I loved you so much

And you left

I can see that I went to the bad part, right?

I have been the biggest obstacle to your happiness.

And you didn't have to tell me anything because I saw it. And you know that I saw.

I saw his lips hit Chaeyoung's lips, I saw his lips move with love. The same love we had.

Now I realized

You were shaking all the time when she hugged you. Every time you blushed when she kissed your cheek.

I was so stupid that I didn't realize you disappeared at parties and dinners. All those admiring looks that Chaeyoung left.

You deceived me for so long that it made me think we were happy.

But I always knew that Hana was the only happy person in our family. Our daughter was the only one who really believed in our love.

You must think that I hate you, but you are wrong, you are completely wrong.

I still love you very much and I understand why you don't love me.

Because I couldn't be with you all the time, right? I just let you down. You needed me so much, but I was always busy with my job. That's probably why you were looking for solace in my best friend.

I understand why you left me Mina, I just can't understand how silly I was to believe that this was just another one of my paranoia.

"Hana, you have to see this!" Dahyun shouted from his room to his daughter who was playing in the hall.

Soon a replica of Dahyun appeared on the bedroom door, with a wide smile on his face and a dinosaur in his hands (a gift from his favorite aunt Momo).

"What is this! What is this ?!" Hana screamed excitedly, not knowing exactly what excited her.

Dahyun looked at his daughter with love, then took a big teddy bear from the cardboard box that Nayeon had received earlier. "It's a gift from her Okasan, she misses you so much"

Hana shuddered at the mention of Mina, the child had not seen her for several days.

A four-year-old girl made the famous angry face and crossed her arms. "I do not want it!" She screamed and Dahyun's heart broke.

The Korean recently noticed that Hana acquired a stubborn attitude towards Mina and her gifts.

"But dear, Okasan sent him specially for you" Dahyun tried to return the bear to his daughter, but the girl just grabbed his hands and threw him as far as he could, which was not much.

"She could have given it to me in person! Why isn't he coming home? Hana was still pouting, the stain on her lip was identical to that of her Japanese mother. She crossed her arms and Dahyun had to restrain herself from taking pictures of your adorable daughter.

A sigh and Dahyun sat on the floor next to where his daughter was. "Okasan is not coming back and didn't Eomma explain to you that she and Okasan are no longer together?"

The girl's eyes filled with sad tears, her arms fell beside her body. Dahyun pulled the girl to lie on her lap. "It's not because Okasan isn't here, that he doesn't love you, you know that, don't you?" Dahyun rubbed the spots on his daughter's face.

The girl nodded and buried her face in the comfort of her mother, Dahyun could do nothing but rock the child until she calmed down.

...

It's been a week since you left and I feel empty.

Hana asks when you will be staying with us again.

I wanted you to come back, but I know it's a bad idea.

While cleaning the house, I found one of his diaries. More specifically, the youngest.

Sorry if I violated your privacy, but I finished reading it last night. Reading the feelings you have for Chaeyoung really hurts. You were saying very specifically that she made you feel things that I never made you feel.

But it wasn't so bad to read about how bad you felt about destroying our family.

...

Tears streamed down little Kim's round face and wet Dahyun's baby blue shirt.

"Hana, tell me what happened" Dahyun pleaded, a few minutes ago that she had come home after picking up her daughter from Mina's house. "Why are you crying?"

Nothing but whining was heard.

Dahyun can do nothing but rock and comfort her daughter.

Hana fell asleep without saying what had happened, but Dahyun was almost sure that it was related to missing a happy family.

-

The next day, Hana finally gave the cause for the sudden sadness.

Hana saw Chaeyoung and Mina kissing for the first time. It looked like the girl didn't like Chaeyoung wandering around the house like she was Mina's new wife.

The girl didn't want to come home to Miyoi anytime soon.

Later, Hana also asked if Dahyun would start dating someday. Dahyun said no. Hana just said, "If you're going to get married again, I hope it's Aunt Momo."

Dahyun laughed and told Momo on the phone. Momo just pretended to throw up for the rest of the conversation.

...

To Mina: I hope you understand Hana's reasons, give her some time to get used to it.

If you want to see her, Jihyo will be happy to welcome you to her home.

...

