ย ย ย ย ย arcana is a non-au, semi-literate, mewe based roleplay for the korean entertainment industry.
> Rules & guidelines
- both mun and muse must be at least 17 years old (internationally) prior to joining. we are not a rated roleplay and so do not allow rated content on any public space, including your muse profiles. semi-literacy asks for you to develop your muse, interact with others inย full sentences, and only use your original work. don't copy other writers, even those outside the rp!
- we accept celebrities in the korean entertainment industry (as idols, actors, models w/an agency, trainees w/official activities), excluding those whose information (full name and dob) is not public, those involved in major and/or potentially triggering scandals (burning sun, aoa, april, etc.), the deceased, those who are married, and those who have stated they do not wish to be roleplayed. those implicated in the recent bullying scandalsย who have not returned to their normal activities are temporarily unavailable for application.ย if you are unsure of your muse choice, please reach out before applying!
ย - if you wish to switch characters, please notify the admin for approval. if granted, re-apply and then either remove all contacts + leave the groupsย orย message the admin again once you have switched over the existing account and we'll re-welcome you. you must wait at least 2 weeks between each cc. dropping a muse and reapplying soon after for a new one is considered a cc, so the timeline still applies.
ย - moving couples are allowed, but each partner must mention it on their application. we welcome all ualities.
ย - the dating ban is 2 weeks. we allow marriage, but do not allow pregnancies/adoptions. characters who are under 19ย years of age internationally may not engage in any kind of romantic or ual relationship. typists who are under 18 years of age may not engage in any ual content, regardless of the age of their character.
ย - you must post an update at least once a week, in addition to commenting on 2 feed posts from other members of the roleplay (outside of your characterโs group/relationship) to fulfill the weekly activity requirement. post reminders are sent on 6 days of inactivity, to ensure members do not exceed 1 week without posting.
ย - full hiatuses can last for 14ย days, and semi-hiatuses for up to one month (you will be expected to post an update every 10 days). the p. w.ord is fated. you must message the admin to request a hiatus!
ย - if you are removed for inactivity, you may not RE-applyย for 2 days (48 HOURS) and YOUR PREVIOUS MUSEย will not be reserved for you.
ย - Please let us know if you will be leaving the roleplay! you will be blacklisted from rejoining the roleplay if you do not inform the admins prior to departure.
ย - this roleplayโs primary language is english, with the characters presumed to be speaking in korean at all times unless specified. so, for example, you do not need to write something in hangul to indicate that your character is speaking korean, but a character who speaks japanese could write something in japanese to indicate that they are breaking from the otherwise 'koreanโ feed. try not to make this a habit, though! โบ
ย - you may not post rated content anywhere outside of the group, and may not post triggering content anywhere on the public feed or the groups. this includes sharing any general plots that might be mature, or sharing rated content/language inย group chats outside of the group. if you discuss these topics in private, only do so with clear permission from all parties involved.
ย - do not mix ic with ooc. ooc drama is not permitted in any way, and we ask that all ic drama be done with knowledge and agreement from all parties involved.
ย - while we operate on a 3 strike system (which are administered based on violations of the aformentioned rules), the admins reserve the right to remove anyone for serious misconduct or disruption.
ย - receiving three strikes will result in immediate removal, the time prohibited from reapplying depends on the cause for removal.ย

> How to join
- when you apply, you must subscribeย and either comment on this story or pm the main stating who you applied for.ย upvotes are appreciated.
ย - reservations last for two days and can be made anonymously if you include a password.
ย - you must provide an active personal account with your application. this account must be at least 4 months old. we accept aff, tumblr, or (unprivated) twitter.
ย - limit is 3 characters, but you must wait 3 weeks between each and must receive admin approval for the third (see our policy here). if you are removed for inactivity onย a 2nd or 3rd character, the waiting period restarts. you cannot play 2 characters from the same group (including former members).
ย - please fill outย our application formย in its entirety. we are most likely to check applications and post acceptances on wednesday and the weekend (fri-sun)ย but take reservations + will add and introduce new members to the mewe groups throughout the week.
ย - once accepted, you will have 48 hours to add the two admin accounts.
ย - your account name must be in english with no special characters or fonts, and must reflect your museโs name or stage name, no nicknames (i.e., โvernon chwe' or 'hansol chwe', but not 'vernonnie' or 'dicaprio').
ย - you must include 'arcanaโ somewhere on your profile.
ย - do not add anyone until you have been welcomed to the roleplay. once you have been posted + added to all of the groups by an admin, you will have 48 hours to make both an introduction post and your first post on the feed.
