"Goodnight," you calmly said as you caressed his back. 

"Night," Jaehyun replied, still facing away. 

A small sigh escaped your lips as your hand moved up to his hair. You missed the feeling of his fluffy hair bouncing on your palm whenever you touched it. Jaehyun had been busy with work lately, and you tried to understand his situation. Being able to work from home allowed you to have time to do other things. You had a lot more free time compared to your boyfriend. Jaehyun's job required him to be on site. He had to do the meetings, the conference calls, and every other thing in the office from 9 to 5. 

That was his reason why he hadn't been able to have time for you. He said that he was so busy at work and too tired when he got home. On the weekends, all he wanted to do was rest. You tried so hard to understand him, to try and make sense of everything in your head, but something felt wrong. Something in your heart told you that there was another reason.

Things weren't like that six months ago. Jaehyun was such a caring, sweet, and perfect boyfriend to you. He was a working man, doing all the things he's doing now. The difference was that he always had time for you. He'd look forward to every night after work. Snuggling up in bed under the blanket with you while watching a TV show until you both fell asleep was something he used to do.