Momo leaned against the back of the sofa and ate another piece of his rice ball. "You know, you should start dating someone"

The eyes rolled and Momo smiled.

"Just a month ago, Momo unnie, I'm not ready for this yet" Dahyun stayed a little longer in the Japanese girl's arms.

"You look like you're in mourning like that," said a distant voice, a sour tone accompanying the sentence. Probably Tzuyu.

"She's in mourning! Can't you see? Jeongyeon scoffed and received a slap from his wife." Ya Yoo Nayeon, if you hit me again ---- "

Uhg, that's when Dahyun misses Mina. He will save you from this meeting and take you home.

For a moment, Dahyun's mind remembered the fateful scene (as Tzuyu liked to declare).

Dahyun shook his head and concentrated on the rice ball that Momo was offering her. "Thank you," she whispered, with full.

After a few seconds, the group's maternal figure sat down next to him. There was a small ball of sleeping fat on his lap. The boy was only two years younger than the girl Kim.

"You know, Jihyo unnie, you can put Yi-cheng to sleep next to Hana, she doesn't move much while sleeping," Dahyun said, sitting up straight so that Jihyo could sit properly.

Jihyo frowned at Dahyun, the woman was very attached to her son.

And once again Dahyun remembered his ex-wife.

Dahyun's thoughts about Mina broke down when Momo started asking why the children were sleeping so early.

...

Finally, the documents arrived, I didn't think it would be so soon.

All those months passed quickly and, fortunately, I didn't have the opportunity to miss you so much.

Hana told me that she loves her new room, you must have done a great job, huh? Hana is very picky about the decor.

...

Dahyun turned the handle and tried to open the door quietly, but was unsuccessful when the door creaked. Luckily, the child in his lap just pouted and went back to sleep.

A sigh of relief came out and Dahyun finally entered.

She walked calmly to her daughter's room, where she changed her clothes for the precious flash pajamas and placed her under the covers so she wouldn't be cold at night.

Tiredness was weighing on Dahyun's shoulders, with shorter workloads, the woman would have to do a lot of work in a reduced time.

Leaving the daughter's room, Dahyun finally noticed the mess her home was in. With a snort, Dahyun decided that she should pack as little things as possible before going to sleep, she wouldn't have time to pack the next day.

Dahyun started organizing her daughter's toys, keeping them in the big chest that Mina had bought earlier in the year.

His mind wandered momentarily to Mina.

His workload was certainly killer, but Mina's should also be tiring.

Having to take care of an electric child while running a home and a ballet class was certainly a daily challenge for Mina. Dahyun couldn't help blaming himself for being too busy with work and leaving his wife aside. Well, ex wife.

After partially packing up things, Dahyun took a shower and lay down to sleep.

The thoughts still on Mina, and how lonely she must feel on the nights that Dahyun arrived too late. Was it a feeling similar to what she was feeling at the moment?

Alone, Dahyun laughed bitterly.

She had remembered that Mina was not alone, she had Chaeyoung to comfort her.

-

"Yes Jeongyeon, I'm almost there" Dahyun murmured on his cell phone, as he repeatedly pressed the bell at his ex wife's house. "do you want me to take something?"

Jeongyeon seemed to think, but Dahyun knew that she had nothing to think. "Actually, Nayeon asked me to buy wine and juice earlier, but I forgot. Can you bring it?"

Dahyun sighed, "Of course, anything else?"

The door opened, a woman appeared and Dahyun's heart lost control.

"D-Dahyun! You arrived early" Mina said, her voice as gentle as ever.

After a few minutes of paralysis, Dahyun heard Jeongyeon on the cell phone, asking if she was at Mina's house and if she should call tzuyu to rescue her from humiliation once again.

"After we talk to Jeongyeon, I'm going into a tunnel now" Dahyun lied and hung up the phone quickly. Mina smiled, and Dahyun's heart ached. "I came early because Nayeon wants to have dinner with us."

"With us?" Mina asked, a smile of hope shining on her face. Nayeon has been very hard on Mina for the past few months.

"Hana and me, that's what I meant." Dahyun corrected, hitting himself internally for being such an idiot.

Mina shook her head and turned inward. "Hana! Umma is here!"

Hurried footsteps were heard and in second a four-year-old girl was clinging to her mother's leg. "Are you ready to go?" Dahyun asked after kissing little Kim's face several times.

