Choi Arin has never thought about her life seriously, and never will. She doesn’t get people who try their best to get up from bed, have breakfast, go to work, (go for a date on weekend and later get married) come back home, have dinner, finally go to bed and repeat; and will never understand the reason of those people are getting praised for having that life cycle.

It is not like she has a praisable lifestyle too since it’s been a year since she graduated and here, what she has been doing is –

Lazing in her bed until 9.a.m Playing Tekken all day in arcades with Kim Yerim (they prefer arcades over PC room) Or going to the Book Street and spend some money (the only decent habit she has) Helping her mom run a Share House (where her major source to get money) Going to blind-dates (that her mom set up that will never work for her)

……………………………..

“EC….. (Fu….)”

Arin almost swore out loud as she spilled coffee on her white blouse while waiting for to sit the interview. Yes, INTERVIEW. Job interview to be a one-year-contract employee. Her mom said she is going to kick her out of their house if she continues being a good-for-nothing daughter. Arin didn’t care for the result; she just wanted to show to her mom that at least she tried(?).

F***, can’t you drink like a human, Choi Arin? Arin got annoyed, with her face grimacing from regrets. Is there anyone who drinks coffee while waiting at the job interview place? This shows how much Choi Arin being serious about getting a job.

“Gosh, are you alright? Did you get burnt?”

Arin was busy wiping her shirt and couldn’t look up the owner of a little strange Korean dialect that the Busan girl can never hear in her hometown.

“No, no... It’s already cold. I’m waiting for this to be cold and then I spilled it.” She should have just drunk the Ice one with a straw in the first place. Arin was trying to wipe the stain that won’t go away just by wiping it.

“Here,” she heard the voice owner said, “take my coat.”

Arin finally looked up and saw the lady taking off her coat. Ooh la la…

The owner of a little strange Korean dialect has a Drop-Dead Gorgeous Face and *cough* hot body.

“Here, take it,” the lady said again, offering her coat towards Arin as the younger girl didn’t respond but gawking at her.

“O-oh, thanks.” Arin awkwardly took the black coat.

“My pleasure. I’m late for my work so excuse me.” The lady must be in urgent as she jogged to where the office exists.

“Wait! U-uhm... how can I return your coat? Can you give me your number?” Arin asked loudly, not caring that she was not at her home, as the lady was already a few far from where she stood.

The lady smiled to her that was so bright and that could make Arin blind even from a far (a little MSG here) and shouted back, “I will be here from now on. By the way, good luck with your interview!” The coat owner waved at her and headed to where she intended. That was the first time Arin appreciated the fact that an office worker looks so y, smart and stylish when they care about their office hour.

Arin didn’t cares for the result (now); she just wanted to show to her mom that she at least tried(?). She must pass this interview and give the coat back to its owner.

One of her advantages that she didn’t tell to her interviewer is that she has the Sixth Sense. She has the hunch that she is going to pass the interview. Well, her mom said it is not the Sixth Sense, it’s the Nonsense.

Arin was ironing the coat. She wanted to give it back to the owner neatly. "Ouch, is that a tear?!!" There was a tear in a lining of a coat. She shook her head.

You looked like an exemplary employee. But what's the point of working hard since you have no intention to buy a new coat. As she's too used to fix her track suits, she could fix the coat easily.

“Done.” She folded and put the coat into one of the shopping bags her mom kept. All she needs is to get a call from the company.

“Let’s go and play Tek~ken. Cause I can’t play when I get a job~” Arin sang out of rhyme. Arin was in her usual track suit she wears whenever she goes out in the morning, with both hands in the pockets.

“Arin-ah, where are you going?” Arin’s mom, with a rice paddle in her hand, came out of the kitchen when she saw Arin in that track suit. Arin opened the fridge and took the lollipop out. Stick it in her left cheek, thinking it will make her look like she’s smoking when someone looks at her from the right side.

Haa… Mom asks this every morning.

“For a walk, I need to take care of my health,” Arin lied, although she knew her mom would never buy it.

“Won’t you apply for the other companies?” Her mom sighed and asked, with hands on waist.

“I told you already, I have the hunch…” her mom raised her hand to throw her r
