Donghae was an easy man to love. Despite the fact that Hyukjae would rather cut out his own tongue than admit it, but love was an easy thing if it was with Donghae. Unfortunately, that was Hyukjae’s downfall.

That was the reason why Donghae walked out on him two years ago. Their relationship ended the way it did because it was the way it needed to end. At least, according to Donghae. Hyukjae never realized his shortcomings in their relationship until it was too late. To him, it didn’t matter if he never did say the words ‘I love you,’ because to Hyukjae, such precious words were not meant to be spoken but shown.

Fast forward two years later, Hyukjae can proudly say he has moved on with his life. He went from a struggling fourth year business major to having a nice entry-level job as a statistical analyst for an up-in-coming start-up. Hyukjae got along well with his coworkers and occasionally even went out drinking with them after work shifts. On top of that, he finally moved out of that dingy apartment across a gas station and moved into a nicer one in the middle of the city.

Yes, Hyukjae’s life was improving for the better. Admittedly, every once in a while something would remind him of his past and of Donghae.