"Yes!" The girl said smiling. "We will!"

Before Dahyun could protest, the girl was already pulling her into the house. Dahyun can only send an apologetic smile to Mina, for invading her home.

Upstairs, Dahyun realized that the child's room was not as different as the one at Kim's house. Just a few extra toys, ballet shoes and a toy keyboard.

Dahyun sat on the small bed, watching her daughter walk and show off around the room.

Dahyun swore that the child would just grab his backpack from the daycare and that's it, but he found himself coming down with a film dragon under his arm and a policeman costume hanging from his forearm.

Hana went downstairs happily, carrying only the empty backpack and her dinosaur in her arms.

Mina was smiling when Dahyun went to say goodbye, the girl looked like a mess holding that huge dragon.

...

To Mina [23:40]: Hana said she misses sleeping between us.

I miss sleeping with you.

...

Dahyun stretched again in the studio booth, she had finally finished that melody that she promised Nayeon.

She had already moved to the water cooler, not needing to get up because of her wheeled chair.

The Korean's cell phone vibrated on the mixer and Dahyun hurried to check it out. She was expecting a message from Tzuyu, an event confirmation message to be more specific.

But it was not Tzuyu. It was your ex best friend.

From Chaeyoung [19:50]: Can we talk?

Dahyun closed his eyes for a moment, trying not to open the wounds in his heart more and more.

She summoned up all her courage and sent a message.

To Mina [19:57]: Tell your girlfriend to stop ing my bag.

...

I'm so mad at you!

How did you get Hana to like Chaeyoung so much?

I thought I would have that advantage on my side, but I see that I am wrong.

It sounds cruel, but part of me wanted Hana to hate Chaeyoung as much as I did.

...

Some time later

Dahyun massaged his head, a mild migraine spreading.

"Are you okay, Umma?" Hana asked, her little nose red from the cold wind, the small spot above her most obvious lip.

The older Kim nodded and smiled at the girl. Then he crouched down to close the girl's coat again and fix the snow boots. "Do you want Umma to carry you on your shoulders?"

Hana nodded several times, she never hid that it was her favorite part of the outings with Dahyun. The girl loved the privileged view, and loved to lay her chin above her mother's head.

When Dahyun checked that the girl was safe again, she started walking slowly. Her daughter's hands never came free.

At some point, Hana's arms ended up around Dahyun's head, tightening up, causing her migraine to become stronger.

When the family arrived at the cafe, it was a relief for Dahyun. A familiar figure was waiting outside, waving sweetly to the mother and daughter.

Hana demanded to go down immediately when she saw Momo, and Dahyun granted his wish with relief.

They walked into the cafe, Hana held on to Momo as if her life depended on it, and the Japanese girl didn't seem the least bit bothered to give her full attention to her friend's daughter.

The place was packed, so Dahyun offered to pick up the drinks and told Momo to look for a good enough place.

The Korean smiled at the barista when she was attended to, the woman was really beautiful. She ordered a lemon tea for Momo, a hot chocolate for Hana and strawberry milk for himself; she took the opportunity to get some chocolate muffins and some milk cookies.

As usual, Dahyun was the one who paid for everything.

Hana and Momo played with Momo's Nintendo Switch and didn't even notice when Dahyun joined them.

Dahyun pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and flipped through Instagram and Twitter, not finding anything interesting. She also sent a message to the Choi / Park family to inquire about baby Yi-cheng.

After a few minutes, Dahyun's request was ready and she got up to fetch it.

In the middle of the way Dahyun ran into a girl with red hair, the girl was a little clumsy and apologized a thousand times, even if it was Dahyun's fault for not looking where she is.

When Dahyun returned to the table, she noticed the disappearance of her then friend Momo. In Momo's place was another woman.

Dahyun was ready to kill Momo for leaving her daughter alone and beating the woman just for sitting next to her little gem.

And then he didn't realize that he was already at the table, and that his daughter was trying to get his attention.

"Umma!" Hana begged for her mother's attention, which this time answered. "This is Sana Unnie! Aunt Momo's friend!"

A moment and Dahyun realized that it was the woman who had bumped a few minutes ago.

The woman beside her daughter stood up and bowed to Dahyun, a polite greeting. "Hello, my name
