She deafens herself to his pleas, and hurts.
It hurts.
