Two days later...

Chaein steps into a cab, sitting down in it. She had promised Goeun that they'd meet soon, so she is on her way to do so now. She tells the taxi cab driver Goeun's address and the driver begins to drive there. It has been two days since Chaein learned that she, Goeun, and Ireh are all pregnant, but the reality of it still hasn't set in for Chaein. She's been in a small state of denial, despite having many signs and feeling at least slightly nauseous every morning when she wakes up. The anti-nausea medication she bought has kept her going.

Based off text conversations, Chaein has learned that Goeun has it off the best, with practically no ill symptoms. Meanwhile, Ireh has definitely has it worse. Ireh has told her that she has gotten sick every day since that day they found out. Chaein feels really bad for her. She wants to be by her side and tell her everything will be okay, but with Chaein's busy work schedule she hasn't been able to. Chaein likes to tell herself that at least she has Yuki and Dosie to help her out when she needs it, just like how Swan had helped her when she was sick.

After a few more minutes, the cab arrives near Goeun's apartment, coming to a stop. Chaein thanks and pays the cab driver before heading out, shutting the cab door behind her. She walks over to the door to Goeun's apartment and rings the doorbell. Only after a few seconds, the door opens to reveal Goeun's smiling face.

"Hey babe," Goeun smiles wide. "Come on in! I have something I just found out that I need to tell you."

"Hey," Chaein smiles back as Goeun holds the door open for her, stepping inside. When she heads in, she's also greeted by Jieun. She looks over nervously, wondering if the word of Ireh and her pregnancies has spread from Ireh, to Yuki, to Jieun.

"Hey Chaein!" Jieun greets her with a smile. "Come join us! Goeun and I were just having a chat!"

Chaein really just wanted to talk with Goeun. But, being polite, she nods and waves.

"Hey! Thank you," Chaein continues to smile as she sits down on the living room couch alongside Jieun and Goeun. 

"Hey, Jieun, can I see the ring?" Chaein asks, looking over at her curiously. 

Yuki and Jieun proposed to each other that night where Jieun had a guitar performance. Chaein had heard that right after Jieun's last song, Jieun invited Yuki on stage. And right at that moment, the both of them got onto one knee and proposed to each other at the same time. It was the talk of the night with a lot of the city's residents about how cute it was that they planned to propose to each at the same time by coincidence. Chaein wasn't there obviously because we all know why, but the thought makes Chaein's heart flutter.

"Woah.. so pretty," Chaein compliments after Jieun holds her hand out to show Chaein her engagement ring. "It must've been expensive."

"Thank you," Jieun smiles wider. "It's perfect. Yuki knew exactly what kind of ring I wanted." Chaein then turns to look at Goeun.

"So, Goeun, what was it you wanted to tell me?" Chaein asks curiously.

"Oh, yeah!" Goeun responds, seemingly forgetting what she was even going to say. "So... I just found out that I'm actually not pregnant..." She frowns slightly. "But at least we still have your baby. I just... thought my logic was smarter. My period was late and I felt similar to what I did when I was pregnant before, so I assumed I was. But I was wrong."

Chaein couldn't help but feel a bit relieved. Now she just has to worry about Ireh in the pregnancy regard. Had Chaein not been also pregnant, this would've been her signal to dump Goeun and stick by Ireh. However, Chaein doesn't know the other mother to the baby she's pregnant with, so she cannot make a decision based off that just yet. She doesn't want to break Goeun's heart just because Ireh's also pregnant.

"Oh..." Chaein frowns. "That's a shame. But... we'll still have a baby so it works out," her frown turns into a reassuring smile. But... she couldn't help but feel guilt. She could be leading Goeun on to believe a baby is hers when it might not actually be.

"But... I have some news that I was just discussing with Goeun," Jieun steps in, smiling wide with excited eyes. "I'm pregnant!"

"Congratulations! That makes the both of us!" Chaein responds. She's surprised, but happy for the both of them. "Good luck."
