You’d never wanted a soulmate and as you had no obvious marks, strange dreams or ways to communicate with one you’d hoped you would be one of the (un)lucky few that wouldn’t have one. Yet, all it took was one overheard conversation and a single word tattooed onto your skin for all hope to fade. That didn’t mean that you’d change your mind and give in without a fight though.
