ABOUT US
Waikiki is a matchmaking / love-island themed semi au rp! this meaning the roleplay will take place in idol-verse but the theme is based around the love-island tv show, which the idols are participants of. we are semi-literate, meaning we encourage casual ic-use of group chats but expect participants to use threads/3rd pov for their primary form of rping!Β
GUIDELINES
001. this is an , semi- roleplay. this means that should be kept in dms, but we will have an group for explicit pictures. do not put explicit content in the timeline. if any of your posts contain heavy kinks please mark them with a trigger warning, and no gore/violent/disturbing posts allowed.
002. only face-claims in the east-asian entertainment industry are allowed.Β no ulzzangs or influencers at this time.
003. no face-chasing/be accepting and inclusive of all members.
004. be active! coming on and posting once every 24 hours without interaction is NOT considered active. we will be hosting activity checks as needed. hiatus/semi hiatus are allowed on an as-needed basis.
005. all ualities/orientations are allowed in the roleplay and your matches will be based on this. (please see above guidelines for how the matchmaking process works) you may enter into a relationship after being part of the roleplay for 2 weeks and going through at least 2 rounds of the matchmaking process.
006. temporary character changes are not permitted. (pw-favorite food)Β permanent character changes are allowed after 2 weeks and second-characters are allowed for members who have shown they are active and can take on another character.
007. any ic drama must be plotted out and accepted for both parties, and absolutely no ooc drama allowed. if you are suspected to be partaking in ooc drama or ic drama not okay-d by both parties, you will be approached by mods and removed from the roleplay if you continue. no blocking/unfriending of active rp members.
008. limit ooc talk to the ooc group, and try to keep it to a minimum. we encourage a majority-ic environment, ooc should be used only for communicating absences, catching up to replies, general updates, etc. no posting of selfies/revealing personal information such as first names. this is for the protection of all rp members.
009. If you decide to leave the roleplay, please inform the admins before your departure. if you ghost/do not inform of your absense you will be blacklisted from returning.
010: due to the nature of this roleplay, we encourage openness with orientations and reserve the right to turn down applications if the rp becomes unbalanced (i.e. if we have too many gay/straight members and the dating pool becomes uneven.)

001. subscribe + comment below with your brief application (below) and wait for the mod's message (make sure to have your aff messages open!). once accepted, please fill out our dating questionnare and add the mewe account linked at the bottom of the google form (its not too long, we promise!). you have 24 hours to complete the form + add the base account or your application will be null. from then you will be added to the groups by our base account, please also make sure to accept these invitations within 24 hours!
