Wendy and Hoseok have been together for a year. Without anyone knowing. The two were from rival schools. Wendy comes from the Elite team’s school and Hoseok comes from the Rowdy team’s school.  

The worst part of dating in hiding is the fear of getting caught and the sadness of not telling your close friends about your relationship. “Who was that guy?” Her four friends stood in front of her.

She proceeded to take her shoes off. “Which guy?” She asked cautiously 

The four girls looked at each other. “Oh I don’t the guy who was back hugging you at the park. Yeah we saw.” Irene said 

Crap!

Wendy pushed past them and went to the kitchen. “I don’t think that was me. I was at the library anyways. I'm feeling sick. I’m going to take a nap.” She said diverting the topic

As she was leaving her roommate yelled out “Don’t forget we have the game tonight! The Elites are going to crush the Rowdys.” Oh great

The Elites and the Rowdys have an annual soccer game at the beginning of every second semester. It’s been a thing since the last 2 decades. Her brother and his friends were the selected players this year. Unfortunate for her cause her boyfriend and his friends were the selected players for this year’s Rowdy team

Wendy gave an ok sign, dashed to her room, flopped on the bed and took out her phone.

Angel:

You idiot! I told you we should’ve met somewhere private.

Babe:

Woah, what do you mean?

Angel:

My friends saw you back-hugging me at the park genius.

Babe: 

did they say anything?

Angel:

Of course they will. But I dodged it 

Babe:

See I knew I picked the smartest of the bunch

Angel:

Stop it with your flattering, I'm still pissed.

Babe: 

Oh come on. We’ve got the big game tonight. If you’re mad, how will your boyfriend have the strength to beat your brother?
 

Wendy smiled

Angle:

Well maybe the boyfriend should come meet me behind the left bleachers to get a little something so he could be powered up. 

Babe:

Copy that Captain.

Soon evening fell and it was time for the game. Wendy wore white shorts and a long jersey. She let her hair down. Hoseok liked to grab her neck under her hair when they hugged. It was something both of them enjoyed. 

Wendy waited for the right time to sneak away from her friends. “Hey I think i forgot something in the car.” she said

Everyone groaned. “Ughh but the parking lot is so far away.” Joy complained 

Wendy patted her. “It’s okay, give me the car keys, I'll go and come.” She took the keys from Yeri and headed off the bleachers.

 Wendy made sure no one looked as she slowly snuck away to the bleachers. She waited and took out her phone to text him when she heard a voice. “Hey are you providing free hugs here?” she smiled and looked up to see him

Without hesitation she ran up to him and jumped as he caught her. “Well dang didn’t know they were actually true.” she laughed as she hit him.

Wendy stared into his beautiful orbs that were shining in the moonlight. She leaned closer connecting their lips as the fireworks went off in the background indicating the game was about to start. As it got hotter, the couple heard a sound of glass breaking. 

Pulling apart they see Kim Seokjin the Rowdy’s team Captain with his girlfriend Jisoo. “I thought you were in the bathroom? Wait, aren’t you Park Chanyeol’s sister?” he questioned

Hoseok went in front Wendy shielding her while Jisoo held on to Jin’s arm trying to calm him down. “Hyung calm down.” He tried to  coax 

But it only made him more angry. “Wait wait. Is she the reason why you wouldn’t show up to practice sometimes? You realize she might be just using you. HUH?! IS THAT WHY YOU’RE DATING HIM?” Jisoo held him back while Wendy brought Hoseok back to make sure nothing would happen.

Hoseok looked back and saw a worried Wendy. “Hyung we didn’t even know we were from rival schools until 6 months into the relationship.” As Jin tried to say something the warning bell for the game to start rang. 

Hoseok gave Wendy a quick peck before leaving. “Good Luck. I love you.” She told him fearing that this might be the last time she’ll be with him. 

He smiled and nodded and went with a mad looking Jin, leaving Jisoo with her. “You love him, ey?” she asked 

Wendy smiled and looked down. “Yeah he came into my life like a ray of sunshine. His smile could light a room. I don’t think I can live without him.” She said and Jisoo came up and hugged her

‘It’s okay everything will be fine.”

Wendy went back to where her friends were who questioned her as to why she was gone so long but as always she dodged the question. 

Being a part of a friend group who were all related to the team members was hard for Wendy. “I can’t wait for our brothers to beat their this year.” The competition and hatred for the opposite school and team was real.

She tried finding her boyfriend in the crowd and found him only to see him being yelled at by the rest of his team. She wanted to go down there and defend him but couldn't as she was scared of her own friends finding out. 

The game began, 20 minutes into the game and neither team had gotten a score and both sides were watching with anticipation. The lineup for the Elites was Jongin, Sehun, and Lay on offence, Suho, Kyungsoo, and Baekhyun on defence with Wendy’s brother Chanyeol as the goalkeeper. The lineup for the Rowdy’s was Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook for offence. Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok on defence and Namjoon as goalkeeper.

Kai kicked the ball to Sehun who passed it to Lay. Lay dribbled the ball to the other side and aimed to kick at the goal. In between the goal and Lay was Jin to get the ball and Hoseok behind him to get it just in case.
