Joohyun was a bit discombobulated the next day at work. In her defense she was still reeling from last night's events and was running on 2 hours of sleep. She still had no idea about how or where the date was going to happen. But she was just excited in general for it. She couldn't hide her excitement, and evidently, the energy war teeming from her. It hadn't gone past Sooyoung too. The questionable glances at her all day was proof of that. 

When she messed up the recipe for the coffee cake the fourth time, Sooyoung seemed to have had enough. She dragged her aside. 

"What is going on with you? You've been jumpy all day and now you're messing up recipes you know at the back of your hands"

"Um"

"No um, I need answers. What is wrong with you today? It's a busy day unnie, you can't be distracted today. Are you sick?"

Joohyun moved her head back when Sooyoung tried to feel her forehead for a fever. 

"Yah, I'm alright. I just didn't sleep enough"

"Huh? Didn't you close the shop at 8pm yesterday? What were you doing so late?"

Joohyun knew she had a blush on her face. And Sooyoung had definitely seen it. 

"Okay, you're being really weird right now. Spill"

"I went on a night drive"

"Oh"

"Yea"

"Well, continue! With whom?"

Joohyun had to come clean. There was no point in hiding it. 

"Seungwan"

"Huh"

"You heard me"

"Wait, I might be hearing stuff, because I swear you just said Seungwan"

"Yes.."

"Oh. You went on a drive with the girl you have a crush on? How did that happen"

"Well, she asked me to go with her"

"Did she ask you if she wanted to netflix and chill too- Ouch", Sooyoung rubbed her hand on her forearm where Joohyun smacked her. 

"Why are you hitting me? It's a genuine question ya know"

"No she didn't"
