Wedding jittersAre you happy, Chaewon?
The question had been echoing through her mind ever since her bachelorette party last night. She heard it in her head when she was eating her cereal, bathing in her suite’s extravagant bathroom, and now as she was sitting in front of the mirror of the dressing room before her wedding.
My wedding. It had a bittersweet taste into it. Gone will be the days of her in the club getting free drinks, hello to brunch and waking up to the same person every single day for the rest of her life. She had been okay with it… Until the bachelorette party last night.
She could vaguely remember the booze, the perfumes, and the strippers (she swore one of them looked like her ex), but what she could remember clearly was her dragging her best friend Yena to the balcony saying,
Yena, I’m not sure about this.
Her reminiscing was cut short by the same person on her thoughts. “Hey Chaewon. As your best woman, I am required to tell you that we need to be at the altar in 10 minutes.”
Chaewon nodded, clearly deep in thought. Yena could see her best friend’s facial expression and said, “I saw her in her dress today. Pink hair suits her.”
Chaewon smiled. “I’ll be there.”

Minju was pacing the room nervously. They said that it was normal for anyone to be nervous before the wedding, but she really could not stay still. Her white flowy dress was trailing as she walked to and from the door, hesitating to turn the doorknob because she knows turning it will result to a life-changing decision.
