That night, you were still thinking about the question earlier. You snapped out of your thoughts as your phone went off.

 

Seyong: darling, date tomorrow? I didn’t get to spend my week with you~~~ -pout pout-

 

You giggled as he whined through the text.

 

Dayoung: okay!! Nado bogoshipeosoyo!!

Seyong: we’ll sneak out after school, don’t let the hyungs catch you!

Dayoung: ne! ^^ jalja~ <3

 

While waiting for his reply you started fiddling with your phone.

 

Dayoung: [uh, Seyong calling?]

 

Dayoung: hello~

 

You sing songed as you answer the call.
 

Seyong: yah! You are sleeping just like that?

Dayoung: wae? It’s late already, you should sleep too. I don’t want to date a panda tomorrow.

Seyong: bo bo hae.

Dayoung: childish oppa! Arasseo, muacks good night oppa

 

You kissed your phone.

 

Seyong: hehehehe ja, I’m hanging up now, sweet dreams baby

Dayoung: ne, jalja opa ^^

 

The next day you decided to go to school alone without your brothers.

 

Minhyun: Dayoung-ah!!

 

You could not hear him as you had your earpiece in. You suddenly felt a hand on your shoulder. In a swift movement you grabbed that hand and flipped that person over your shoulders. Your eyes widen when you saw Minhyun groaning in pain on the floor. You pulled your earpiece out and helped him up.

 

Dayoung: omo mianhaeyo Minhyun-ah. I’m sorry!

Minhyun: that’s tough for a girl!

Dayoung: sorry sorry!! Are you badly hurt?

Minhyun: ani ani, I’m fine

 

Both of you ended up walking together to school. You bit your bottom lip, feeling guilty while you help the limping boy to school.

 

Minhyun: I’m really okay! You don’t have to feel so guilty

Dayoung: but you’re limping!

 

You brightened up as you see the NU’EST boys waiting at the gate.

 

Dayoung: Baekho oppa!!!

 

You shouted for help and felt daggers piercing through you.

 

Ren: hyung, what happened??

Minhyun: I kinda sprained my back?

Dayoung: it’s all my fault ><

 

You said as Aron took over to support him.

 

Dayoung: I kinda…threw him over my back.

JR: wow, that’s tough for a girl!

 

He said in a mocking way as he scanned you from head to toe. You suddenly felt someone pull you close to him. You lifted your head and saw Yongguk standing behind you.

 

Yongguk: ma! What were you trying to do?! Eyeing my sister like that!

Aron: not again…

Daehyun: Dayoung-ah let’s go

Aron: I’ll bring you to the sick bay, Minhyun.

 

The 2 groups left the leaders still staring at each other. Fangirls started taking out phones and cameras to take shot of this legendary moment. It was rare to see the 2 of them so close. Just then, MYNAME came in from the school gate.

 

JunQ: boya? We got 2 new statues in school? What a waste of money!!

 

Seyong wacked JunQ on his head and approached the 2 leaders.

 

Seyong: Yongguk hyung, any help here?

 

He asked as he needed to get into the good books of Yongguk.

 

Yongguk: red head, you’ll do anything?

Seyong: erm…anything other than fighting? Remember what we promised Dayoung the other day?

 

He whispered. It then reminded him about the other day he fought with JR over small matters and suffered long lecture from you. Yongguk cleared his throat and said

 

Yongguk: I’ll settle with you again

Gunwoo: come on chingu-yah, ignore him he’s always like that. Up on the wrong side of bed.

 

Gunwoo slung his arms over JR’s shoulders and pulled him along and back to class.

After a long day in the school, the long awaited school bell rang. In a blink of an eye Seyong had already left, leaving you alone to escape.

 

Dayoung:[stupid Seyong!! Eotteoke!!!]

Daehyun: Dayounggie!!!!!! I’m cooking lunch today! Let’s go!!!

 

You jumped when Daehyun came bursting into the classroom.

 

Dayoung: [! All the oppas will be here soon!!] oppa, I won’t be home for lunch, I got…some research to do in the library. Why not you cook dinner instead?

Youngjae: don’t lie to us young lady, wait till the 2 hyungs get here and you’re so dead!

 

You started to panic inside you.

 

Minhyun: Dayoung, ready to go?

Dayoung: ne?

Jongup: what?! You’re going to finish that damn history project?

 

Minhyun nodded. It was lucky that you were being paired up with Minhyun. Sad for Ren he was being paired up with Seyong, famous for not doing project.

 

Minhyun: sorry hyung, we wanted to get this off our hands asap so we decided to do it today.

Daehyun: fine, be home for dinner

Dayoung: ne! jalga oppadeul

 

You hugged Daehyun and walked out of the class with Minhyun and Ren.

 

Dayoung: thanks for helping me Minhyun-ah, we’ll finish the project tomorrow okay? I promise!!!

Minhyun: I know I know, get going Seyong must be waiting for you

Dayoung: bye boys!

 

You waved goodbye and slow jogged to the alley beside the school where Seyong parked his bike. Ren decided o go and grab some lunch before meeting his friends for dance.

 

Ren: you sure you don’t want to grab a bite?

Minhyun: nah…I’ll see you later…

You glared at him and he gave you his signature eye smile.

 

Dayoung: what a question, pabo! You left me there and Minhyun had to get me away from my oppas!

Dayoung: AGAIN?!

Seyong: no darling! I meant never, NEVER AGAIN!

 

You let out a satisfied smile and urge him to go before your brothers come out of the school.

Youngjae: why aren’t they here yet!!! It’s been 30 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jongup: I think they’ll be here---

Zelo: HYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUUUNG!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOONAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!

Jongup: told ya!

 

Zelo shouted through the corridor. The boy dug their head out of the door to see what the commotion was about. Zelo came to an abrupt stop and crashed into Youngjae’s arms

 

Youngjae: yah! What happen?!

Zelo: where’s noona?

Jongup: she left with Minhyun wae?

 

He panted hard trying very hard to explain to his hyungs what had happened…

 

Zelo: Ren…Minki…hyung…He…he was taken away!

 

Just as he finished his sentence, the older boys came in to the class.

 

Zelo: JR hyung! Ren hyung is in trouble!

JR: mwo?

 

Zelo told JR everything he saw and NU’EST had already went to chase after the black porche.

 

Daehyun: what?! Dayoung’s with Minhyun!!

Yongguk: quick, give her a call!

 

At the same time, Seyong and you were queuing for movie tickets.

 

Dayoung: omo! Daehyun oppa!

Seyong: answer the call, else he would be worried.

 

You nodded and picked up the call carefully.

 

Dayoung: hel…hello? Oppa?

Daehyun: yah dwaeji!!! What took you so long to answer the phone! Are you with Minhyun?!

Dayoung: a…aniyo

 

You stammered little feeling guilty about lying to them.

 

Daehyun: then where the hell are you!!!

Dayoung: with Seyong oppa?

Daehyun: pass the phone to him NOW!!!!

 

You passed the phone to him unwillingly afraid he would get all the scoldings.

 

Seyong: ne hyung. Ne arasseo, don’t worry. Ne~~

 

He hung up the call and returned the phone to you.

 

Dayoung: is everything okay? Is Minhyun in some danger? Daehyun oppa sounded---

Seyong: relax girl, everything is okay  don’t worry. What shall we watch?

Dayoung: erm…I’m fine with anything except action you know it right?
